😍😍😍😍😍😍 This is by far the most beautiful RV I have ever seen!!!! Whoa!!!! You got some amazing talent!! I can’t wait to design my C Class Honey with many of your ideas!!! 🥰 thank you!!
Your snoozing hound on the sofa cracked me up. Very happy hound in the sun on the sofa. Reminded me of beloved traveling hounds I’ve had who loved “their” RV and snoozing in sunspots on “their” sofa. Y’all did a fine job remodeling your RV. Enjoy.
Hands down - Gold Medalist in the renovation Olympics. You guys are so creative, artistic and talented - incredible and so inspiring! Thank you for sharing your magnificent home!
I look at renovated rv's all the time, this is the most beautiful, homey, light filled & spacious I have seen to date!! That rv would be my dream come true! Excellent job.
Having read your story of 2020, I am delighted to see you in good spirits. I know you are going to transcend into home based trips and that is great because your 'home ' on wheels is truly beautiful as are you both. God bless. David Palm Springs
Hello, Recently I installed a litter tub under our bed, and installed some stick on tile in the kitchen and bath room, I like the door with the tin and barn wood. Enjoyed your Vogel video also we have camped and hiked those trails for so many years. Looking forward to more of your videos, it fun to watch other videos from Georgia. See ya out there.
Thanks! I got them at Michaels a few years ago. I think they may have similar ones - or you can search google or Amazon for something like "wood chalkboard crate".
My new rv furniture is being saved from my cats destoying it with cat nail tips. Pet smart will apply if you don't feel you can. Another plus.. less legs scratches as well.. :) And your rv is just sooo beautiful!!
Oh my gosh I forgot about those, but that's a great tip! I actually used those on Duckie for the first couple years I had him (he's 12 now). They did work great and he has been pretty good and sticking to his scratching post... until those chairs came along.
Gorgeous home! A tip for getting your kitties to stop scratching your chairs or any furniture is to provide them a scratching post and teach them to use it...and only it. I have two cats who do not scratch any of my furniture. It took only a few days to train my older cat, but I had to reiterate the lesson for about a year (probably because I didn't start training her until she was two years of age). It took about a week for the younger one to have her lightbulb moment, but not once have I had to reinforce for her (but I started training her at 16 weeks). Every time one of your cats scratches where they shouldn't, pick them up, take them to their scratcher, take their paws and scratch them along the scratcher (in effect, showing them what you want them to do). Praise them and walk away. Do this EVERY time they scratch anywhere but the scratching post...consistency on your part is the key. They are smart animals and catch on quickly. It's been nine years now and neither of my cats has scratched any piece of furniture or carpet that they shouldn't. Good luck!
Those are some great tips! Our cats are 12 years old and have always done pretty good but for some reason, we moved into the RV and Duckie (one of our cats) had a field day with those chairs! We actually keep the cardboard scratching posts on hand, which they use daily - they are the only kind they seem to like. And of course, Duckie knows he's not supposed to touch those chairs so he would only scratch them at night while we slept. That's also when he would snack on my plants. He's a sneaky one, haha.
@@Mountainmodernlife, Duckie sounds like my youngest cat! She's sneaky, too. LOL. While I have managed to train her not to scratch anywhere but her scratching post, she nightly cruises the kitchen counter after I am in bed knowing full well she is not suppose to be up there! Anyway, those throws look great over your chairs, so if that's the only place Duckie (love his name) is scratching that he is not suppose to, you're still winning!! Take good care!!
I decided to write a post instead, which I'll link to below if you want to check it out. We're still trying to figure out what to do with the channel moving forward... mountainmodernlife.com/goodbye-full-time-rv-living/
Hi your rig looks great! I am wondering did you have any problems with rounded bolts on the subfloor? We are first time RV owners putting vinyl planks down but there are several bolts that are not flush with the subfloor. Not sure what to do
Such an amazing renovation I love the fireplace with the TV vertical lift I'm thinking about something like that for my RV. Did you buy the fireplace or build it? If you bought it where did you buy it? If you built it did you do a video for it? Again amazing renovations!
Thanks! The fireplace is from Touchstone and we built the cabinet to fit the space. We don't have actual build plans or a complete tutorial, but do have a post and video that show some of the progress: mountainmodernlife.com/installing-tv-lift and ruclips.net/video/pMQN5d7e7wA/видео.html - Hope that helps :)
Thank you! I keep an extra remote on the fridge so it's easy to access to turn them off and on and just love how cozy they are! I got them from Amazon and there are tons of similar ones available, including being sold individually or as sets. I'll include the link to our Amazon store if you want to see the exact same ones: www.amazon.com/shop/mountainmodernlife
Do you have a video how you painted the seats? Mine are teal. And when you replaced the windshield curtains with a shade, what did you do to cover the side windows? I love the dog house cover. It's functional and cuts noise/heat
We don't have a video but do have a post on the chairs, which I'll include below, but my mom later reupholstered them for us (so they're not painted in the video). We also installed roller shades on the side windows :) mountainmodernlife.com/updated-rv-captains-chairs/
We bought them off Amazon - you can find tons of similar options by searching "Led Flame Light". We also link to the ones we bought in the description box :)

They are the Pendleton Spider Rock hand towels, I love them! You can get them through their website or other retailers - Amazon has them sometimes but it looks like they are sold out right now.
You said you used wood and flooring to replace your old dog house. Was there anything special you used to line the inside? I know it can get pretty hot under there.

Nope, no w/d which was almost a deal breaker but my husband told me he would do the laundry the entire time we were on the road - and that sold me, haha. We haven't heard from you in eleven months...can we get an update? Are you back on the road or have you decided to invest in a home? Hope you are both well!
I am watching this for the first time and looked to see other videos as well and see this was the last one they posted. I too wonder what happened to them?
