Man, I've discovered your channel a few days ago and I have to say you're tribe has to be one of the best i've seen. I don't play PVP i dont have the time and Patience to do so but you guys make it look fun. Keep up the amazing vids
Imma use this wall design for my gem cave wipe and on the top of the wall to do damage to riders ill put up floaters to hit them off their tames.
We have just claimed carno cave on unofficial but are on the fence whether to keep it or not. What's your thoughts on defending carno cave? Is it an easy spot to hold for a tribe? Because ever since we started holing the spot, it seems to be drawing a lot of attention and several people have fobbed up on us within a couple of days
Offline its an easy raid but most caves are. Online you can baryonyx spam in the water and if you want tou can spam rafts in the water then demo them as they become an indistructable object for 5 minutes. Just stack the broken rafts until they give up
Tbh I’m mixed between the open and closed wall and it really depends on the spot for me and in spots like carno and oil I always wall it off
Alpha tree extintion or valguero would be good

Great video. What would be nice would be a crafting area video which shows your personal crafting area cause at the moment I'm always experimenting with crzofloors flying transmitters tek troughs and everything

Killer build, love the wall this way. I see a lot of carnos with the wall right on that edge to save resources I would imagine but this makes it a lot harder to tek rex. My only criticism would be to push the front heavy into the water so it actually shoots. Not sure how that works on unofficial though.
It’s a good build but it’s a little to easy bc 1 rocket and say hello to big hole in ceiling I would put tek ceiling and tek double doors leave pillars metal then it would be good
How do you deal with the no foundation support nearby?

Best building video I’ve ever seen on RUclips people are usually entirely misinformed but you were almost entirely correct just a couple tweekz and add ons and you would have the best design possible
I am a bit late with replying but well. I have seen more of your comments that the wall need "tweaks". Can you simply just tell the people what you mean by that. The Wall is very good. Maybe place more fences but i would be interested what you mean by tweekz

With the triple hatch frames, if I player did make it to the floor (vaults), wouldn't the hatch frames deter LOS for turrets?
They wont get trough maybe on a fibercraft but not on 10xs

Do place a lot of turrets on players AND Tames (80%). They can easily carbo whistle or destroy your wall with andrewsarcus if these turrets are soaked. Always put most of ur tek turrets on only players so they kill players off their stegos (splash dmg). Vary the shooting range of them. Put most on high range and some on middle range.
My friend linked me this vid asking me to critique, as a whole your wall is really strong, I think specifically the cliff plats and vault dropped floor are intuitive. For official it looks great, but can be optimized for unofficial
It’s actually needing tweekz and add ons for any kind of server that’s pvp and you’re entirely wrong on it being intuitive in any way everything he said was correct but some things do need to be tweaked but for everything he said and added it was all correct

Hey goofy, how ark handles overcap of turrets? Assume I'm making multi layers of wall that turret placement will overlap in some points going overcap. How will that work?
im 11 months to late for an answer lol. But if you overcap turrets, it does not matter. if your cap is 100 and you have 120 in range only 100 can shoot at the same time, but its good to overcap your wall cause most likely not every turret will shoot either of line of sight or the distance beeing to high.

Good death wall build but there is zero point of doing this design as it is nearly impossible to layer the cave up for studs etc

Build tutorials in single player do not work over on official bud. more than 50% of the time its different mesh/building capabilities.
But nice ideas to show ppl.
Why more teks than heavis? Heavi do more dmg to stego
What i’m guessing is that a lot of the times people often run carno cave walls and with teks that might stop them from doing that
Tek turrets shot ppl off stegos as well but ppl don’t normally soak carno they just try to tek rex or run it

Goofy said the cliff plat will make them not be able to build above ur cave, cliff plats have the same enemy foundation thing as a normal foundation/pillar, in the wall his pillars are higher than the cliff plat so the cliff plat is unnecessary

True but he also said that the cliffplats add extra snaps which is pretty useful
You are entirely misinformed cliff plats have a higher range than a foundation and it’s extra support for the entire wall so win win
While I admire the design and work that went into it, I don’t care for carno cave.
wall should be further back, shouldnt be an L either can tell this is an unofficial player
