Whenever the God mode comes around, here's a couple of things to keep in mind. - Her C6 is worded poorly. When u start a charge atk half her Def is added to her atk Stat in the character Stat screen, which means u can apply C6 to her burst if u do it quickly after her charge atk ends. -4pc pale flame is good but can be a tad inconsistent since her shield disintegrates, so 2pcbloodstained/2pcpaleflame could prove more consistent. - even tho she's a 4 ☆, she does possess some very high multipliers for her normal attacks. So the preferred team I run is Xinyan, Rosaria, Electro (either Fischl or Kuki), then Yunjin.

However, I reckon they didn't have the tech they introduced with Layla/Shenhe yet, so they did a bit of a hack to get it work. And so you can dash cancel to apply it to other things. But they won't rework her to fix it, because A) it isn't like it'll make her OP, and B) if they did fix that, then people would be asking why they don't fix one of the multitude of other dumb things in her kit as well ;) Anyway, my team is similar to yours, except I use Shenhe instead of Rosaria, and then Layla instead of Yunjin as the 4th, since mine is about the spin-to-win.
i was so surprised when i found out people don’t like xinyan. i always found her kit very handy and a good support for anyone, despite its flaws. i realized it matches her character story perfectly, she was born disadvantaged and constantly deals with hate and criticism, but she uses her music to fight prejudice and she always stays true to herself. just like rock n’ roll, the people that hate are just never going to get it, but the ones that like it know how powerful it really is, and are very dedicated. to the xinyan mains, we stay winning. rock on!

Xynian "best" team is actually mono pyro, her, Bennet, Kazuha and Xiangling are actually pretty good, specially if her and Bennet are C6. It would be a good team for the god mode
It’s good, yeah, but not really her “best” considering you’re ignoring all her buffs and traits. Physical DPS or phys support are still her bread and butter

