- It's time to continue building Team GIFT with the second member of the team, none other than Charles Dickens' legendary Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol. Can we turn him into something resembling a hero?

The ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future
This is a crossover I never knew I wanted
Was definitely getting Bakugo vibes (with a hint of Uraraka's desire to earn a good income) as this went on before you actually mentioned him & Vegeta XD
But I do like how you didn't just make him a RWBY Bakugo in how you adapted the source of much of his hard-work, greed and stubborness, making him a top student type to a fault (kinda like Pyrrha but with Pre-defrosting Weiss sourness) and I love the small ways you used the ghosts for his combat side.
Fave of the two so far, can't wait for the rest!
Thanks so much dude, glad to hear it! The other one was more a direct adaptation where as this one took a lot of reworking his themes into the setting so they came out very different. I wasn't sure what the general opinion would about the different approach. Thanks for the feedback!
Kinda seems like a Schnee if you squint.
Also hey he's got three teammates and there are three Christmas ghosts. Hmmm.
27:20 He and Ruby might bond over weapons.
For the F in Gift, I wanna guess it is a Genderbent Jack Frost. Or it could be the Snow Queen from the Hans Christian Anderson story of the Same name.
or frosty the snowman. that would make the semblance interesting with a magic hat or something. just looking at the silhouette, you can kinda see a winter cap on them.
This Scrooge really reminds me of Blackstar mixed with Greed from Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Rough on the outside and hard to get along with for normal people, but those who are strong enough and open minded enough can befriend him and maybe earn his respect or care under the right circumstances.
I can see Ebony having a bit of a rivalry with Glade early on like Weiss disliked Ruby being leader.
In a homebrew DnD RWBY campaign myself and some friends did, I had a character whose weapons were heavy chains that could be infused with dust. Seeing Ink's weapon was a great take on a similar concept.
With that chain idea I would have given the ghost rider like powers
Loved the video keep it up, but I have two complaint, 1: make his chain whip spin. 2: at the very end of each chain have a dust infused orb. I like the idea of his chain spinning so that he could either take cover behind it(because I’m movies if some thing spins fast enough it can block anything) and he can have it spin up for devastating whip attack. The only thing that would make that better is if the tips were dust infused so that he could hit you with fire or lightning or something else.
It's a little too much. Not everyone should be maxed out, even if it fits their character. He needs holes to use against him and places to grow. Not to mention things like dust are expensive and having each individual chain having a different element is too much. It'd be too hard to control the individual effects. Even if they're all the same dust it locks him into a single elemental approach. Not every weapon uses dust and his not using allows his skill and power to show though. Plus making him an expert in a weapon without dust makes him more adaptable as he doesn't rely on a limited resource. It's easy to design invincible power players but things like him blocking shots with his weapon, armour and dodging without the spinning weapon speaks to his skill whilst still making him vulnerable. Even designing a powerhouse battle expert he shouldn't be perfect and he's not.
I really like this series and idea
Thank you!
@@YouAllWrite no thank you for making all these awesome videos
Ok I just realized I have ideas for the last two Jack Frost and Santa I could be rong but I feel like it's a good guess
I can’t get over how awesome this characters is
RUclips before: Imma notify when a new video comes out one day after the creator post it.
RUclips now: I decided not to notify you when a new video comes out overall I think it's a great improvement in our part in supporting content creators btw look here we have a new video of jake paul.
Great job riga your creativity is very much appreciated
Thank you, and yeah youtube really puts the hurt on smaller channels like mine. I really appreciate the continued support!
For the gun, instead of having box magazines that load from the top, the gun has an internal magazine that is loaded with stripper clips, like a Mauser c-96.
Hype
I see quite a few people think that F is Jack Frost. Personally, I am leaning towards Frosty the Snowman. If it isn't frosty the snowman, then (wink wink nudge nudge) Frosty would still be a great character to do a re:semblance for.
I just had a thought midway through watching. What if Ink needed to get on the other side of a wall? He activates his semblance and blurs into a copy on the other side before turning it off, he's through. It's just a thought, not sure if it's possible or not.
Wait is T Rudolph?!
I’m guessing the last one is based on Rudolph. Can the semblance be to shooting a red laser from the nose?
Not sure if you will say this in either of the last two videos for Team GIFT, but, Maybe say something about linking the Character Card your using for others to use for their characters?
Like when we're making our characters, we could use that Character Card your using.
may I question why you have made them buff so far, Grinch had a grill and scrooge is strong.
There's not really much to it. They're huntsmen. Almost all the guys in the actual show are petty cut - sun, jaune, ren, sage etc are all rocking 6 pacs anyway and with the grinch I was playing into the fact he's always naked in his original form so it only made sense if he was going to be showing skin it'd be because he had something to show. It as as close as i could get adapting that over. Here it's that as his backstory explains he's dedicated himself to training and combat his entire life so that'd probably be the result especially since he uses a heavy style and weapon. I just made what suited the character.
@@YouAllWrite makes sense, grinch was to mess with people, scrooge was cus that was his life goal.
The F in GIFT could be based on Faustus?
