At about 1:48, the dad says "my deepest regret is that I won't be able to see you grow into the good man I know you will be" (or something like that). But this is a pre recorded message before he got shot. He didn't know he was going to die, and he died almost immediately.
I'm pretty sure it was Thomas Wayne's will or he was just coping with his age.
Scarecrow and two-face as main antagonists? No joker? Awesome. Joker has served his purpose in the last 3 games. Time for new villains.
This is set after Arkham City, so Joker is not going to be in it, and if more arkham games come after Arkham Knight and set in after City, he won't be in those either.

The first clue was "Are you working on a new Batman game Mr. Konroy?" his reply was "Yes.... but not Origins." It was obvious

***** It didn't take much research to know that Rocksteady has been busy with this while WB Montreal was working on AO. There was also the numerous registered trademarks and more recently the leaked image. Yes the reveal was today but this isn't like it's a complete surprise for everyone so speculating anything prior to today wasn't exactly meaningless.

CGI... lol pre edited and rendered video. The gameplay will look nothing close to it... The graphics will be exactly like Arkham Origins on PC as it looked... It will be a fantastic game.

This is how Batman is supossed to fight, like a fuckin ninja, not throwing sloppy hooks like a drunk turd as he did in TDKR... This is how Gotham City is supossed to be: dark, dystopic and violent... not a clean and shinny version of Chicago...
My 13 year old self was so shook by this announcement trailer, I even remember when a GameStop employee leaked the promotional logo banner all over Reddit and twitter, the hype for this game was beyond immeasurable, never will we get another perfect game like this again, rip Kevin Conroy you were truly the definitive Batman thank you for everything and my childhood

One of the best superhero games ever made (and a personal favorite overall for me) and this trailer is still one of the best I’ve ever seen, for games or movies, just phenomenal. Truly sets the stage for what became the best Batman game yet

Finished the game a few months ago and I can confirm that gameplay still rocks.
Why the hell does Hollywood insist on making live action films when one of this quality would do equally well in the box office?!
In addition, we wouldn't have to resort to using actors that rotate when their contact ends, essentially ruining an entire set of decent films. It's a vicious cycle that could end with CG of this quality!

The criminals in the yellow vests helping Two-Face have the words "Hell's Gate" on their backs. If you remember Azrael's prophecy in Arkham City, he said, "You are the warrior who will close the gates of Hell." Could there be a connection?
Also, I just remembered that "Hell's Gate" was the name of the underground area on the way to the League of Assassins' lair in Arkham City. This makes me think that the guys in the yellow vests have something to do with the League of Assassins.

+300daysandknights I think the main appeal of the PC is for graphics. Don't get me wrong I love my PC but I also like the ps4 because games are tailored to be able to play on it. While the PC you need to shift and tinker with to play large but great games like The Witcher 3
