This is definitely the first time they sing live and the first time their fans hear their actual voices , and this is why encore stages are important, bcz its rare nowadays to hear raw idols voices with zero effects
The second day was great. They did an amazing job! The thing is that kpop stans are not used to raw vocals while dancing. They are too used to loud backtracks and they don't know what a live performance actually is. But rhe thing that makes me angry is that kpop fans just decided to intentionally cut a bad part for example 10 seconds of a 3 minute song and said that they sounded terrible after dancing for an 1 hour. Why not talking about the rest of 3 minutes? This was so annoying.
Bro check out 2nd and 3rd gen performance in stage...... even 1st gen Lee hyori which recently got popular..... check them before talking about live performance
Unfortunately Hybe still pays very little attention to singing. They don't even take care of their biggest group in this regard, so what do you expect for some newbies?
HYBE literally ruined their own group's career by sending them to Coachella. They were obviously not ready, and instead of taking everyone's critics and improve themselves, they just take it as a hate comment and say that it was their "best performance" and that they are proud. But proud for what? For being talentless? Hilarious.
If you didn't understand the post you could've just asked someone. Why hating without knowing. The part was like- " I know everyones expectation is not the same. But trust me I've never worked as hard as i did for Coachella. We all tried giving our 100% and I'm proud of our performance. It's the best we've ever done"... And you're saying they didn't improve. The encore was like a month ago. They're humans not robot. They need to improve. And she did. If you can't see her improvement in the Coachella performance idk what to tell you.
Lol le sserafim also knows they did not do well but I mean which idol would go on live and tell their fans that they did not give their all ? Or I mean not saying they did not put in effort. But by saying yea we did bad it is as good as telling the fans that they literally show shit to us. Of course you will not see idols criticise themselves.
@@savokisan it wasn't and was never a mistake they terminated GFRIEND on purpose cause they thought that GFRIEND would overshadow LE SSERAFIM. But at this point I think that any other rookie group which is not under HYBE can overshadow LE SSERAFIM easily (No Hate To LE SSERAFIM in any way)
I just want to remind everyone that Sakura has more than 12 years of experience in the industry. More than any other of the Coachella Kpop participants - BP, Aespa, Ateez
i also want to remind everyone that jpop is a completely industry, where singers get basically no vocal training, and her years in izone, they also received little to NO vocal training since they were a temporary group (we can tell with the ive girlies and how much their techniques have changed / improved). so it isnt until le sserafim that kurra has actually gotten proper training as she (and kazuha) also skipped the trainee era that chaewon or yunjin had
@@milianna3236 Bro, I know about Jpop and the fact that they are no vocally oriented. But Ls is a different story and the idols as well as Hybe should have focused mainly on this. I don't encourage the hate which the girls receive which is totally out of point of discussion, but the fact that they can't sing and were criticised for this for many months now and haven't improved at all is crazy. I tend to believe that Coachella could be excluded because the vibe of their songs don't match such kind of festival because they are sung in low range. But the encore stages prove the above written.
@@annanowak9620 I have been taking vocal lessons for three months now and can say that the girls cannot sing. I see myself being more stable than them in terms of standing still and singing (I talk about the type of encore stages because festivals are different story). I showed the videos which are now deleted by Hybe to my teacher and she said that the girls don't have powerful voices which results in a disaster in the festival because there you should have a high-pitched voice, louder, deeper, etc. I am totally hear to defend them from the hate which has turned out to be totally out of the point of discussion, but the criticised videos and statements like that video are on point.
This is what I have been saying about the switch to pre-recorded vocals in 4th gen. Everyone makes excuses saying "its normal to lipsync they still have talent" until shit like this happens on a global stage and they're so embarrassed that they start hating their own group...its not just hybe's fault its 100% the fans too for feeding into the delusion that you can be a good live performer with a career of only pre-recorded stages and edited vocals.
Your comment is fair. Its often hard to distinguish a genuine / personal tone in edited vocals for gen 4. (Also true - but slightly less so - for some of gen 3). There just arent many genuinely good vocal musicians in Kpop. On an international measure in the last 10 years I personally think only Hyolyn of Sistar is internationally competitive.

