Hello! I just subscribed. I enjoyed the video. I work as a Functional Analyst too but I'm mainly doing app support, solving tickets, making manuals, etc. But never got a chance to do actual "requirement gathering" or creation of user stories. So, from one colleague to another, can you teach us how you would do an actual "hands-on" case of the ones mentioned? Keep going! :)
Thanks for the nice feedback:) As mentioned, I also worked as application support analyst before this job, and I see it is different than what I am doing today. But thank you for your suggestion, I will definitely make another video on it.
Hi! loved the video i actually want to understand better the difference between the BUSINESS analyst and the FUNCTIONAL analyst i cant seem to understand it could you explain please?
Thank you :) For the difference, business analyst is like umbrella that contains functional analysts. In business you might have analyze operations, supply chain etc. that could get very technical with data but for functional analysts its limited to supporting software development in a way.
I don't have one yet, but both functional analyst and consultant profiles are the same with minor differences as one is consulting. But thank you for the idea, I will try to make one soon with a (consultant) friend of mine :)
Hey, congratulations for your internship:) To compare the pay scale between developer and FA, initially it wouldn’t be that different but in future it really depends on how you grow. e.g. if as FA if you become a platform owner for a small team then you will lead developers and you could earn higher than a senior developer but if you remain FA or become senior FA then depending on the dev team, a senior developer could also earn higher. So to conclude, it depends but you will understand what you want to do once you spend sufficient time doing the job:)
Brother Me & my friend coming to Brussels on 24 Dec eve. Will reach brussels at 17:00 we need temporary stay can you please tell who can give us temporary stay of maximum 24 Dec to 5-6th of Jan. Stay can be anywhere like in Brussels, Leuven, Mechelen, Duffel, Antwerp.
1. PM is for the products that a company is selling for the outside customers, where PM has get involved with marketing and sales teams along with the product developers. 2. PO owns a platform that is used by internal employees/customers and because it is internal, they don't deal with sales and marketing unless they are one of the targeted stakeholders. 3. BA analyses business data (data could be for sales, marketing, finance etc.) and suggest a potential decision. They usually work under PM or PO. But overall BA is a very broad category which can include functional analysts or sometimes even consultants under it. I hope it is clear :)

I have been offered the same role internship for 15k. in future does this role pay similar to other roles like developer/data/engineer ?
Hey, congratulations for your internship:)

So how is PM PO and BA different😊