As a xinyan main. Mono pyro xinyan isn’t as good, her whole kit has buffs to her phys damage and even with her burst the most damage she does is from the physical hit. Every xinyan main known to man will run physical on her since it’s just all around her best.
The attack buff from her c6 is not just for the charged attacks, it just increases your attack after performing a charged attack, you can test it by doing a charged attack and then look at her stats. Doing a charged attack before using her burst will increase the dmg of her burst.
She won't get buffed, because Hoyoverse really doesn't want to do direct post-release balance tweaks. Hopefully, someday they'll add a storyline quest for her that unlocks a recipe for a craftable four star claymore, one that gives a Shenhe/Yunjin style bonus to physical damage based on def. Basically, a variant of the Redhorn designed for her, to always be available for her.
While she isn't spectacular, I do feel she's underrated. She isn't as terrible as people make out. She just has some strange stat priorities, and is too confusing for most people to build or find value with.
The thing is that she really is as terrible as most people think of her. With how dumb double scaling is, how underwhelming phys is currently, how clunky her kit is and how a pyro phys character requires 2 other characters to proc superconduct she doesn't really have a place among the better characters
I love xinyan she is the second character I crowned after Noelle, she is super overheated but that was because early game people didn't like her weird scaling's, but she is a pretty good character if you build her properly and she's pretty versatile
My Xinyan is lv.90 with 9/9/9 talents and Friendship 10. In fact, she's what got me back into the game as I first stopped playing because I thought it was boring (yes, you read that right: _Xinyan_ got me back into Genshin, _not_ Zhongli). When Redhorn Stonethresher rolls back around, I plan on getting one so I can give it to her. I've also used Xinyan for a total of maybe 2 hours. _I regret nothing._
I use Xinyan in my Liyue team some times & she got me out of some tough spots. So she's not that bad of a character if you build her the way you need her to be.
I have never seen anyone using bolide set on Xinyan. For physical there's 2 pale flame 2 bloodstained chivalry, and for pyro there's ether lavawalker or 2 crimson witch 2 gladiator. As for the teams, I used to play Zhongli Yunjin Bennett Xinyan, for normal attack build, but than I c6-ed my Bennett, so I use Bennett Xiangling Kazuha Xinyan. Overall, Xinyan is probably my second favourite character after Tartaglia, and she was one of my first triple crowned characters.
AAAAA I'm so happy to see you finally raise her!!!! I've been maining her since sometime between 2.0 and 2.5 and recently just about perfected her build! I always find it really sad when she gets underappreciated as a solid dps, so thank you for giving her the recognition she deserves!
@@ussxrequin oooo ok I can explain this, so you want to focus on physical dmg and crit as her def stat is only good for a shielder, which I dont recommend, or if you have her at c6, if you're arent doing or dont have either of those you can completely ignore def, which only leaves physical dmg, atk, and crit like every other character, anyways hope this helped! Edit: just remembered she also does not care at all for pyro dmg, she only does it with her shield, which is really only good for the physical dmg buff is provides, and technically the extremely tiny amount in her burst
Xinyan's c6 actually gives her an atk bonus based on her defense when she does a charge attack, rather than just making her charge attacks stronger based on her defense. The translation is quite inaccurate. You can test this out by holding charge attack and opening her stats seeing the atk increase. One tip is to hold charge then burst before the end animation finishes to profit off of the atk bonus. Sincerely a Redhorn Xinyan main
Appreciate this video a lot. Xinyan was one of the first characters I got when I started and I really liked her character and playstyle but then there was so much hate in the community for her which made me use other characters more. She's a fun character and her playstyle is a bit weird and very unique, but she gets way too much hate. I think it does tie into an enhanced form of how a lot of vocal players really care about meta and characters that are more balanced, not as meta, get a lot of hate for not being the OP character people expect them to be.
@@sinematic06 I recommend checking out gibbb here on youtube if you are interested - great showcase every Abyss, uses different teams and has pretty strong Xinyan as well. I think he mostly has 2p2p and switching around depending on the team.
@@sinematic06 IIRC 2p crimson, 2p atk%, and/or 2p/2p atk% work pretty well. though with benny and kazu, 4p lavawalker might improve her damage more than 2p/2p. also, unfortunately xinyan can't make full use of 4p crimson as she can only get 1 stack of its extra pyro dmg%, and in mono pyro the rest of the 4p isn't being used..
C2 Xinyan prefers a 1:3 crit ratio due to her burst always critting, meaning crit dmg is way more helpful and is the source of most of her dmg. This doesn't mean you shouldn't invest into crit rate at all, since she still gets a lot of dps from her NAs. I have SoBP and around 54 cr 120 cd, and she hit 120k with benny buff in event once
Xinyan with Kazuha is awesome. A while ago, just for the challenge, I tried Xinyan, Kazuha, Mona, Fischl, just because they were together in an event before. What more reason could one need ;) To my surprised it had a pretty high dmg ceiling, even with horrible gear on her. My primary use for her is pyro-application/particles and shield/shield-break (she's quite good at that).
Yuh finally One of my favorite characters in the game personality and design wise I can’t wait to someday get her c6 so I can main her. Also hoyo giving both the pyro claymore girls weird kits so both are being called the worst of their categories 😭
xinyan my beloved! triple crowned and proud, baby! i love using her. it’s so satisfying. she can hit up to 16k autos or so with just r1 serpent spine! once i get rosaria’s c6 i’ll definitely try that out, but for now i’ve been using her solo whenever i enter co-op! my record was a 144k burst thanks to a cracked bennett in co-op! (on scara’s downed form)
My second triple crown. I have three different builds for her depending on how I feel like using her. My Redhorn 2PF/2BS for Beyblading, my pure Def shieldbot, and my EM Burgeon build for some Dendro fun.
Ik she's not meta, like not in the slightest, but sucrose and her are my fav 4 stars, she is so fun to play, and she's a decent physical dps, or strong burst dps!! I dont get why she has so much hate, maybe because compared to razor, her element isn't as favored for a physical character.
If you go either the ATK or DEF way and not focusing on balancing both, she's actually very playable. I tried borrowing Yunjin's DEF artis and she works splendidly
The fact that she can be a good phyisical unit, can be a good pyro unti, can be a physical support, is the second best option for Burgeon after Thoma just makes me proud to main her. She can fill a multitude of roles thanks to her design, but that also makes her unremarkable in everything she does. Maybe except for the fact that with high investment and a Redhorn, her DEF build makes her both a good DPS (pyro/physical) and a tank. Ofc even that isn't really remarkable either, that's the same thing physical Zhongli does. Maybe that's why I main both of them, I like their ability to be the frontman for the team and also deal good DPS.
I haven’t raised her but read her character story it’s kinda wholesome. The stuff she had to go through seems relatable for people who have experienced racism
WOW I never paid attention to Xinyan's constellations, they are so fricking awesome and all constellations make real difference like when she has 100% crit rate with her burst and get a level 3 shield afterwards is really broken! Recently needed a pyro on my alt and after using her for a while I started to like Xinyan a lot
xinyan was my early game main and she did her job just fine :o) she doesn't deserve all of that unnecessary hate, she's versatile which can be good! some people just don't know how to build characters that aren't just, one important stat only i guess

