Those of us that have been lucky enough to have a senior Schnauzer completely understand what you are going through. Lumps, bumps, Cushing’s, all of it…. We do everything we can to keep our fur babies healthy but sometimes there are things we can’t fix unfortunately.❤
You are the best Schnauzer Mom in the entire world ❤ I have learned so much from you as you have shared intimate details, for which I am truly grateful! We understand that now you have to do what you have to do! Nobody deserves to hear those negative comments. Prayers will continue as you do amazing things with your Fur-babies 😊
Hi Kim, thank you for posting. We are so pleased to see Marley looking so well and your positive outlook. Please continue updating us on the dogs and cats and grandson. Ignore the hateful comments from those who probably don't care about animals. You helped us so much to understand the health issues of our older Mini Schnauzer, Peanut and that they are prone to pancreatitis, etc. Thank you for that. We will always be grateful. On 7th August our 14 Yr old Toy Poodle, Billy passed away from a stroke. He missed my Mum so much because she had passed away on 25th March. Now they are reunited xx. We have our two young poodles called Donny and Big but I love watching the Schnauzers playing around and hearing all your news. I hope you stay strong and keep up all your great work xxx
Wow! Surprised me when your video popped up. So nice to hear you relaxed and cheerful. The great news about Marley put a smile on my face and other viewers too I suspect. :) My DIL put a tree and some of her decorations up yesterday too...lol....glad to have you back. As always hugs, kisses to the boys....all of them including Bennett❤😅
Kim I am so glad that circumstances allowed you to find Marley's enlarged spleen when you did. I had to euthanize one of my dogs because an xray showed her spleen was about to burst. There were absolutely no symptoms until my girl fell over when I let her outside. I rushed her to the emergency vet, but it was too late for her. After everything you've been through, I am so thankful this did not happen to you. Marley looks terrific! Kim you take great care of your dogs and schnauzers do have the problems you mentioned. Angel is my 7th schnauzer. I have encountered many of the problems you've mentioned. I'm sorry you are dealing with hurtful comments by people who don't understand. The medical information about your dogs that you have shared was extremely helpful to me when I dealt with Angel's gallbladder removal due to a mucocele. I wish you'd continue sharing the medical side of owning dogs, but I certainly support your reasons not to. Hugs and squeezies for little Bennett.
Hi Mom Schnauzer ❤I’m glad to hear that Marley is doing well. Please don’t listen to what people say. I believe you are doing great in taking care of your furry babies. People don’t understand that dogs get old like humans we have to deal with health issues. I’ve had experience of taking care of my senior Schnauzer. It’s been 2 years and we miss her so much.😢 Keep your spirits high you’re doing great 👍🏼
It’s so good to hear from you! I’m super glad to hear that Marley is doing better and the good news from all the biopsies! Yay for clean margins! Sweet boy!
It’s amazing how invested you can become in someone else’s dogs. I found myself checking every day for news about how Marley. There’s just something about Schnauzers. When you have Schnauzers, you just know exactly how it feels when somebody else’s Schnauzer is having medical issues. You worry about them like you would about a small child. In the 45 years that I’ve had Schnauzers, I’ve never had one with Cushings Disease, Diabetes or Pancreatitis. My first ones were from Texas, and all but one lived to be 16 -17 years old. The rest have been from Florida, and so far, none have lived to be more than 13. The ones from Texas seemed to be more prone to heart disease. Then again, they were all pretty old when they died, and the heart problems didn’t appear till they were 14-15 years old. I kinda think that a lot of the problems they have tend to be genetic, and aren’t caused necessarily by the breed, but the particular gene pool in the area they come from. Not many people go out of State to get a dog ( you generally see that when people are buying show dogs rather than pets). Whatever causes the problems doesn’t really matter. We raise our puppies, and we all do everything we possibly can to provide them with what they need to be healthy. Just like people, when old age comes along, there are going to be health issues. If it weren’t so, they’d never die - and that would suit me just fine, but, sadly, that isn’t ever the case. Some people are just insensitive - sadly that’s also a fact. I would think that it would be very helpful to be able to talk about the worry and anxiety you feel with people who understand how much it hurts to see an animal that you love suffering and also know that you would do just about anything to ease that suffering and make it better. We all have to play the cards we’re dealt. Those that don’t understand that, either have no heart or they just haven’t experienced it for themselves yet, but if they have a pet, that day will eventually come for them, too, and then they will understand. I’m so very glad that Marley is getting better and hope he has a few more happy years with you.
