For me, this debut is absolute FIRE!!!! It definitely has a sound where you can hear Hongjoong's influence, but producer Eden said that this song in particular was very inspired by Bollywood and that's what I hear more than a pirate/"Pirate King" sound or vibe. Xikers are already performance BEASTS right out the gate!!! They have so much charisma and energy - you MUST check out some of their brand new stage performances on RUclips, with this comeback. They ARE doing the same thing as ATEEZ where they are debuting with TWO title tracks, so the mv for "Rockstar" will be out soon, as well, (you can see stage performances of that song now) and that track has a very different sound than Tricky House. Xikers have their own concept and storyline, and the album ties in with it. You should check out the whole album - I think you would love it! It's very cohesive. I read that the "Xikers" meaning is a combo of "X", as in coordinates on a map and "Hikers" as in travelers - & their storyline involves them traveling the world looking for coordinates (going on a wild journey). I also read that "their concept is goblins (look at their "goblin" signature character on their channel). The MV Korean title directly translates to 'Goblin House'. So unlike western 'ghosts/spirits' which are associated with the death of a human, in Korean lore they're nature-like spirits, and that's why you see the blue flames throughout the MV, since goblins are associated with blue flames in Korean lore. Goblins (in Korean lore) can also transform into different things and take on different forms and so on": Dokkaebi (Korean: 도깨비) are legendary creatures from Korean mythology and folklore. Dokkaebi, also known as "Korean goblins", are nature deities or spirits possessing extraordinary powers and abilities that are used to interact with humans, at times playing tricks on them and at times helping them. (From Wikipedia) I think they're gonna surprise you in the BEST way! I'm so excited for them! And so proud of Xikers, KQ, Eden/Edenary & Hongjoong! GO, XIKERS!!!!!
I am so so incredibly proud of Xikers. I've followed them since they were announced as trainees. And I had the incredible privilege of seeing them perform at the Chicago show in November, including this song. They are gonna go far and I can't wait for them to gain traction. KQ has top tier idols and this proves it.
I loved this song immediately when I first heard it months ago. It's so fun and bouncy and I could immediately imagine all the edits of the song on Bollywood videos lol. (Watched a lot of Bollywood movies when younger, for the music n dancing scenes) Idk what KQ's feeding these fellaz but their energy is 1000%. How they can remain stationary in position to do the fairy endings after the music stops on stage & music shows is beyond me. They have put out a lot of pre-debut content & perhaps I'm not quite caught up with all, but at this point, I see them as a rap-heavy and dance performance grp. They are so strong and so slick on stage, changing positions so smoothly & quickly I can't imagine how much practice they have put in. The songs on this first mini-album, to me, are almost all equally explosive and high energy. I wouldn't say it's an album tt shows off their range or diversity but boy do they flex their energy. I'm excited to watch their growth as a group over the years. (These boys are abt as old as my own sons.) xikers, fighting!
When you said that you didn't know if it was a girl group or a boy group I just thought about the possibility of KQ making a girl group... what we see with Ateez and now Xikers is that KQ prioritizes the ability to perform above anything. That's why xikers had so many live performances before debuting. The idea of a girlgroup that was trained for live performance is just crazy and I would love for KQ to make one.
@@night_sky_hope yes, but the KQ style is so powerfull, imagine a gg sings live and dances songs like pirate king or triky house for her debut, is crazy if you think and crazy
This was an INCREDIBLE debut! I immediately bought their album. I'm so impressed! I get a lot of Ateez vibes from this for sure. I do get their own flavor from this but there are a lot of similarities for sure! This MV is so fun though. The album is FIRE!
I have been following these guys since they were introduced. Even tho KQ has their production team and their sound, xikers concept is different from Ateez's. Xikers (pronounced like psy-kers) are basically the tricksters of kpop, that's the feel I believe they're going for. I think you would enjoy their bsides so much more than Tricky House tho, totally recommend you to listen to xikey and oh my gosh. But to be honest, their entire album is great. Their music is like them, tricky. It doesn't always go as you expect it to
SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU REACT TO XIKERS really loving all of their stuff already and this is such a catchy track! I think you'd really like Xikey tho this and Xikey are my favs off the album 👌🏻
They opened for ATEEZ when I saw them in concert last year and they were still called KQ fellas 2. They performed so well, they did a great job opening for ATEEZ and you could tell that the members of ATEEZ were so proud of their juniors.
