@LionsChamps2025 I'm actually a huge collector but what I'm not is a CASUAL when it comes to Hockey and the remark is more about what CASUALS have done to the price of Series 2. In no way shape or form is it acceptable the price it is. In the history of UD Flagship there has never been a time a case would be an instant 2k loss. Not even with Mcdavid. But you'd know that it if you actually collected Hockey.

I'm totally about watching hockey wax get opened here in 2024. My last year ripping hockey was 1990-'91! Chasing those Nolan, Jagr and Federov O-Pee-Chee Premier rc's, lol.
It's crazy how much value that set still retains, even being from the junk wax era. High grade copies of the HOF rookies are pretty insane for being from 1990-91!!

I was lucky enough to pull 2 Bedard YG out of 40 retail packs. Both have a small identical “dot” on the top edge. Not on the face of the card, on the actual edge. Has anyone seen this? Considering both have it, I’m wondering if this is common for his YG card. And, how will this impact PSA?!
Way to Go, I always buy from D&A I barley get skunked when I bust hobby boxes. I am happy that you pulled the Bedard. I've learned to keep all hobby boxes sealed. Then just buy singles of ppl I pc......
Nice cards buddy lucky! I have not been able to break a box in a long time A. No stores around me have them because a sports card shop across the street from Walmart the guy goes in buys everything off the shelf in one shot and then jacks the prices by like 30 40 bucks for a box! And B. I got hurt at work and have not had the money to afford his prices 😞
Is it just excitement for the value of Bedards cards to sell? I never cared about the value of any cards when collecting. It was just fun to collect and complete a set for me. I'm just curious, no judgement on my end. I have thousands of cards and never sold any. Gave a bunch of my friends' favorite players, to them though.
Just a quick note, when you pull a rookie look to see his date of birth. The younger players are the ones you want to collect, younger players with potential been collecting for a long time ya never know when you will pull the next Yzerman. great videos, dont know much about baseball but your vids are entertaining. Congrats i pulled 1 as well and most definitely a good feeling. I currently have 5 hobby boxes do you think i should just open them all? I feel once the 1of1 is pulled the price of boxes will drop.
Upper deck still probably has the card and waiting a bit to load it in the boxes is my guess… would be smart by them to keep people ripping it at these prices
@PullinRips absolutely I can see that! Such a huge hype for a modern day card. Makes the hobby super exciting. I'm sitting on 5 hobby boxes from 3 different provinces in Canada. Investment purposes you could call it, but the temptation to open is unreal lol

Watching him skate and play this year at 18 is truly unbelievable. The "he's already a HoF player" is a saying I have never really cared for but he probably will be. He has McDavid and Crosby type skill level for sure.
I beat every case odd, in 5 hobby even a gold sparkle 1:960 packs that like 80 hobby not worth but a couple bucks. The beards by next month will be 3-400 they printed 150,000
How do you know 150000?
@@dillonswartz3416 1.45 bedard a case times case and a estimate on hobby production was done by someone smarter than me. Bobby was over 100,000 and I guess on retail at less than half that. I saw some other people had worked it out. eBay is already filling up with them. Think you can hunt mcdavid rookie stuff that's still sealed, around the same price the cup is going to be. Crazy as will all 23-24 product

I remember back in 2020 or 2021, I would pick up a blaster of upper deck hockey when I couldn't find baseball. Not much more than base, but you did get at least one young gun in each. So you had a fairly decent shot at getting a really nice hit for just $20. I bought 5 boxes the year the Hughes brothers were in and I got 2 Jack Hughes. At the time, it was a really hot card and selling in triple digits for a raw copy. Not sure what its at now. On top of those, I got another 6 various YGs and at least 2 or 3 sold for $20+ at the time. One of the more reliably profitable blasters I ever bought.
