I'm very happy they did this after the awards ceremony. You get a much better impression of the players this way. They are both very strong mentally and kind.

She has a great team around her but she deliberately plays to constantly make them better and help them score, always thinking about everybody else… she must be getting tired of everybody wanting to hug her all the time lol. To have such a skilful and magic player also be such a shining example of sportsmanship in the game is an inspiration to everybody!

The MAJORITY are also overpaid diving whiny primadonnas, and VERY disrespectful when it comes to on-field conduct, especially when it comes to referee decisions (just ask a Pro rugby player). Also bear in mind how many matches are on TV with families watching while they behave like verbally abusive spoiled brats...
A very few have actual character and any good intention for anyone apart from themselves, the rest are just someone who is good at kicking a ball around a field. Ian Wright HAS character, but he's retired. I think you're mistaking character for something else.
I applaud Erling and Aitana for their awards. They both deserve it, and they are both very humble, and they both deserve it. You can also tell neither really wanted to be there - they just want to play football. To me, they are both great , but not because of character, because of humility and love for their work.

Congratulations to Erling and Aitana!!! He is my perfect idol and as a footballer, both women's and men's football deserve A LOT OF LOVE AND RESPECT, no matter how bad or good they are. I'm pretty sure we have seen both footballers have trained quite a lot, hardwork and dedication, patience and the love for the game. This is something that proved their fans happy, proving some of them wrong when they say that "They chose the wrong club, not the perfect fit for the team, lack of scoring goals in league matches or in European Competitions. So I'll think that Erling will be the future of Messi and Ronaldo with his goalscoring talents keeps on coming and going as well as Aitana because they both will have many years to come at this young age below 30. Honestly they should have translators. You can see how specially Aitana is very uncomfortable speaking English. Her English is pretty good, but it would be nice is she could simply speak Spanish. I could tell that she couldn’t always say what she wanted to say because of the language barrier.

As a relatively recent bandwagon jumper on womens’ footy, Bonmati was absolutely the best player I watched at the World Cup. The best player in the final by a country mile. Erling continues to astound with his goal numbers. Only criticism I’d have is he seemed to be less effective in the big games at times especially in the Champion’s League. Congrats to two excellent players.

Basically reiterating what she said in her acceptance speech. Starts by saying of course this has been a very successful time both in club and country.
