TRUST ME GUYS I BEG YOU PLEASE TRUST ME... I am a practicing lawyer at Calcutta High Court from past 1 year now... TRUST ME these will not at all work Moot courts will just help you in you flow of English, this is not the way how judges and advocates talk. They always use legal terms like impunged order, your lordship was pleased to pass etc etc. if you really want to learn please visit your state high courts or do internships.

@@ishashrivastava2024 If you take my opinion then, keep applying from the 1st year itself. There is no specific time. Always target tier 1 law firms, They will reject you initially but you won't give up. Keep trying, keep pushing and don't reject any internship offer, trust me it will help u a lot.

@@yuvrajkannojiya9666 nothing and basically nlu's final aim is to make u a corporate lawyer ..if u r interested in corporate life..fine but people who are here for arguement litigations etc ...can go to any law college and learn the basics of law and how things work and about internship you can even apply to a High Court Judge (if they allow obviously) . If your relative or parent happens to be a High Court Judge never miss an oppurtunity..attend every intern you will get a push from them

These moot courts are misleading to law students. Visit district courts and High court, see how work is done there. Observe the procedure and see how young and senior lawyers argue in courts. Itni lambi bahas nhi chalti he courts me. Also court me kabhi bhi law nahi quote karte he judge ko.

Upon observing the contrast between the moot competition organized by Indian law colleges and Harvard University, one cannot help but notice a glaring difference in discipline. Unlike the meticulous instructions meticulously laid out before commencement - from the prohibition of electronic devices and photography to the expectation of remaining in the court during arguments - it becomes evident that certain standards are upheld by these esteemed law institutions. It's disheartening, albeit not surprising, that such meticulousness is often lacking elsewhere. These seemingly minor yet significant gestures not only speak volumes about the professionalism, discipline, and standards upheld by these institutions but also highlight the aspirations of Indian students to pursue education abroad.
