I'm a Yankee fan living in NC so I get Braves games locally and that booth the Braves had was one of the best experiences I have had in awhile. Just absolutely amazing
I recorded the game just for the booth haha
The home run calls were so bad yet.....so good. Watching that game with no play by play call but with legendary players just ribbing each other was absolutely amazing(Like you said).
North Carolina the best
I'm sorry that you're a Yankees fan lol just joking
He wasn't I'm sorry too
This is unreal what a game this was. Arguably a game of the year candidate but wow what a game. Ozzie Albies with the cold blooded walk off 3 run home run he knew it instantly and so did truist park as it erupted immediately. Riley also with a homer, darnaud with one as well, also arcia with the game tying home run in the 9th, acuña and rosario with nice nights as well. Even with the pitching not being so strong the braves never gave up and found a way to win it. This team is full of resilience and it is special. Truly an incredible game and series as the braves get the sweep over the mets and in all 3 games they trailed by at least 3 runs and came back to win each one. Gg New york, awesome job atlanta this was awesome. Washington coming to town next. Go braves #ForTheA

I'm not a fan of either team, but this was fun to watch!
I'm neither a Braves or Mets fan, but anyone who follows the sport of baseball knows Arcia's tying HR should've never existed. The Ump by design called strike 3 a ball in PLAIN sight that gave him life. I knew right then and there how this game was going to end. There would be no 10th inning or a sweep. It's no coincidence having HOFs in the booth calling the game from a franchise they represented as former players, it had to be dramatic so it could look like some storybook/fairytale ending. All of you Braves fans just eating it right up lol. Mission accomplished. That's the absolute truth whether you want to believe what really took place or not
@@reno-san87I bet you’re fun at parties… 😎
@@reno-san87 right and the strike call to Ozuna on a full count is definitely rigged, no way the Mets are going to throw a game to the Braves especially with how competitive Cohn is.
Tom Glavine kept roasting everyone else in the Braves broadcast booth the whole game lmao
Chipper haunts the Mets just being in the broadcast booth.
Mets own Chipper Jones the only thing he should be in the hall of fame for is steroids 🤣🤣🤣
@@JasonVoorhees-dz2dtcry😭🫵
@@JasonVoorhees-dz2dtThe Mets never had anyone at 3rd that comes relatively close to chipper and never will😭
@@JasonVoorhees-dz2dt Chipper? The infamous Mets killer? He destroyed the Mets his whole career. Never seen someone trying to cope hard. It’s ok little buddy no need to reach so far
@@JasonVoorhees-dz2dt I mean Chipper is probably the most successful player against the Mets ever, he owned them so hard he named his son after their stadium
Well, as a Met’s fan, I guess we’re back to the normal way of life for us. For us it was a horrendous series. The only bright spot was pummeling Strider again. But it also proved moot. Hopefully Alonso learned to keep his donut masher shut. To the Braves: Hat tip to your line up. Your line up treated the Met’s bullpen like batting practice. Nice job on the sweep. Giving credit where credit is due.
Soul crushing loss for the Mets..couldn't happen to a better fansbase
Ozzie Albies stepped to the plate like a mechanic. 😮
He came to fix things! 😎
It was one of the greatest slugfests ever occurred between both teams at Truist Park last night, and the Atlanta Braves came out on top and swept the Mets by a score of 13-10 in extra innings.
Atlanta started out with three runs to take the lead in the first. But the Mets launched a major counterattack with five runs of their own in the second, and that's when this slugfest really gets going.
The atmosphere inside Truist Park is really intense, and Atlanta was behind 10-7 during the second leg of the game. But the Braves aren't gonna let the Mets escape, and they did so by adding a total of three runs to tie the game by the end of regulation.
By the 10th inning, the Braves delivered the final knockout blow on the Mets with three runs, and they swept the New Yorkers out to the curb. This proves that if you mess with the Atlanta Braves, you'll get the chopping block!
Now, with the perfect sweep behind them, the Braves are now firing on all cylinders and gearing up for the final home stretch when the Nationals make a beeline for the ATL. Can the Atlanta Braves keep up their home field advantage and go for win number four, or is there gonna be dirty politics in store in favor of the Nationals?
Find out for yourself by tuning in tonight to see if the Braves can avoid politics on their watch from Truist Park in Atlanta!

Best broadcast in history. Really enjoyed their commentary, and the walk-off home run made it even better.
Game was over when Vientos couldn’t add insurance runs with bases loaded. Pains me to say this but you gotta admire ATL’ s resilience and determination to get the end result.
Don't just single out Vientos. Narvaez had a shot too and also struck out.
@@johnathanpatrick6118 I don’t blame Vientos entirely since he hadn’t played in a week. Braves comeback was inevitable.
@@FormerlyNYVulgarian Umpire threw the game when he called that a check swing. That was it.

Minus 2 missed strike calls in the 9th before the game tying hr. Umps need to be better.
What about the obvious botched called 3rd strike to Ozuna before Arcia's at bat?