Modern music sucks. It's all about looks nowadays. If you call yourself a singer and you " sing " the way i just heard, well, you are living a lie, and you have no shame whatsoever. Call yourself an entertainer, a dancer, a popstar, a model, anything, but don't pretend you are a musician because you are not. The very worst is when some kids call these girls ARTISTS. I genuinely dont know a single 4th gen idol who you could say is vocally talented. Hyolyn of Sistar was the last Kpop Idol who clearly was a talented singer with international measure. There are very few.
if I was Hybe I would have sent Seventeen, they're the only Hybe group who could perform in such a stage (maybe they didn't send them because Scoups is injured and also because of their tour). Also Ateez slayed their performance and I think Stray Kids would have too.

Why do Koreans put Coachella on a pedestal? Most think it's a form of validation of an artist "making it" but the audience is mostly high and drunk especially after the legalization of marijuana in Cali. And as someone in here mentioned, Coachella's origin was rock-roll based and when Big Bang was invited but got cancelled due to Covid shutdown, they would've been the perfect representative of Kpop as they have always been the most rock-centric performers on stage. Xdinary Heroes from JYP would be the most fitting group to send to the festival and not another unprepared group of dancing monkeys who can't sing nor play any instruments.

I’ve seen worse black pink performances. I promise you any regular degular person that was there probably enjoyed themselves. It’s a festival. The losers on the internet are the ones making an uproar. Newsflash; most live performances with multiple songs and dancing have vocal errors. they always give great dance performances and i commend that. however, in a live singing setting like this, they shouldve simplified their dances or modified the songs just like what newjeans did in lollapalooza. especially after we hear how they werent even stable during encores while standing up. its just a fact that they need vocal lessons urgently. singing 10 songs with difficult choreos at the unsatisfactory singing level that they had been showing is unrealistic.

Have people seen Nmixx tho? They debuted around the same time, their songs and choreography are harder at times, and yet they almost always sing live, if you've seen their dance practice they always sing live without any difficulty. And yet the arent as popular because of their songs/mixpop.
so far as I've seen the vocal line in BTS struggles. jk has innate talent to really do well on a live stage. the rap line are not vocalists and no some cropped video you saw on the internet with them singing does not mean they are vocalists. if you still believe that then you have sheep mentality. their actual raw talent often get eased out of discussions because people call them vocalists , why? the rest of bts also do a good job, but I've seen instances when you can see them really strain. it's not the sign of a seasoned vocalist like say jonghyun, chen, etc. so yes they do lack in singing but hybe tries to overpower these traits with performance and fan interactions so we can overlook.
W2 sounded a lot better, I think toning down the choreo so they can have more room to sing is a great idea. Their vocals aren’t developed enough to intensely dance while singing so this approach is good while they’re improving.
Srsly they sounded really bad and no excuse can change this. So what if they debuted just 2 years back? BP was basically a 2 year grp also when they performed in Coachella 2019 (April) but they ate! They need srs vocal training and should accept their mistake. About dancing and singing at the same time, weren't they supposed to be trained for that? Every grp does that! That's not an excuse. They don't have to do every single choreo in Coachella! It's not a dance competition. You have to sing there and hype the crowd with that. Very disappointing fr!

