Need the rear extended about 10mm. And it looks like the front shocks aren’t doing the work they should, too much spring tension or too much shock oil.
This rig def needs some love. Gearing and shock tuning. Shocks are too long, and theyre easily unsettled. If ya can just swap out to some 2660 big bores
I dunno what to tell you man. I run that esc the team spec 540m on 3s, and it's so smooth. And the truck it's in is 8.68 lbs. It's never been programmed or tuned. I plugged it in guessed on an 11 tooth pinion and left it alone. Had a thought watching it bind, whats the c rating on your battery. I have noticed a difference in performance with a low c rating.
@@HobbyDrop Haha all good, My cars been decommissioned for about two months due to an esc and servo crapping out on me. I'm looking at the furitek python esc the one that can do brushed and brushless motors I remember you having one in your poizd, Did you like it it's been a minute.
@@HobbyDrop Yeah i was going to do the fusion se, But I've always just wanted an outrunner. I'll still likely just gonna get the fusion se hoping it goes on sale for prime day. It's going into a gspeed v4 fs on 10.3 axles and a chinese transmission. at a 12.8 wheelbase
Like the chassis but not big on Redcat, I haven't driven one, just not for me. Great lines and love the Red Rocks. Stay safe, my friend
@@WandererOfTheDesert I’m not a huge redcat guy either. But this ascent for the cost is a good rig. Now I’m just having fun with it haha
@HobbyDrop it's a great starter rig looked at them at Pro-Line looking for a rig for the wife. Maybe a build kit
@@WandererOfTheDesert kits are fun. I’ve only done one. But it was a good time
I know you want to support your friend's chassis but the DSM Offroad chassis is phenomenal and just makes the truck planted and stable
Thanks for sharing.
Great video, my dude

@@cardboardcrawlersrc8805 how would you suggest doing the extension?

@@DesertRockCrawler yeah they are still the stock ones. 2660s are the way to go no doubt. You’ve converted me to those
Either there is a gear bind somewhere through too loose or too tight or the motor combo has an issue.

I have a slight suspicion the cogging in binds might be, A ESC Settings, Or B Gearing like you said. But so far its a great video.
@@urbancrawler1459 yeah i need to plug it in. I’ve been slacking

@@urbancrawler1459 oh that sucks haha. Yeah it’s solid, I would just do a fusion 2 in 1 tho. Unless your build requires a small motor to fit.

@@urbancrawler1459 oh nice that sounds like a good rig! The fs is a good chassis
Cogging on a bind , perhaps you have your mesh too tight. Pinyon /spur
@@cardboardcrawlersrc8805 I have checked this. I’ve got a good mesh I believe :)
Haha I’m the first!!!
