I use Yoshi’s bandannas or bow ties for decor on my schnauzer figurines. It makes me feel good to see them and they look beautiful especially for Christmas. Wish I had bought him a red scarf. I smell him every time I get the bandannas out. It’s bittersweet! 💔🐾❤️ We’ve had a bad year as well and lost our most precious Yoshi! He always reminded me of Miggy and I still feel like half my heart is missing! We both lost them within days of each other so you certainly have every reason to feel the way you do. Your house is a testament to your strength because I can’t keep up with mine lately but you keep going and that’s admirable!! Other than his memorial areas I don’t bother trying anywhere else but I do love when I find something great for the shrine that has become the house in Yoshi’s honor. Your laugh is contagious and makes me smile and your home is perfectly put together so keep going for us fans and your little ones left. You remember when you didn’t groom one of the boys (almost sure it was Miggy) you knew he was acting different and you were concerned then you were able to groom him and he popped back up perfect as ever? One of my favorite stories you shared. Anyway, if you don’t decorate I have a feeling the boys are going to pull a Miggy and get upset lol Decor is flawless and stunning. I’m glad it brought you some much deserved Joy! I know all of our boys are hogging the ball up there and having a great time! We will see them again! ❤

Everything looks very nice.We put up a schnauzer tree every year in memory of all our babies who have crossed the rainbow bridge.It's hard but we wouldn't feel right not doing it.

Love the tree and all of the decor. I put a stuffed schnauzer on my tree I use the lights to help hold it on but if you have a pre lit tree that won't work. I see Marley is back in his favorite spot.

You are lucky that your kittens does not climb inside the Christmas tree. When I started with my first schnauzer, I had a cat, so the first Christmas was a riot….literally! So the next year I hung the Christmas tree from the ceiling. That was a beginning of several somewhat quite Christmas with out picking up bulbs etc. That was along time ago, many miles away in my memories. I have ornaments of my schnauzer from the beginning to almost my ending. (77y) Some years I do not put up a tree, to many memories and other years I do. Maybe this year will be nice. I alway think of you and your family and the boys. I pray you will have a wonderful, wonderful Christmas. Give the boys a hug for me.

It’s tough to think about Christmas when we lose family members (goes without saying pets included), especially as many as you have this year. Seeing Christmas decorations cheers us up. I know everyone says they do it for the kids but we should do it for ourselves as well. I’m looking forward to seeing my Christmas decorations. Been a rough autumn 😂 This week I think we just seemed to slam straight into winter and I’m not liking it at all 😂 I can’t believe baby Bennett is 3 months old already! He will love Christmas ☺️

Your Christmas decor looks awesome, I love it. You are very brave having the tree there, I only have 2 dogs but we have to put our tree up and out of the way otherwise they will be like cats and try to climb it lol, Or they would knock it over when running around. I have a Shih tzu and a Lhasa Apso, they are both the size of cats just wider they are real sisters. It would look great if you put bows on those dogs on your hearth. Xx
Your schaunzer room looks very festive! I like how you change it a bit every year! You could still do a memorial decor for your boys that passed in remembrance of them. Just throwing that out there. My schaunzer boy Rudi is 14 doing well and loves to lay in a sunny spot too. Which one is in the cat bed? That's pretty funny. But schaunzers are funny.