i raised xinyan because i was tired of seeing people talk bad about her. she has now turned out to be one of my favourite characters to play. she took some investment for sure but i love playing her now. i love taking her into co op and showing people that she can do big dmg as well
@@angela.luntian one thing that I noticed is that the Shield bug is more prone to activate if you use a Sacrificial Greatsword. I don't know for sure, it seems that the Skill reset actually resets the number of enemies hit as well (and so sets the Shield to the lowest level) ; with the Snow-Tombed Starsilver I didn't really notice the bug (maybe it kicked some times but not in a CONSISTENT way like with the Sac). On the other hand, in some rather rare occasions her Burst doesn't spend Energy (usually when there's a lot of creatures and particle effects on screen, at least that's what happened to me - maybe the game doesn't register the consumption due to some kind of lag) and can be used it twice in a row.
I've been using Xinyan as a burst dps for quite awhile. Built for crit dmg>phys>def. Read her burst description thoroughly. It's an autocrit at c2, but it's based on her phys dmg and her shield scales with the skill even when you get it from the burst. I have her at 9>10>10 and consistently get 80k+ crits from her burst on EVERY enemy it hits. Against single target mobs she's just meh, but against groups she's a force to be reckoned with. You're right tho. You don't have the right artifacts for her.
Xinyan is my first character I invested in and raised, till AR 45 she was my main. Yes I recognized that she has a mediocre kit at best. But she's extremely adorable even back when she wasn't featured in the game story. I still play with her occasionally. Because I love her like that
Focusing Def on Xinyan is 100% worth it for a physical build. The charge attack damage increase is actually pretty big, and combined with the Whiteblind or Redhorn, can lead to actually really solid damage.
Her c6 is a misstranslation She gains an atk buff equal to half her def once she charge atk and a few seconds after the charge atk she keeps the buff So to make burst do most dmg at c6 U wanna charge atk into burst So when u said double geo double pyro does more than super conduct i think that was wrong 1 u had bennet in double pyro who u can still use in a super conduct team 2 u did a charge atk b4 burst in double geo double pyro team but didnt do that for superconduct
I get why people don't like her, but she holds a special place in my heart, and thus I triple crowned her. Granted, I haven't used her in a while, but she used to accompany my Abyss teams as a physical, and her spin-to-win did the job quite nicely.
Xinyan is actually good for a normal attack comp, especially when paired with Yunjin. It's just that normal attacks isn't where the most damage is and people tend to "chase big numbers".... Even though the game is still fun without "meta hunting".