A pride for his older brothers from ATEEZ. The Koreans established that xikers is the impact group that marks the 5th generation. So from their debut date onwards they are all from the 5th. Excellent. The entire album is wonderful, no song is out of liking. Legend has it that this group is the Lost Boys, but the coordinates and maps are known. Will we ever see them interact with the pirates and the Captain of the company?
I got the same feel like you, when it comes to 'Pirate king'and 'Tricky house'. Both songs are like invitations. Like; "Come join us on this journey of discovering something new." While there are similarities between the two, when you listen to the rest of the debut album, you'll hear a difference between xikers and ATEEZ 😉 xikers have a different energy, that makes them stand on their own. They're defiantly inspired by ATEEZ and Stray Kids, but they're also their own sound and I'm looking forward to follow them in their future career and this exploration of their 'Tricky house'😉😊
I wonder whether you would pick up on the same aspects if you didn't know who this group was affiliated with. Would the same elements be prevalent if you didn't know about Hong Joong's involvement, or if they weren't known to be from KQ? Because I think we can often take things and assign features to them because we have expectations of any group we first listen to. I think you'll enjoy their Xikey (psyche) song, though, and I'd very highly recommend the pre-debut song from the Xikers rap line, Canvas. I think both will give you more of a feel for what their rappers bring to the table. That cutie with the fast rap is only 17, the maknae of the group, and he's a bar spitter with a really unique sounding delivery. Where there IS a definite similarity to ATEEZ is that their group leader is 1) one of the shortest members; 2) a rapper; 3) a composer/writer who came into the group with lots of jumping off material. He, too, has a unique flavor for his rap contributions. I'm interested to see what's next for this group, as I think they have a lot of potential.
If anything I think the fact that Hongjoong was a part of this record and the fact they’re signed to KQ helped them in my estimations. Because either way I would’ve felt this was an Ateez beat, this way I know it comes from a place of respect from the offset, instead of a group trying to carbon copy an already existing group! With HJ behind them I’m sure he’ll give them the direction they need to be superstars though, I’ve got high hopes for them!
Considering people have drawn similarities between ATEEZ and Dreamcatcher even before knowing they shared producers, I don’t think it would be unusual for the unaware to recognize Edenary’s production style.
This song is IN MY HEAD! I have been so excited for xikers debut and it did not disappoint. The opening shots are really engaging. The choreo is amazing. I'm gonna be OT10 here, but Minjae and Yechan are my favorite sons. I am digging the Leader/Maknae rapper vibes. I love that Hongjoong worked on this album too. I am so thankful that he is Captain of Ateez because if I didn't get to see his face every day there would be a part of my soul that was broken in a way I wouldn't know how to fix. But I am also so happy he got to work with our new babies because he loves it and he is great at it! They are definitely Ateez's little bros, but with their own new thing. Everything I have heard on the album has been very cool. Exciting times over there at KQ!
I actually love the vibe and song which I didn't think I would because it's VERY hard for me to like new groups. It's more of a carnival vibe which is my jam and hongjoong has always given me joker-y vibes so this shouldn't be too surprising😂 i agree that this is a little more mainstream though, which one thing that I love about Ateez is how NOT mainstream they are and how they are completely different from anyone. You should def check out some of their other songs on the album though! This is actually an experimental album for hongjoong and Edenary so I really hope this opens up more doors for hongjoong and gives him more freedom to make his own music and try different things, and being able to do this for his juniors is really cool. This is a debut too, and because it's experimental, Ateez and Edenary actually keep note of what people like and dislike so I'm sure their future comeback will be killer like Ateez's was :) I do get the similarities too, but I actually like it because Ateez came from nothing and now are able to give their new juniors privilege that Ateez themselves had worked super hard for. So I like how you can draw comparisons and people can immediately point out which groups are from which company as each company usually has their own style and talent which KQ def cooks up crazy talent in these guys. I also like how heavily involved hongjoong especially and the Ateez members are with xikers (their only group label mate now), so I'm excited to see what hongjoongs mind has cooked up! Thank you, and please react to more ateez next!❤

I'm happy to see you reacting to Xikers! And I see what you're saying in terms of their similarities to Ateez in terms of production ( and to be fair it's the same production team so....that's pretty normal) Two things I would say though: most groups have a good debut ( and I would classify this as a good debut) but it's usually that first comeback that solidifies their identity and sound. If they do something the same then they would be seen as copycats. Ateez took them along for their tour, so they performed before the Ateez Chicago concert when they were still KQ Fellaz 2 and they were already amazing. And it’s so wonderful to see how much Ateez loves and supports their little brothers.
