Wheeewwww.....what a massive beating we gave the Metropolitans in the 1st game of this double dip, there were plenty of stars to be acknowledged for this one........Acuna 3 runs, Ozzie 3 hits, hr and 6 rbi's, Austin hr and 3 rbi's, Olson 3 hits, 2 hr's 4 rbi's and over taking Ohtani for the MLB Home Run lead, Murphy hr and 2 rbi's......but the stars of the show here for me were Allen Winans with 7 strong innings of shut out ball giving up only 4 hits 2 BBand 9 strikeouts and Nicky Lopez displaying good defense and pitching the final inning giving up one hit and allowing no runs to go along with 4 hits 3 runs a hr and 5 rbi's, he really is a do it all man and hope to see him play more often.
You'll have the haters pointing out that we only did this against the lowly Mets but when the Braves bats are this hot and they are locked in they can do this against ANYBODY, now let's go take the 2nd game, GO BRAVOS!!!!!!!

42 Home Runs in August? 😮 Matt Olson is having one of, if not the best season from a First Baseman in baseball history this season, and he probably won't even win the MVP Award because of a guy who plays on his own team, that's how dominant Atlanta has been. yes, the rotation is pretty shitty right now. But, we all have to remember Wright will be back in September and Lee will be coming back in the next two weeks. So the rotation going into the playoffs will be: Strider, Fried, Wright, Elder, and Morton(who is the bad apple in the rotation). And in the bullpen it'll be: Lee, minter, Jimenez, mchugh, Tonkin, Iglesias, Yates, Johnson, and hand. The Braves pitching is great, but just not right now.