Is that a new character? I jk my friend also mains her and its my favorite joke when I talk about her. As a Thoma main I can't really dis spinyan too hard though. I wonder if she can have weird burgeon teams with like rainslasher or something
omg no hate to you but if i were your friend i’d be so annoyed, especially considering thoma. and yes! she does a really nice burgeon, though i’ve only tried it in co-op with a childe, nahida and kokomi. however, it’s best to have c2 in case it breaks, as unlike thoma hers doesn’t refresh naturally. it also guarantees the lvl 3 shield for application without the opponent limit (honestly i feel like thoma was their attempt at making xinyan’s role but fixing the wonky parts like having to hit a certain amount of enemies and sort of split scaling as well. so thoma and xinyan mains we have 🤝 solidarity. but hey, at least it means she can have a bunch of separate builds, like burst support, phys dps… and that totally makes up for how they did her dirty! right? …right? ;-;)
As a ✨Professional Xinyan Main✨(credentials: c3, triple crowned, max friendship) and here are some things I have to say: Her best artifact set would actually be 2pcBloodStained/2pcPaleFlame as a main dps For Xinyan’s best weapon it would either be Itto’s weapon or Eula’s weapon For teams, Mono pyro with Xinyan, Bennett, Kazuha and Xiangling but for superconduct I like running (while a VERY unusual team that only I use lmao) Xinyan, Zhongli, Ganyu and Kuki And the best way to play her is spinyan, aka, mainly using her charged attacks as they have High multipliers Anyways great video and i’m happy Xinyan is now getting the attention she deserves :D
xinyan main solidarity 🤝 tbh what i’ve been running (i don’t have c6 rosaria yet) is eula as a support where i have her help with superconduct and the phys shred, and then just go ham with xinyan. i want to try it with yun jin, fischl, eula and xinyan as the dps, but the issue is eula’s burst cost djsjdj for the most part though i use her in co-op on bosses and stuff, where i don’t choose the party. i should really try out monopyro!!😊
There are actually a lot of ways to build her. But a lot of her builds require you to have certain constellations. She has a nice Burgeon build since dendro EM and ER a must in that build, Phys Burst build crit damage and ER, and Def based spin to win C6 build. Also people forget that DEF will actually make your shield last longer, DEF reduces damage you take, and that applies to shields, he shield is actually very strong if you do the DEF build on her and she is the one on field most of the time you are practically invincible.
@Moga So I myself was a Xinyan main till AR45, and I still use her as a burst support on my Eula team. Let me tell you some of the better builds for her. For burst support, 2 piece pale flame, 2 piece bloodstained. This is better than 4 piece pale flame because you get the benefit without having to stack her elemental skill hits. Which on pale flame just doubles the 2 piece bonus, which you now get from the 2 piece bloodstained. Best weapon is Akuoumaru for this build, but you can also use sea lord, for a 5 star, skyward, wolf's, or redhorn are all pretty good. Her stats should be as much crit damage as possible and don't care about crit rate, ER and attack % are also important. On a Eula team you also want Rosaria and your electro of choice, but Fischl is a good option, the best electro for the team though is Kuki for a healer. You want to start with Kuki E then a Rosaria E, Eula E, then Xinyan E-Q combo, then Rosaria Q-E, then Eula E-Q Normals, then 3rd E before her Q pops. This build can also be slotted into a geo team too. For Main DPS Xinyan, Redhorn is BIS, with 2 piece sets from above, or 4 piece bloodstained(Slightly less damage, but higher sustain with charged attacks). You want at least 50% crit rate, with high crit damage, ER, and good amounts of DEF/attack%. With C6 and redhorn, Def% is about as good if not slightly better than attack% don't have just one or the other to avoid diminishing returns. Her best team mates would be Kaeya, Kuki, and (and this will sound funny) a full EM Gouro. Gouro will buff her def and provide crystalize shields during his burst that will be drawn to her and these shields will be stronger than Zhongli's. Next would be the Cryo build. Build her 4 piece blizzard, with High crit damage and 25-30% crit rate, good ER and a mix of Att% and Def%. Redhorn again is BiS. You will get a good amount of incidental melts, they won't be very high, but it's just bonus damage at this point. Her Q will still do good damage, but not exceptional. Best teamed with Chongyun, Shenhe, and Kazuha. Next is her alternate Main DPS build. 4 piece Shiminawa's. This one is all about her Charged attack damage. You will want a phys damage goblet, high crit rate/damage, and Def/attack. Once again Redhorn is BiS. Just E and spin to win. This build is not super effective, but kinda fun for high numbers of grouped enemies.
You can also try a 2pc Pale Flame/ 2pc Bloodstained Chilvalry for a flat +50% PhysDmg and as a weapon the craftable 4* Snow-Tombed Starsilver. The Passive Ability is not great on her (she will gain only the lower bonus of the Everfrost Icicle) but the weapon itself gives you another +34.5% PhysDmg. Of course, a PhysDmg Goblet is a must for this build.
I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SO HERE R SOME GENERAL TIPS FROM A XINYAN MAIN her shield is pretty bad, but it’s good for phys buffs. She can be used in eula team for buffing or as phys dps :) Best 5* weapon is redhorn (especially if she’s c6) bc the def is actually good for charged shots, if not then eula’s sword is good too Other than those, gravestone, archaic, almost any atk% or crit stat, is absolutely fine. Don’t need to raise her skill too much, but her normal and burst and a must! Artifacts, build with atk%, phys bonus, crit, and a little def is fine, again esp for c6 You can mix and match, 2pc pale flame, 2pc bloodstained 2pc any atk%, etc. doesn’t really matter, perosnally i like shimenawa + bloodstained. Team wise, monopyro is good with bennett (if c6 then just build her pyro ig), xiangling and zhongli, or you can use her with rosaria + electro applicator for superconducts. That’s about it, i’m so glad ur finally raising her !!

