I like the fact you sweep the legs to the side and end up in side control and one more advantage by sweeping the legs to the side it takes away the threat of the Guillotine Choke which makes this a very effective takedown..Great
Nice technique! I'm more comfortable with the variation where you go forward and simply make the opponent fall on his back. Thank you for posting this video!
Thanks for your comment steve. We have other videos showing the application you describe and will have another newer video on that application on our channel at a later date.
Sou do Brasil.
Parabéns pela sua técnica

I agree. After throwing the opponent and finishing with side control is a strong aspect of this technique. Thanks for your comment.

For me this technique should be practiced much more in the dojos..... Good Steve 💪
Thank you for your comment Luca. I completely agree.
Forgive if I’m wrong on this but, shouldn’t the person doing the move be more upright? Taking a shot like this leaves you very vulnerable to a sprawl.
That is always a possibility.
I taught this move to my kids, too bad Judo remove leg grabs since this is traditional moves and much more effective to go to the ground.
I agree!