You are the best Schnauzer Mom in the world ❤ I have learned so many things from watching your videos. We are so sorry that you have to deal with the negative comments. Prayers continue as you enjoy life with your fur-babies 😊
Kim there are some rude and self entitled people who think they have the right to step in where they dont belong. Having 3 schnauzers ourselves we know there are things they are prone to and things sometimes just happen. You already do more than the average person does. We have learned by your sharing of your "babies" lives and issues that help us also. Thank you! Keep sharing! ❤
Oh my goodness Kim, You and the gorgeous doggies are certainly going through it at the moment. Let's hope and pray that from now on things get easier for you and the lovely doggies. Sending love to you and them ❤ xxxx
I appreciate all the updates I have all your guys in my prayers. I'm down to 4 miniature Schnauzers A few of my seniors have passed the past couple of years I have a 12-year-old two 13-year-olds in Sammy Sam is 14.
❤HI Kim Thank goodness 😅 for good dr. S I will keep praying 🙏 for all of the fur babies fingers crossed 🤞 always hugs 🤗 be safe xoxoxo 😊Hang in there Kim It’s never easy we love 💕 our fur babies soooo much so you take care enjoy your day.
Oh my, when it rains, it pours. When my kids (dogs) get sick, I use Gastro Elm, it’s been a life saving. Had my rescue toy schnauzer I had her teeth cleaned and she lost a lot of teeth remover . She is 8 (?). And Pepi is 6 going on 7. Just remember we love you, the boys and your new little grandson, never forget that. Hugs all around ❤❤❤❤❤
Hello, Kim, unfortunately, some people will make nasty comments that are very upsetting and on top of that, you guys have dealt with so much loss this year. I for one love, love listening to all the things that your fur babies go through because I learn so much from you. Please don't change your channel for people who don't appreciate all you do. The Schnauzers are getting older and health issues will arise; that's how it goes for all of us. I watch how you groom them and I tried it (you have talent!) I watch when you take them to the vet and when you fix special areas for them, celebrate their birthdays- all the extra things to make it better for them. I love your channel. Sending hugs to you, your family, and those precious furry babies!!!! ❤Don't ever change!!!!
It is so good to see Mr Marley! Prayers definitely answered. I am surprised Milo hasn't decided to try Bennett's swing. Love you and the boys. Ignore or block the mean people. Things happen. I lost my first schnauzer at 7 and my second at 10. Praying my third one lives forever! Mini schnauzers are the sweetest dogs with the best personalities. Every breed has issues. So happy hear your voice. Love the Christmas. You hav longer you enjoy it!
Kim, I am sorry about the comments you have received in regard to the health issues of your Schnauzers. The things that they have or had are very common, and Schnauzers are prone to these health issues. I for one have always supported you and everything you have shared has normal in regard to the breed. Please know you have done nothing wrong. You have gone above and beyond. You are a great mom to these boys and I support you and your family and everything you have done to keep them healthy. You cannot control the genetics of A schnauzer. Thank you for sharing and we always support you.