I think that c6 interaction is a bug so the wording holds up.
If it was a bug it would've been removed, especially since she's been around since 1.1.

Try her in Mono-Pyro with Bennett, Xiangling and Kazuha. But build as Pyro dps since her attack from beyblade would be Pyro.

In god mode, use redhorn since it has good passive, more def and damage buff to def, which she needs for c6
I love xinyan she is the second character I crowned after Noelle, she is super overheated but that was because early game people didn't like her weird scaling's, but she is a pretty good character if you build her properly and she's pretty versatile

My Xinyan is lv.90 with 9/9/9 talents and Friendship 10. In fact, she's what got me back into the game as I first stopped playing because I thought it was boring (yes, you read that right: _Xinyan_ got me back into Genshin, _not_ Zhongli). When Redhorn Stonethresher rolls back around, I plan on getting one so I can give it to her.
I've also used Xinyan for a total of maybe 2 hours.

as one of the three xinyan mains, this video is something i've been waiting for for such a long time!
I use Xinyan in my Liyue team some times & she got me out of some tough spots. So she's not that bad of a character if you build her the way you need her to be.
I have never seen anyone using bolide set on Xinyan. For physical there's 2 pale flame 2 bloodstained chivalry, and for pyro there's ether lavawalker or 2 crimson witch 2 gladiator.
As for the teams, I used to play Zhongli Yunjin Bennett Xinyan, for normal attack build, but than I c6-ed my Bennett, so I use Bennett Xiangling Kazuha Xinyan.
Overall, Xinyan is probably my second favourite character after Tartaglia, and she was one of my first triple crowned characters.
AAAAA I'm so happy to see you finally raise her!!!! I've been maining her since sometime between 2.0 and 2.5 and recently just about perfected her build! I always find it really sad when she gets underappreciated as a solid dps, so thank you for giving her the recognition she deserves!

@@ussxrequin oooo ok I can explain this, so you want to focus on physical dmg and crit as her def stat is only good for a shielder, which I dont recommend, or if you have her at c6, if you're arent doing or dont have either of those you can completely ignore def, which only leaves physical dmg, atk, and crit like every other character, anyways hope this helped! Edit: just remembered she also does not care at all for pyro dmg, she only does it with her shield, which is really only good for the physical dmg buff is provides, and technically the extremely tiny amount in her burst
Xinyan is a good burst dps. Don’t need to care about the shield.
Xinyan's c6 actually gives her an atk bonus based on her defense when she does a charge attack, rather than just making her charge attacks stronger based on her defense. The translation is quite inaccurate.
You can test this out by holding charge attack and opening her stats seeing the atk increase. One tip is to hold charge then burst before the end animation finishes to profit off of the atk bonus.