I can’t believe how Verlander is pitching. It’s strange to see him struggle like this
Need this energy now in 2024
That Braves MC was having way too much fun.
And frankly, so were we.
the Fame of the year
Both broadcast booths are on point
Bruh i'd be so pissed if i was a mets fan, arcia got struck out twice in the bottom of the ninth and then still hit a game tying homer
Tremendo juegazo
Dam, that’s baseball.
Acuna strikes out Twice World n bad calls then tanks the tying HR, then Ozzie walks it off. That’s a rough outing for the Mets.
This is more of the Mets bullpen being bad and the Braves are too good to make mistakes. I’m not worried about the Mets offense, if they every get the pitching going they will be right there
The tag on Marte at home plate could be debated which would have made the game already tied 9 to 9 and then Arcia getting out by swinging too far could have been an out but they still would have went to the 10th and who knows what would have happened differently. Got to play the tag on extra slow motion.
No ones going to talk about Arcia swinging on strike 3 and being called a check swing? OK. not a fan of either team but that cost them the game. Thats bullshit
No they legit called strike 3 on a clear ball 4 for Ozuna the AB before, Arcia’s should’ve been the walkoff
Yea, watch the at bat before arcia, see if you still call BS lol
1:10 - Nice call, bubba
"Those boys came down from the Big Apple and they got baked into apple pies..." 😂
They threw it again! 2 sweeps in a row against the Mets at home
Awsome video
That was a game for the ages.
I feel bad for the Mets because they literally had two strikes called balls and then the home run happened.
Robertson's pitch was a game changing call. MLB should give video replay challenges for strike/ball calls to teams to make it fair. Ultimately Robo strike zones should be imposed.
@I am a person…You are wasting your talent in the comment section . Did you ever consider becoming a baseball analyst ?

I dedicate this game to any met fans out there who think their team is any good..
@8:46 the Mets pitcher reaction says it all 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I've literally watched thousands of Braves games, and this has to be the most entertaining game I've ever watched on tv. The game was incredible, game of the year, but having the guys in the booth was arguably the greatest thing ever.
They need t ofind a way to get this forever. Im sorry for the new guy if he has to be out, but he will find somewhere.
I was only able to watch part of the broadcast so hopefully a friend recorded the rest. But very funny with those guys. They need to work on their HR calls lol 😂 francouer stealing White Sox Hawk call lol.

Is enjoyable to have it occasionally not all the time.
Plus smoltz already got a fair number of appearances with fox and mlb network so he won't have time to do this all the time.
Chipper is also a consultant and is coaching his kids baseball so he won't wanna be doing this all the time either.
Amazing game
Not only was this game great, but it was also one of the most entertaining broadcasts in the history of professional sports. Pretty surreal that it all happened on the same night.

I think the Jason Vorhees dude trolling these Braves comment sections the past few days is either the alternate account or the brother of that one insane Astros fan, the posting styles are incredibly similar.

Game 62: This has gotta be the most satisfying series the Braves have played all year. Francisco Alvarez of the Mets hit 2 off of us but it still wasn't enough. This was THE game of the year; Arcia tying it and Albies winning it an inning later was amazing to listen to on the radio. Unfortunately Strider's ERA ballooned today but I believe he will be able to get it back down. Riley and Ozuna also hit nukes today. I heard the broadcast booth was legendary today so I guess its fitting that we get a legendary win today. Hopefully the Braves can take the momentum with them against the Nats, although I doubt they need it, lets gooooo
Also I bet Robertson and Hunter wish they could undo it and throw it again

Jesse Chavez being nails after loading the bases very underrated sequence. Go Braves and Mets will forever be the laughing stock of NL East
Jesse's been stone cold with bases loaded 1 out, on Arizona and tonight striking out the next 2 batters to get out of the jams
in fairness, imagine how embarrassing it must be to load the bases against the mess
@@nathangursky4628 Might be embarrassing, but as long as you're able to escape damage it's fine. The worst alternative...well, Brandon Nimmo already showed that.

Two of the league's best pitchers getting lit up by two of the league's best lineups.... Doesn't get any better than that. Wish they could both be given a W, that was incredible....
“Two best”?
Coming into this game Strider was the Cy Young frontrunner and the Braves had the #2 offense in the NL. Meanwhile there were already concerns the 40 year old Verlander (who now has a 4.85 ERA with a $43M a year salary) had lost a step while the Mets offense is the very definition of average ranking 8th out of 15 NL teams.
@@vc8my Braves’ strategy: develop young talent and sign them to longterm team-friendly contracts. Also make smart trades and pick up very cheap free agents who are then turned into above-average or better players.
Mets’ strategy: give out massive contracts to “older” players based on what they did in the past instead of based on what they’re likely to do during the contract.
Im so DAMN PROUD as a BRAVES's fan.. wat a game and wat a broadcast by those legends.. pls bring them back to the booth

It's hilarious how the Mets and Padres who were the most active during the off season, with all that talent and both sit at 4th place in their division 😂
The Padres after what they were able to do last season have no excuses as to why they're that far behind in the NL West. You know your foes are gonna retool in some fashion, don't just rest on your NLCS laurels and think teams like the D-backs and Giants aren't gonna figure it out. Braves fan here and I agree but the game would have had a completely different turnout if the right calls were made all game. That would affect both teams.
Not going to lie the umpiring crew in this series was not the best and I will admit we should’ve lost this game.
But still no matter who won or lost this game it was a very intense match too bad it all ended giving us the win because of a deus ex machina in the bottom of the 9th a.k.a 2 strike 3 calls that were called balls and then a solo Homer right after and that’s coming from a Braves fan.

Classic Metting.
IN CASE YOU DIDN'T WATCH THE GAME: Regarding the 1st base ump's blown call on Arcia, the ump behind the plate blew a call for Ozuna (previous batter). Ozuna should have been able to take a walk. Instead, he went down as a backwards K. Too big a moment for that! So, the 1st base ump's call in Arcia's favor made things even.
Made things even… if you take away both missed calls, it’s 10-9 with a runner on first and 1 out. But clearly that’s the same as 10-10. Missed calls happen. 2 happened in that AB, get over it, should have lost, accept the break and shut up.
Exactly justice was served . 😊