I personally think this is a song that has to grow on you. I don't think it sounds like an ATEEZ song either, bc if atz did perform a track like this, I'd give them the side eye and be concerned. However I think it suits xikers, it's only their debut, this is also not the main main title track, the boys did express they liked Rockstar more and I believe the other mvs/performances would be released at a later date. Yeah. It might sound similar to some ateez sounds but, as you said, there are some songs on their album that if ateez sang, I'd be confused. So maybe the similarities should be attributed to Edenary and KQ rather than ATEEZ.
@@demiladeijimakinwa yup, every company has its signature sound/traits, it's just hard to distinguish and compare it with only 2 groups. I don't think anyone should be too hard on them literally only their 2nd day as a debuted group, they'll grow let's be positive.
I think you should check out one of their songs called XIKEY, beat music was much the same as UK drill because you like UK drill right.? Of course because you are a rapper, I believe you will like that song😁
Hey! I’m an pre-debut Atiny and I’ve been excited for them for a couple of years now since I’ve seen 3-4 members of them years ago training and posting a little and I could already tell they’re TALENTED. While this songs isn’t really for me either (just like you said tho, the production is insanely good! And you can see their talent already) I definitely share your opinion, it’s their debut song and I am SO sure they will blow us away in the future. CANT WAIT! Thank you for your reaction :)
The song is really good for a debut song though but lets see what they will do in the future. I hope they will have some bangers. So Ateez got some juniors 😅😉
I think with Xikers they are breaking into the Korean market first before us international fans. I don't disagree with this approach,. I think these artist are incredible and the album is the bomb. This is just what I think and I could be wrong. Anyway thanks for your reaction. Sincerely Dominic Duguccii
i share the same opinion! i would honestly like to know what kind of songs they have in mind when they say that? i think a lot of these people have not heard ateez's full discography tbh
This is KQ's vibe... sounds very much edenary, choreo very much BBT. But yes agree with you, it has some freshness, unique identity to them as xikers. Thanks a lot for reacting! I love how organic your reactions are, keep on doing what you do!
The minute I’ve heard that I had the same thought it’s like Ateez, they even have a guy who sounded more like Hongjoong when he raps. But we’ll see how it’s gonna be in the next comeback. Maybe HJ tried to play it safe. The album itself is great, but I also wanted some raw and unique sound from them.
that's just Yechan's voice, he's had that high pich and tone since he was on Under19. it's been his style. there's some switch ups and unique melodies and vocal moments on the b-sides that i've never heard ATEEZ do. this album is actually really ambitious for a debut and Tricky House is the most normal song, even though it is Bollywood inspired (what Eden said). i love it and think it fits them perfectly. Tricky House is also better live bc that's where the energy really is.
if u want something different that kinda hits you in the face you should check out their track "xikey" :) its a beat that, imo, brings smth new to kpop (+the live performance is amazing!!!)
You need to do an album review for House of Tricky. Xikers sound so good & I know Ateez are proud of their little brothers. I'm loving our little trickster spirits. Most of us have followed their journey from KQ Fellaz². I've been watching them since there were only 3 of them & they were on Instagram...now there's 10! With SKZ, I listened to My Pace & it was good, but then Hellavator came out & I didn't like it. Double Knot was what got my attention & drew me in.
