With a unique focus on contemporary music, this group draws highly talented high-school-age youth from schools throughout the Puget Sound. Vocalpoint! Seattle is part of the Northwest Choirs, which includes the esteemed Northwest Boychoir. Aside from their own performance series, Vocalpoint collaborates with some of our region’s finest ensembles, including the Seattle Symphony and Music of Remembrance.

I’m a huge Pointer Sisters fan and I’m also considered one of their young fans, as I’m only 27 years old. I was rewatching some live performances of the sisters when I accidentally came across this video. You ladies did a great job! Loved it! 👏 so amazing to see young folks singing songs of my favourite artists! It makes me happy that their music still lives on in our generation and beyond!
I'm 41 years old, and I was born when the 80's music started. As a child, something in my mind didn't like the song Jump for my love. I thought the song was kind of rude, but as I got older, I learned to like it. Same with John Waite's Missing you. It sounded kind of mean, but now I realise he was being sarcastic, and the pointer Sisters were singing, "If you want more love, jump over here! Go ahead! Gimme your best jump. I'll catch you if you fall!" Those 80's songs are the bomb!

That was perfectly sung! Just like the original recording! You girls could be the next Pointer Sisters! IN fact, you should start a Pointer Sisters Tribute band! How about this! The Pointer Blasters! Even if you don't quite sound like them, you did all the cool stuff they did in that song just perfectly! I'm giving you all 10 fingers up! Great rendition. I tried singing this song. Good job not trying to emulate them. The Pointer Sisters had very deep/almost masculine singing voices which made the song extra special. But not all of us can copy them. And I’m glad you made this song your own.
