  • Japan and Puerto Rico played in the opening round of the 2024 Little League World Series.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.
If you’re looking for high quality sports content, then this is the channel for you! I’ve covered Baseball (NCAA, LLWS, Professional), Football (NCAA, NFL), Softball (NCAA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA), Hockey (NHL), and much more!
The best part of my work as a RUclipsr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other RUclipsrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Notice the Japanese kids bow to the ump on a called strike 3. They don’t throw a hissy fit and complain, they don’t slam their bat down and cry like babies. The difference is parenting and respect. US teams could learn a ton from those kids

This is legit. Hard to tell if the batters foot is outside the lines or whatnot. So many of these hits look like they should have been outs because the batter was not inside the box, with a foot firmly infront of the plate or on the plate.
"The batter is not out merely for having their foot touching the plate when they hit the ball. A batter is out if they hit the ball (fair, foul, or foul tip) with one or both feet on the ground and completely outside of the batter’s box [(Rule 6.06(a)]. If part of the batter’s foot is touching home plate and part of the foot is touching the line of the batter’s box when the ball is hit, the batter’s actions are legal."

Japan’s hitters are all standing on top of the plate. Strategic against pitchers with LL level command who cannot exploit the inside part of the plate without risking a hit batter. They force walks and get completely jammed on pitches over the plate. High tech bats that take away the sting of a jam shot while giving a decent chance of clearing the infield with a bloop and opposing pitchers without confidence to come inside make this strategy possible. Ugly to watch a winning strategy that warps the game pretty badly made possible by bat technology not player skill. The only decent contact not pulled was a foot off the plate.

Sounds like sour grapes. Can you appreciate almost perfect defense by the Japanese? Hitting is up to the umpires to regulate, not keyboard warriors. My kid pitches little league, he has no issues pitching inside and drilling a kid or two to get them off his plate. You watch these PR kids they are scared to even get close. If the kid is comfortable getting close to home plate, go for it to cover more of the plate.

@@stann2001 it is an aesthetic argument sir. Ugly ball is ugly, even if it wins. Your values displease me. Thank you very much, good day sir.

Puerto Rico has bad fundamentals. The worst I've seen from them in a long time.