Xinyan was one of the first characters I got when I started and I really liked her character and playstyle but then there was so much hate in the community for her which made me use other characters more. She's a fun character and her playstyle is a bit weird and very unique, but she gets way too much hate. I think it does tie into an enhanced form of how a lot of vocal players really care about meta and characters that are more balanced, not as meta, get a lot of hate for not being the OP character people expect them to be.
I just don't get why she's split so much as atk/def/pyro/phys scaling. If she was better in that regard, I might use her.
I heard using one of her stronger teams is monopyro with c6 Bennett, Kazuha and Xiangling. You actually don't need any of her cons to pull it off

@@sinematic06 I recommend checking out gibbb here on youtube if you are interested - great showcase every Abyss, uses different teams and has pretty strong Xinyan as well. I think he mostly has 2p2p and switching around depending on the team.
@@sinematic06 IIRC 2p crimson, 2p atk%, and/or 2p/2p atk% work pretty well. though with benny and kazu, 4p lavawalker might improve her damage more than 2p/2p.
also, unfortunately xinyan can't make full use of 4p crimson as she can only get 1 stack of its extra pyro dmg%, and in mono pyro the rest of the 4p isn't being used..

C2 Xinyan prefers a 1:3 crit ratio due to her burst always critting, meaning crit dmg is way more helpful and is the source of most of her dmg. This doesn't mean you shouldn't invest into crit rate at all, since she still gets a lot of dps from her NAs.
I have SoBP and around 54 cr 120 cd, and she hit 120k with benny buff in event once

Xinyan with Kazuha is awesome. A while ago, just for the challenge, I tried Xinyan, Kazuha, Mona, Fischl, just because they were together in an event before. What more reason could one need ;) To my surprised it had a pretty high dmg ceiling, even with horrible gear on her. My primary use for her is pyro-application/particles and shield/shield-break (she's quite good at that).
i pray if you ever do aloy you read her passives and use her skill before her burst, i see so many people use her wrong it drives me mad

xinyan my beloved! triple crowned and proud, baby! i love using her. it’s so satisfying. she can hit up to 16k autos or so with just r1 serpent spine! once i get rosaria’s c6 i’ll definitely try that out, but for now i’ve been using her solo whenever i enter co-op! my record was a 144k burst thanks to a cracked bennett in co-op! (on scara’s downed form)
My second triple crown. I have three different builds for her depending on how I feel like using her. My Redhorn 2PF/2BS for Beyblading, my pure Def shieldbot, and my EM Burgeon build for some Dendro fun.
I love using her as a Burst Dps. (You need C2) Just give her a bunch of Crit Damage, the Lux Sea Lord or the Blackcliff and you're good to go
Ik she's not meta, like not in the slightest, but sucrose and her are my fav 4 stars, she is so fun to play, and she's a decent physical dps, or strong burst dps!! I dont get why she has so much hate, maybe because compared to razor, her element isn't as favored for a physical character.
If you go either the ATK or DEF way and not focusing on balancing both, she's actually very playable. I tried borrowing Yunjin's DEF artis and she works splendidly
i love burst bot Xinyan, she's really fun to use. in the future i'll try mono pyro with her to unleash her full potential
The fact that she can be a good phyisical unit, can be a good pyro unti, can be a physical support, is the second best option for Burgeon after Thoma just makes me proud to main her. She can fill a multitude of roles thanks to her design, but that also makes her unremarkable in everything she does. Maybe except for the fact that with high investment and a Redhorn, her DEF build makes her both a good DPS (pyro/physical) and a tank. Ofc even that isn't really remarkable either, that's the same thing physical Zhongli does. Maybe that's why I main both of them, I like their ability to be the frontman for the team and also deal good DPS.

WOW I never paid attention to Xinyan's constellations, they are so fricking awesome and all constellations make real difference like when she has 100% crit rate with her burst and get a level 3 shield afterwards is really broken! Recently needed a pyro on my alt and after using her for a while I started to like Xinyan a lot

xinyan was my early game main and she did her job just fine :o) she doesn't deserve all of that unnecessary hate, she's versatile which can be good! some people just don't know how to build characters that aren't just, one important stat only i guess

i raised xinyan because i was tired of seeing people talk bad about her. she has now turned out to be one of my favourite characters to play. she took some investment for sure but i love playing her now.

