Thank you Coach! As a smaller guard & Pg this is great because you have more options for finishing(using fakes too) and being able to see the full clearer. Love your channel and the knowledge you bring

Jalen Brunson has some of the best two foot footwork and finishes. I see where he gets his Villanova two step from.

Great breakdown homie. I love how you brought in examples from both types of finishes and explained how the two foot is more valuable to master

This is what i was thinking about yesterday on trainig ,I was driving to the rim but i miss the contested layup because I finished of one foot.If i had finished of two foot I would have been more stable and get a easy layup because im stornger in contact than my defender

Wow great video didn’t know all of the advantages on two feet, not only can you finish better better also get a pass to a wide open teammate 💯

Good points. Also, two feet allows smaller players more stability off their jump. Whereas one-foot jumps allow you to extend slightly more but when going up against larger defenders would you rather have slightly more extension or noticeably more stability?

I'm single feet jumper before and i excel in it too even if they block me I'm confident that they can't reach the ball in my hand. Unfortunately i slipped my left foot causing torn ligament and now my left foot isn't powerful anymore but to feet style help me get back to game.

It doesn't work like that man. Sometimes you don't have time to gear up and position yourself for a 2 foot finish. By the time you get ready for the 2 foot finish, you are gonna get blocked. Sometimes, you need that quick edge because you are slightly ahead of the defender so you are in position for a layup.

I agree. Did I say that you should finish off of two feet every single time you get in the paint?? No, it’s all about context and the situation.

But you still have an advantage off 2. Like he said, you have more options off 2.