I like knowing the health of your schnauzers. Because I have one and it helps me to keep an eye on mine for those things. So to heck with those people that don't understand thank you for the new video
Kim, I'm so glad to hear all the good news for Marley...so good to hear from you...I always have you and the boys in NY prayers ❤...Glad to hear your positivity....in my investigation Schnauzers have alot of health issues...my dog is a schnauzer/Yorkie mix....please ignore those comments...you are a great Schnauzer mom...please take care of yourself and those precious boys..love to all..❤❤❤❤.❤❤❤ 🐾🐕🐾🐕🐾🐕🐾🐕
I'm so glad that Marley is doing so well! I think the increase in cancer cases, not only in animals, but in humans as well, is from all the chemicals in our food, environment, everywhere! As you know I lost my Pepper girl a few years ago to a very aggressive form of cancer. She, like Miggy died too soon. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a whole lot we can do to prevent cancer in our pets or human family members either. All we can do is do our best, and I know that you go above and beyond for your furbabies. Good to see a video from you. I know you have had the worst year possible. You know I've been praying for you. ((hugs))
Hello schnauzer mom how are you? Thank you for keeping us updated on your precious fur babies been absent a little bit trying to take care of business since my husband passed away. Sorry to hear all the stuff you’re going through. , don’t listen to the naysayers listen you have taught me a lot about my schnauzers. Sadie was diagnosed with cancer. She has heart conditions in which she takes medication twice a day and she still has a lot of spunk looking for another fur baby samson needs someone to play with Sadie doesn’t wanna play no more, she is 13yrs i’m dreading the day that this happens to her Kim you have been a god sent to me on things to look out for these are things that we cannot control things happen. They’re like humans our bodies give up. thank you from the bottom of my heart. We love your videos. They really love to watch the videos. They get at the edge of the bed and literally watched the TV they bark when they bark someday I’m gonna record that and send it to you. It’s just too funny. May God Bless you and your family, hang in there you’re doing good. Have a great Thanksgiving. Hopefully, I can send you another greetings for Christmas. 🤶 lots of love from San Antonio tx Sadie and Samson.❤🙏🏻
Kim, We are so happy you were able to post and give us the update on everyone. So grateful Marley is recovering, and it seems they’ve gotten all the cancer. Thank God.🙏🏻 I hope Magnum is doing better as well. BTW seeing the Christmas tree made me happy .This is such a beautiful time of the year. Enjoy every moment of it and God’s many blessings to you and your family and your boys.
Hello there Kim. It is always a pleasure hearing from you and seeing the boys. I'm so thankful and grateful that Marley is doing well and that you are feeling some better. I will definitely pray 🙏 for Magnum. Please give hug's 🤗 and kisses 💋 to the boys. Enjoy your day and take care
I have two Schnauzers aged 6 Baylee has Partial Focal Seizures (common for the breed) and had a spinal stroke (also common for the breed) earlier this year. The breed is prone to a lot of ailments and you look after and care for your boys so well stupidity was behind the negative comments … you were literally the inspiration behind me getting my Schnauzers
I watched you for many years. I have had 4 schnauzersin my life. Yes, as they age things pop up. Nothing you did. 13 is a good age. As they say "s..." happens. You are a great dog mom! Love your dogs!!! And you! 15:4015:40
In 2020 I put up Christmas tree the earliest I ever did (and I do early). So I put it up on November 1. I just felt the family needed a holiday in their life.
Thank you for giving us the update. I'm sorry some people don't know how to show compassion. Since you have chosen not to share medical issues, I respect your decision. I will continue to hold your babies in my prayers. If you ever need to reach out, I am here to listen and sympathize.
So happy to see you all again, and to hear good results for Marley. Wonder what Milo saw out there :D Missed you and the boys so much. Tree are beautiful, is it a new one? Praying for Magnum and blessing over the Schnauzer home.Hugs and kisses for the boys ❤
I’m so disappointed in the way people comment recklessly on our channels. I don’t blame you for not wanting to discuss the health issues. Thank you again for sharing the joys of your doggies. ❤😊
That is how I lost my schnauzie Kobi. The spleen tumor ( which we didn’t know she had) ruptured and she passed within 2 hours. She was only 5 months shy of being 11 years old. I was beyond myself. Good job getting this out of Marley’s body.
Glad to hear Marley is healing so well! On another note, I’m still waiting for you to one day get that GoPro (or whatever it was) on one of the dogs. I’d love to get a dog’s eye view of their world.