I get what u mean and I really hope they won’t only be known as Ateez little brothers but have their own name. U should listen to the mini album. Maybe u’ll like something on it
finally one of my fav youtuber react to xikers 😎 I really don't minde if they similar to ATEEZ bc ATEEZ the standard❤ so it's OK if you say that bc they are in the same company and ATEEZ is the Leaders obviously and I love both ATEEZ and xikers ❤ thanks for your reaction
I know I'm not a patreon but I have recommendation that I think you might like :) BANG YONGGUK YAMAZAKI. he has more songs that I thought were fire and the lyrics are deep. I love your reactions ❤

Love your videos as always!
Oh im waiting for youuuu
I think you should check out one of their songs called XIKEY, beat music was much the same as UK drill because you like UK drill right.? Of course because you are a rapper, I believe you will like that song😁
8:17 to be fair this is a pre debut song!
9:01 hellevator was also a pre debut song!! stray kids real debut was district 9 😭
Check out Xikey by Xikers It’s more on the hiphop side. I think you will really like that one! Loved your honesty 🤍
I love honest reactions
The song is really good for a debut song though but lets see what they will do in the future. I hope they will have some bangers.
So Ateez got some juniors 😅😉
they will have another MV wich is called ROCKSTAR idk when they will drop it tho!
I think with Xikers they are breaking into the Korean market first before us international fans. I don't disagree with this approach,. I think these artist are incredible and the album is the bomb. This is just what I think and I could be wrong. Anyway thanks for your reaction.
Sincerely Dominic Duguccii
BROOOOO I NEEDDDDDDD YOU TO REACT TO XIKEY!
Its a b-side but THEY GO ALL INNNNN
Honestly the whole album is FIRE but XIKEY is my fav!
It also gives drill vibes
Not me just noticing the changbin picture on the wall😭😭😭
with respect I think they have their own unique vibe despite some Hongjoong influence
You should check the rap line song Cancas, it has an MV
I've come to think that I'm the only person who doesn't see any resemblance to them with Ateez, even in music or something. I'm not normal 😹🙆😮😅
i share the same opinion! i would honestly like to know what kind of songs they have in mind when they say that? i think a lot of these people have not heard ateez's full discography tbh
This is KQ's vibe... sounds very much edenary, choreo very much BBT. But yes agree with you, it has some freshness, unique identity to them as xikers. Thanks a lot for reacting! I love how organic your reactions are, keep on doing what you do!
Atiny here very proud of Xikers
This Is flow 😮
Love the reaction. Honest opinion 👌. Please give p1harmony a reaction!
IM FINALLY EARLY
Teddy can you react to future perfect by enhypen i am sure you will like it
You should checkout their song called Xikey and maybe watch the performance as well. It's a drill type beat, for sure you're gonna love it 😊
I would recommend a album review. They have amazing songs and I like the b-sides a bit more to be honest :)
Thank you for your reaction 🌼😊
Please react to xikers we don't stop and red sun 🌼😊
LISTEN TO XIKEY. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
Dude you NEED to check out Xikey it’s 100% your vibe
Check out Doorbell Ring or Xikey by xikers.
@@sanb1945 plus they write their own raps so hongjoong wouldn't have been the one deciding how it sounds
if u want something different that kinda hits you in the face you should check out their track "xikey" :) its a beat that, imo, brings smth new to kpop (+the live performance is amazing!!!)
technically Distric 9 is Stray Kids debut song😅
You need to do an album review for House of Tricky. Xikers sound so good & I know Ateez are proud of their little brothers. I'm loving our little trickster spirits. Most of us have followed their journey from KQ Fellaz². I've been watching them since there were only 3 of them & they were on Instagram...now there's 10!
With SKZ, I listened to My Pace & it was good, but then Hellavator came out & I didn't like it. Double Knot was what got my attention & drew me in.
Please react to their album especially OH MY GOSH
Please check out Rarehouse illegal..... They will also debut soon
Check their song 'xikey' too please!
Please react to their album
I get what u mean and I really hope they won’t only be known as Ateez little brothers but have their own name. U should listen to the mini album. Maybe u’ll like something on it
You have to react to their song xikey
finally one of my fav youtuber react to xikers 😎 I really don't minde if they similar to ATEEZ bc ATEEZ the standard❤ so it's OK if you say that bc they are in the same company and ATEEZ is the Leaders obviously and I love both ATEEZ and xikers ❤ thanks for your reaction