@@angela.luntian one thing that I noticed is that the Shield bug is more prone to activate if you use a Sacrificial Greatsword. I don't know for sure, it seems that the Skill reset actually resets the number of enemies hit as well (and so sets the Shield to the lowest level) ; with the Snow-Tombed Starsilver I didn't really notice the bug (maybe it kicked some times but not in a CONSISTENT way like with the Sac).
On the other hand, in some rather rare occasions her Burst doesn't spend Energy (usually when there's a lot of creatures and particle effects on screen, at least that's what happened to me - maybe the game doesn't register the consumption due to some kind of lag) and can be used it twice in a row.
I've been using Xinyan as a burst dps for quite awhile. Built for crit dmg>phys>def. Read her burst description thoroughly. It's an autocrit at c2, but it's based on her phys dmg and her shield scales with the skill even when you get it from the burst. I have her at 9>10>10 and consistently get 80k+ crits from her burst on EVERY enemy it hits. Against single target mobs she's just meh, but against groups she's a force to be reckoned with.
You're right tho. You don't have the right artifacts for her.
for her god mode, you should give her redhorn and 2pc pale 2pc bloodstained because its more consistent than hoping you get full stacks of her shield
Xinyan is my first character I invested in and raised, till AR 45 she was my main. Yes I recognized that she has a mediocre kit at best. But she's extremely adorable even back when she wasn't featured in the game story. I still play with her occasionally. Because I love her like that
Focusing Def on Xinyan is 100% worth it for a physical build. The charge attack damage increase is actually pretty big, and combined with the Whiteblind or Redhorn, can lead to actually really solid damage.

Her c6 is a misstranslation
She gains an atk buff equal to half her def once she charge atk and a few seconds after the charge atk she keeps the buff
So to make burst do most dmg at c6

1 u had bennet in double pyro who u can still use in a super conduct team
2 u did a charge atk b4 burst in double geo double pyro team but didnt do that for superconduct
I get why people don't like her, but she holds a special place in my heart, and thus I triple crowned her. Granted, I haven't used her in a while, but she used to accompany my Abyss teams as a physical, and her spin-to-win did the job quite nicely.

Xinyan is actually good for a normal attack comp, especially when paired with Yunjin.
It's just that normal attacks isn't where the most damage is and people tend to "chase big numbers".... Even though the game is still fun without "meta hunting".
I use xinyan as a phys support in my dps qiqi team and it is very fun!
Xinyan was my first 4 star even before noelle and she has a special place in my heart and even helped me with spiral abyss at times

omg no hate to you but if i were your friend i’d be so annoyed, especially considering thoma. and yes! she does a really nice burgeon, though i’ve only tried it in co-op with a childe, nahida and kokomi. however, it’s best to have c2 in case it breaks, as unlike thoma hers doesn’t refresh naturally. it also guarantees the lvl 3 shield for application without the opponent limit
(honestly i feel like thoma was their attempt at making xinyan’s role but fixing the wonky parts like having to hit a certain amount of enemies and sort of split scaling as well. so thoma and xinyan mains we have 🤝 solidarity. but hey, at least it means she can have a bunch of separate builds, like burst support, phys dps… and that totally makes up for how they did her dirty! right? …right? ;-;)

As a ✨Professional Xinyan Main✨(credentials: c3, triple crowned, max friendship) and here are some things I have to say:
Her best artifact set would actually be 2pcBloodStained/2pcPaleFlame as a main dps
For Xinyan’s best weapon it would either be Itto’s weapon or Eula’s weapon
For teams, Mono pyro with Xinyan, Bennett, Kazuha and Xiangling but for superconduct I like running (while a VERY unusual team that only I use lmao) Xinyan, Zhongli, Ganyu and Kuki
And the best way to play her is spinyan, aka, mainly using her charged attacks as they have High multipliers

tbh what i’ve been running (i don’t have c6 rosaria yet) is eula as a support where i have her help with superconduct and the phys shred, and then just go ham with xinyan. i want to try it with yun jin, fischl, eula and xinyan as the dps, but the issue is eula’s burst cost djsjdj
for the most part though i use her in co-op on bosses and stuff, where i don’t choose the party. i should really try out monopyro!!😊
There are actually a lot of ways to build her. But a lot of her builds require you to have certain constellations. She has a nice Burgeon build since dendro EM and ER a must in that build, Phys Burst build crit damage and ER, and Def based spin to win C6 build. Also people forget that DEF will actually make your shield last longer, DEF reduces damage you take, and that applies to shields, he shield is actually very strong if you do the DEF build on her and she is the one on field most of the time you are practically invincible.