BlackPink and Ateez gave their all, they both ate the stage ❤❤ but for aespa ( everything was perfect but they lacked sp) I am sure if aespa attended Coachella now they would have definitely hyped up the crowd ❤. But now some fans of le sserafim are comparing this to aespa's and saying we don't need a silent performance we only need a performance with energy. We don't care 'bout the vocals. So now anybody can become an idol..... Vocal is one of the main things needed for an idol. you can't defend your idol for this. If you keep on defending they will never improve.
First things first. I think it is only right to criticize even your own Favorite group. Even your favorite group is not doing everything right all the time. I think this is something many kpop fans dont understand anymore. Secondly You said something that is absolutly true. Many Idols become idols because of their looks and less because of their singing. You can see that here or in other groups. I can understand why somebody like Soyeon from (G)-Idle is completly pissed of from things like that. And I dislike that too. Just because you can hide your non signing skills through lip syncing doesnt mean you should become a Idol. But I think this is a far deeper problem from the whole Industry. And damn I havnt heard about that letter that makes everything even more bad. Like 2 year "rookies". How long will you call youself rookies tho. Other groups completly surpassed you in vocal skill and probably even in Dancing while been even more "rookies" and even without being in other groups before that.
Why these people even get the chance to debut? All those saying "they needed time" are you crazy? You should be ready when you debut not after that wtf.,. its so embarrassing!! They should stop and end their carrer,. i call it karma for what happend to NJ and sakura? she is an idol for more than 10 years
lesserafim is literally my favorite group. But this i can’t defend this, this is one of the worst Coachella kpop performances and they can’t sing, if your defending them i don’t know what to say 🤷♀️
And then you have a group like Babymonster who debuted after them and has mulltiple members that are still teenagers, yet they have much stronger vocals and waaaaay better stage presence. I genuinely don't know how Hybe trains Le Sserafim, but they need to make serious changes. It's a shame cuz they have members with great vocals.
Why everybody is making a big deal? They need to practice but I don't think people should ask for disbandment or the end of the career. Embarrassing is the companies from Korea to other countries, and their bosses mistreat their employees the way they do in Korea that is really embarrassing. About BTS and Blackpink there are many times they made.miatakes just go and check how many time Jimin makes mistakes. Blackpink just shout in their rap parts and let the backtrack sing the difficult parts or when they are out of breath.

Well, at least high school studentów don't use backtracks
Bro check out 2nd and 3rd gen performance in stage...... even 1st gen Lee hyori which recently got popular..... check them before talking about live performance
@@MariZepetoOff exactly. 2nd and 3rd. No one talks about 4th and 5th gen cuz most of them don't know how to sing.
Hilarious.
I mean she was obviously addressing the hate comments. There were also definitely more hate comments than genuine criticism on social media.
Not one person paid so much money to see them complain and they had a good time, anyone here actually were there to see them.
Of course you will not see idols criticise themselves.

i also want to remind everyone that jpop is a completely industry, where singers get basically no vocal training, and her years in izone, they also received little to NO vocal training since they were a temporary group (we can tell with the ive girlies and how much their techniques have changed / improved). so it isnt until le sserafim that kurra has actually gotten proper training as she (and kazuha) also skipped the trainee era that chaewon or yunjin had
And she did improve. She was very stable.
This is what I have been saying about the switch to pre-recorded vocals in 4th gen. I mean, the whole 4th and 5th gen is like this. Only 3 groups can be savbed.
Your comment is fair. Its often hard to distinguish a genuine / personal tone in edited vocals for gen 4. (Also true - but slightly less so - for some of gen 3). @@appllepiee235 Yeah, I've been to Coachella several times. They make every artist sing live basically, it's not specifically kpop. Because they can cut off most of the backtrack in the livestreams. It's a celebration of music.
Yall would have trolled hated bashed harassed them even then dont act fool...
Why was the reason of their debut? They could've at LEAST gave em vocal training
So SB19... This means COACHELLA SHOULD BE YOUR STAGE. . SHOW TO THEM WHAT REALLY MUSIC AND ARTIST/SINGER IS
Telling then to disband is too much..
yep
this is fraud!!! none of these kpop quacks will fool the world! their fans are fricking delusional! looks and dancing is purely frosting, but there is no cake underneath just cardboard! they will not be able to change or improve in singing...that takes years!
Literally
Nah it's the right thing.
Not really. If an employee performs their job terribly they get fired. Idols are no different
Imo Chaewon carried the performance
I mean, I am not a big fan of Le sserafim. However, after seeing their performance, I think their company might not have prepared them enough. However, i can also agree that their dance is so good
They were not ready, just a rocky groupe, it still hurts my ears sync that night 😖😖 all fake so disepointed 🤚
I've been a fan since 2nd gen. 2nd gen fans better apologise to all those idols for saying they couldn't sing (eg Yoona from SNSD) because they can sing circles around a good chunk of the 4th gen idols.
Have people seen Nmixx tho?
They debuted around the same time, their songs and choreography are harder at times, and yet they almost always sing live, if you've seen their dance practice they always sing live without any difficulty.
And yet the arent as popular because of their songs/mixpop.
Criticism aside but asking a grp to disband is just pure hate and bullying.
Lol what do y'all mean they sing so beautifully and they rock. These comments breaks my heart as a 피어나
For me eunchae is the worst vocal in le sserafim..i just dont like her voice sound like there food in her mouth
like what is that face