Just now getting to watch. Please don’t let these busybodies that know NOTHING about the love and amazing care your boys always get keep you from keeping us informed of all the highs and lows that come with raising schnauzers. They clearly know nothing about you or the breed itself. These sweet babies come with so many challenges. Our 14 yr old Theo has been blind from SARDS since he was 8…which is another issue they’re cursed with as well as having already had surgery twice for anal gland cancer. Owning one comes with its challenges but they’re so very worth it! Love your boys! 💙
My schnauzer had liver disease and Cushing’s. She died at 12 1/2. That’s the average age for a mini-schnauzer. I felt blessed to have her for that long.
Kim, thanks for the update on Marley and Magnum. I'm glad you put up a Christmas tree -- 'you need a little Christmas right this very minute' (to quote Auntie Mame). It's been a tough year for you and Tom. But that little Bennett will continue to brighten your days, as will Milo, Max, Magnum, and Marley. Sending prayers and lots of good thoughts to you and a big hug, too. Don't worry, You've got this. Karen
I just started following you about 6 months ago. You are amazing. I'm in Michigan also. My schnauzer will be 2 in a few weeks. She is the first one I've ever owned. All your information is very helpful in knowing about what this breed is prone true. Thank you!
Yes surprised me with video late before bed too! So happy for Marley and hope for the best. My dog Rags had tumor on tear leg as well which wasn't cancer but we removed it cause coild interfere with walking. Unfortunately his throat cancer not related was pretty much diagnosed as for sure terminal. Still difficult but we tried to do everything except try to put him through the radiation for more than likely nothing and his suffering. Miss him tremendously and have his pictures ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!😊❤ Take care Farrell family!!!❤❤❤🎉
Dogs aren’t robots. Dogs get old. Things happen. Please don’t let a few bad apples get to you. Those comments only matter if you let them. Thx for vid and updates. 🇨🇦
Happy to hear Marley is doing so well. Sorry that some people can be insensitive. I lost both my Schnauzers this year (within months of each other) one to pancrentitis and one to diabetes. They were 10 and 12. My very first Schnauzer also passed from pancrentitis at 12. Like you said certain breeds have certain illnesses that they are prone to. We recently rescued a lab mix from a shelter and he is so good. But when I am ready, even knowing and having gone through these illinesses with them, I will get another Schnauzer, they are just the best. I'm still grieving my boys. Continued prayers for your boys.
We lost one in May this year and the other one has been diagnosed with Cushing’s. We have been devastated since losing our Pepper. She was a gem! Rosie is hanging in there, will be 14 in January! Love watching!
Good to see you back. You put your Christmas decorations up whenever you want! It’s your house 😂 We put ours up in the first week of December usually, but we have put a real tree up for years which doesn’t last 2 months 😂 We take everything down on New Year’s Day or around that time. The year you have had I’m sure you’ll be glad to see Christmas and be glad to see the back of 2024 even more. Mr Grant lived a long life and was very well looked after in his later years and I’m sure he was very thankful. You have looked after all your boys and done your best for them. People are just cruel and need blocked. They don’t deserve to get seeing your boys. I can’t believe it’s been 6 months since Miggy already.
Hi Kim! I've been following along your Facebook updates, but I'm glad to see things have calmed down enough for you to be able to post a video! I missed your boys! I'm very glad to hear that things went well with Marley, and I hope for the same with Magnum too! Lord knows you need the rest! It's also perfectly understandable that you'd rather keep quiet about health updates of your boys from now on. All the comments from people, whether well-intentioned or not, can get really overwhelming. Either way, we're all here to support you and your family!
Mean people who asked "why they died?" They are unbelievable. They were old. And Miggy got cancer in middle age, not unusual, sad but it happens, we dont know why. I love you and you care for them in a wonderful way. You have a great house in a great area. They suck and don't listen to anyone who tells you that you're not the best.