@Moga So I myself was a Xinyan main till AR45, and I still use her as a burst support on my Eula team. Let me tell you some of the better builds for her.
For burst support, 2 piece pale flame, 2 piece bloodstained. This is better than 4 piece pale flame because you get the benefit without having to stack her elemental skill hits. Which on pale flame just doubles the 2 piece bonus, which you now get from the 2 piece bloodstained. Best weapon is Akuoumaru for this build, but you can also use sea lord, for a 5 star, skyward, wolf's, or redhorn are all pretty good. Her stats should be as much crit damage as possible and don't care about crit rate, ER and attack % are also important.
On a Eula team you also want Rosaria and your electro of choice, but Fischl is a good option, the best electro for the team though is Kuki for a healer. You want to start with Kuki E then a Rosaria E, Eula E, then Xinyan E-Q combo, then Rosaria Q-E, then Eula E-Q Normals, then 3rd E before her Q pops.
This build can also be slotted into a geo team too.
For Main DPS Xinyan, Redhorn is BIS, with 2 piece sets from above, or 4 piece bloodstained(Slightly less damage, but higher sustain with charged attacks). You want at least 50% crit rate, with high crit damage, ER, and good amounts of DEF/attack%. With C6 and redhorn, Def% is about as good if not slightly better than attack% don't have just one or the other to avoid diminishing returns.
Her best team mates would be Kaeya, Kuki, and (and this will sound funny) a full EM Gouro. Gouro will buff her def and provide crystalize shields during his burst that will be drawn to her and these shields will be stronger than Zhongli's.
Next would be the Cryo build. Build her 4 piece blizzard, with High crit damage and 25-30% crit rate, good ER and a mix of Att% and Def%. Redhorn again is BiS. You will get a good amount of incidental melts, they won't be very high, but it's just bonus damage at this point. Her Q will still do good damage, but not exceptional.
Best teamed with Chongyun, Shenhe, and Kazuha.
Next is her alternate Main DPS build. 4 piece Shiminawa's. This one is all about her Charged attack damage. You will want a phys damage goblet, high crit rate/damage, and Def/attack. Once again Redhorn is BiS. Just E and spin to win.
This build is not super effective, but kinda fun for high numbers of grouped enemies.
You can also stack crit dmg and ignore the crit rate and do a bunch of burst damage
You can also try a 2pc Pale Flame/ 2pc Bloodstained Chilvalry for a flat +50% PhysDmg and as a weapon the craftable 4* Snow-Tombed Starsilver. The Passive Ability is not great on her (she will gain only the lower bonus of the Everfrost Icicle) but the weapon itself gives you another +34.5% PhysDmg. Of course, a PhysDmg Goblet is a must for this build.

I love her ultimate. Just stack as much physical damage and crit damage (C2 100% crit rate) and rock N roll non stop.
I doubt that you would go back to Xinyan, but Mono pyro is better on Xinyan than Vaporize Xinyan.

her shield is pretty bad, but it’s good for phys buffs. She can be used in eula team for buffing or as phys dps :)
Best 5* weapon is redhorn (especially if she’s c6) bc the def is actually good for charged shots, if not then eula’s sword is good too
Other than those, gravestone, archaic, almost any atk% or crit stat, is absolutely fine.
Don’t need to raise her skill too much, but her normal and burst and a must!
Artifacts, build with atk%, phys bonus, crit, and a little def is fine, again esp for c6
You can mix and match, 2pc pale flame, 2pc bloodstained 2pc any atk%, etc. doesn’t really matter, perosnally i like shimenawa + bloodstained.
Team wise, monopyro is good with bennett (if c6 then just build her pyro ig), xiangling and zhongli, or you can use her with rosaria + electro applicator for superconducts.
That’s about it, i’m so glad ur finally raising her !!
