portuguese native speaker here: let me give you some tips about my language DON'T USE SENHOR OR SENHORA!! don't focus on formal speaking. we, Brazilians, are really really informal with everybody, even people we don't know. "Senhor" or "Senhora" are reaaaally formal ways to call somebody. don't use that. we only say it for really old people, like grandpa ou grandma, but is still rare. calling a adult lady "senhora" can sound like you're calling her old.... and that's offensive. people that are working for you may call you senhora, like a waitress, for example. but it's rare, they use more "Moça" or "Moço" (means like young lady, young man") so use the word VOCÊ (you), is better, can be polite (depends of the phrase) and will not put you in trouble😅😅
that's super different with portugal portuguese, it's actually "rude" calling someone você and we are usually very formal with older people/people we don't know!

Very interesting lingo pie. I used to do same system w my ( intermediate / advanced level) Spanish I'd look up docu on interesting topic and get the subtitles in spanish and a dictionary at hand and I look slow down and pause and look at the whole transcript if it became too difficult or too fast spoken....this way of studying languages actually works!!!
I’m also studying 3 languages. Spanish, Korean and Arabic. I take at least 30 minutes on each language. And I add more time if needed. Lately I’ve had the willpower to review and study

I think Puerto Rican spanish accent could fit what you're looking for. There's also a book for Kindle called Puerto Rican Spanish One Word At A Time by Timothy Banse that can help you with some Puerto Rican slang

when you were reading the book i was like "oh, this must be a very classic book" like the atmosphere of the sentences that you read make me feel that but then when you show the book cover i laughed so damn hard 😭😭😭😭
Smart speakers help to practice a language, and if you don't understand something you can open Google translate click on the mic icon and translate whatever the speaker says, I find Google nest to be better because it has more languages than Alexa, but aside from that they're very similar, however when it comes to the Russian language using Yandex' smart assistant Alissa it's a different experience, it almost feels human and I learn so much from her