Kim, I'm so sorry that people continue to make unnecessary and negative comments. 😡 You've had enough to deal with lately without dealing with hurtful comments.😢 I will continue to pray for Marley and also Magnum❤️🐾❤️
My gosh, I am so so sorry. I feel so bad that you already have lost what like three or four dogs over last year I mean like that is so hard but I totally agree with you. I have your Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving like this totally no problem. Hope that we’re pretty that like next week, but yeah, God bless y’all
I just lost my Sophie Nov 4..I held her and it was the hardest ever..still processing it in..want to thank you for all the info I got from you..she was 10..had cancer which I didn't see and her heart and liver couldn't take it..I simply didn't see the signs..she was running around sat and sun..Monday everything went south..I truly understand the pain for I've never experienced it before..one day at a time..anyway..thank you..for all the tips❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Kim, I'm so sorry you have to put up with horrible comments, people just don't think how much it hurts when they say these things. For goodness sake anyone can see how much you love and care for your precious boys. I think you have been very brave doing this video and thank you for sharing. So pleased Marley is doing well . Keep your chin up 🥰🥰xxx
So glad that Marley is doing good. Prayers work. I see no problem with putting up decorations early. Whatever provides some joy in life. Senior dogs can certainly have issues, but they are worth it! My 3 are 11,9, and 7, and I've been very blessed to have extremely healthy schnauzers. My best friend has lost 2 in the last year. Its just heartbreaking, as you well know. Thanks for the update Kim, will keep you all in my prayers.
As you may recall, I lost six schnauzer mixes in six years. I would be happy to explain to the ignorant how it is that one can lose so many dogs when you have so many dogs to begin with. I am so sorry you have those types of comments from thoughtless people. They need to move on and away from your channel.
Those of us that have been lucky enough to have a senior Schnauzer completely understand what you are going through. Lumps, bumps, Cushing’s, all of it…. We do everything we can to keep our fur babies healthy but sometimes there are things we can’t fix unfortunately.❤

Screw the negative comments. I would like to see your videos. Term off comments. We Schnauzer lovers have learned so much from you. God Bless.
I just appreciate you sharing the doggies with us. They are all so adorable. I get my first Mini Schnauzer next month. He was born on 10/5🙂
@xp3ernyce You will never be the same, in the best way possible! ❤

Kim I feel so bad for you. I know you love your dogs and take excellent care of them. Prayers for you and the dogs. 🙏🏻🥰🌸
Kim,
We are so happy you were able to post and give us the update on everyone.
So glad all worked out for Marley 💙
❤ oh so glad he’s doing good! I hope things continue to go good for him. 🙏🏻❤️! Your tree is so pretty! I put mine up too! Thank you for the update!❤
Milo is partly cat, perched on the couch lol.
Love the simple tree by the fireplace, makes it look cozy. Good to see the boys, keeping them in my prayers. 🙏🏻
My prayers for Marley, sending him best vibes for recuperation…. ❤
Schnauzers are very prone. For all those rude comments should go pray for their selves....Kim you are doing amazing.
I watched you for many years. I have had 4 schnauzersin my life. Yes, as they age things pop up. Nothing you did. 13 is a good age. As they say "s..." happens. You are a great dog mom! Love your dogs!!! And you! 15:40 15:40
Sending you, the boys and your family lots of hugs. Keeping you all in my prayers and wishing lots of happiness after all the darkness 💙💙💙
So happy to see you all again, and to hear good results for Marley. Wonder what Milo saw out there :D Missed you and the boys so much. Tree are beautiful, is it a new one? Praying for Magnum and blessing over the Schnauzer home.Hugs and kisses for the boys ❤
How lovely to hear from you!
I’m so disappointed in the way people comment recklessly on our channels. I don’t blame you for not wanting to discuss the health issues. Thank you again for sharing the joys of your doggies. ❤😊
Thank you very much for the updates. I'm so very happy that he's doing so well
That is how I lost my schnauzie Kobi. The spleen tumor ( which we didn’t know she had) ruptured and she passed within 2 hours. She was only 5 months shy of being 11 years old. I was beyond myself. Good job getting this out of Marley’s body.
