What other types of thread do you suggest using if I don't have easy access to sashiko thread? Is knitting yarn suitable? I heard that embroidery floss isn't good because you can see the individual strand.
Some people use pearl cotton. It's somewhat similar, but has a sheen that sashiko thread doesn't have.
May I know what fabric you used? Linen?