I’m so sorry 😞
Glad to hear Marley is healing so well! On another note, I’m still waiting for you to one day get that GoPro (or whatever it was) on one of the dogs. I’d love to get a dog’s eye view of their world.
My problem is no one will move when I put it on them lol
Thank you Kim for this update, ❤
Ty Lord for a good report.🙏🙏
So happy that Marley do well ❤️so happy to hear from you take care 🎄
Thank you!
Your welcome and thanks for watching 😊
Good to see you back
Thanks for the update, praying for all of your dogs to stay healthy and happy🙏🙏❤❤
God bless you, Kim, and your family 💖✝
Yes surprised me with video late before bed too! So happy for Marley and hope for the best. My dog Rags had tumor on tear leg as well which wasn't cancer but we removed it cause coild interfere with walking. Unfortunately his throat cancer not related was pretty much diagnosed as for sure terminal. Still difficult but we tried to do everything except try to put him through the radiation for more than likely nothing and his suffering. Miss him tremendously and have his pictures ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!😊❤
Take care Farrell family!!!❤❤❤🎉
Good to hear you and your doggies are doing ok ❤
So happy to hear they got the through this. 🤞🏻🙏🏻
Hello sweet Kim!!! So good to hear from you ❤
Wow, you are doing amazing. I would have lost my mind trying to cope with all you've been through. Keeping you and your's lifted in prayer.
We lost one in May this year and the other one has been diagnosed with Cushing’s. We have been devastated since losing our Pepper. She was a gem! Rosie is hanging in there, will be 14 in January! Love watching!
I’m so sorry 😞
You are just so like me, can’t wait to put mine soon…..!😊
Thanks for the information on the Cushing's! I'm beginning to think my 12 year old Schnauzer may have it...or he's just a old man! LOL
Yeah for Marley!! ❤. God bless, Kim. I have three miniature schnauzers now and very much appreciate your channel and all your insight and experience.
Hi Kim its so nice to hear from you🙂
Love your videos - Thanks
Mean people who asked "why they died?" They are unbelievable. They were old. And Miggy got cancer in middle age, not unusual, sad but it happens, we dont know why. I love you and you care for them in a wonderful way. You have a great house in a great area. They suck and don't listen to anyone who tells you that you're not the best.
Kim, I'm so sorry that people continue to make unnecessary and negative comments. 😡 You've had enough to deal with lately without dealing with hurtful comments.😢 I will continue to pray for Marley and also Magnum❤️🐾❤️
Praying for Magnum and Marley's healing in Jesus' name. God bless you Kim and your family
My gosh, I am so so sorry. I feel so bad that you already have lost what like three or four dogs over last year I mean like that is so hard but I totally agree with you. I have your Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving like this totally no problem. Hope that we’re pretty that like next week, but yeah, God bless y’all
I can’t wait. ❤
Kim, thanks for sharing the update with us. I was wondering about how everything was going with you. ❤❤❤
I’m so sorry 😞
My little baby came from Singapore and she still had those lumps and she even had dry eye which led to loss of the eye. So many health problems.
Im pray for you family schnauzer mom 🐈⬛🐕
So excited for the new Administration. Hopefully MI was onboard? 😮
Has to be a really good surgeon 👨⚕️. Those incisions look great! I hope he has no further problems. Miniature schnauzers don’t live to be old enough.
2nd response...I just put up my tree❤❤❤❤
Yes, celebrate it all………❤
Christmas tree ? So, fast ! You American really like to start celebrating early, don't you ?! 😉
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
❤
❤❤❤
Yea it’s always funny how some thinks they think they might no more than someone else crazy kinda of weird world times it is just ignore the morons
As you may recall, I lost six schnauzer mixes in six years. I would be happy to explain to the ignorant how it is that one can lose so many dogs when you have so many dogs to begin with. I am so sorry you have those types of comments from thoughtless people. They need to move on and away from your channel.
❤❤❤