bts have never lacked in singing? What world are you in?
in the real one ig, how's everything in the world where they lack in singing? probably sucks :(
Nah bts lacked and in fact still lack in singing especially Jimin
😂😂
Bts actually lacks somewhere if they stop force jimin and jin singing like butter and dynamite😂😂they only in rap department
so far as I've seen the vocal line in BTS struggles. jk has innate talent to really do well on a live stage.
the rap line are not vocalists and no some cropped video you saw on the internet with them singing does not mean they are vocalists. if you still believe that then you have sheep mentality. their actual raw talent often get eased out of discussions because people call them vocalists , why?
the rest of bts also do a good job, but I've seen instances when you can see them really strain. it's not the sign of a seasoned vocalist like say jonghyun, chen, etc.
so yes they do lack in singing but hybe tries to overpower these traits with performance and fan interactions so we can overlook.
W2 sounded a lot better, I think toning down the choreo so they can have more room to sing is a great idea. Their vocals aren’t developed enough to intensely dance while singing so this approach is good while they’re improving.
They literally just increased the backtrack volume bruh thats not improvement 😭
Honestly, I can't even recognise which song they're singing at this point 😂
Srsly they sounded really bad and no excuse can change this. So what if they debuted just 2 years back? BP was basically a 2 year grp also when they performed in Coachella 2019 (April) but they ate! They need srs vocal training and should accept their mistake. About dancing and singing at the same time, weren't they supposed to be trained for that? Every grp does that! That's not an excuse. They don't have to do every single choreo in Coachella! It's not a dance competition. You have to sing there and hype the crowd with that. Very disappointing fr!
Like Le Sserafim’s songs and videos going into watching this video but wow-those vocals were disappointing . They have a lot of work to do on those live performances. and yes I agree that Baby Monsters vocals are on POINT.
Grouo really made me dislike them.. at first i liked them cuz atleast their songs were good if not live vocals but later members came up with lame excuses and not caring at all how much their own fans must be disappointed.. members didn't seem to be guilty or trying to improve, they just seem to be blaming here and there... Can't even listen to them anymore

But this i can’t defend this, this is one of the worst Coachella kpop performances and they can’t sing, if your defending them i don’t know what to say 🤷♀️
if garam still a member, at least there are one person who can sing
Period somebody said it
I'm really shock about Sakura sings really horrible
Blackpink just shout in their rap parts and let the backtrack sing the difficult parts or when they are out of breath.
looks over talent . The way they sang their own songs it's like they can't do the live performance , just only relying in lipsync.
😂😂😂 Ok , may be just 3 or over 3 mins of 40 mins. In you vedio, even using twice just over 8 minutes right and you also add other blabla bla. every hater uploaded the same short click.
if I made a full compilation we'd be here for 40 hours my brother
How about uploading the rest of the best parts of their performance? Would love to see.
@@viperbaelet not lie
MRs removed tend to mess up the audio a bit but yeah...they just....some of the members have a small glimmer of potential but for that i think they should disband and get vocal training then return.

Lol they can do what they want ur not the ones paying them😂
This whole situation actually just put me on to how good their concept and styling is though.
If i go there to watch that i would like my money back
what was that are they really singers????
And i was complaining about Blackpink....💀
They still sound bad
They don’t deserve that much hating, dang it. Maybe they weren’t ready for coachella, but y’all shouldn’t sue them that much, I feel bad for them :(
I would sue why tf I wasted my money to see mediocre performance mind you GFRIEND ( the group that was forced to disband to debut Le Sserafim) has had amazing vocals every performance and still could dance, they had harder choreography and Yuju was still able to hit three high notes so there really isn’t any excuse for the lack of quality
Look, I get why people are disappointed and fair criticism is fair. As a fan myself, even I know when the girls are awkward. They really need to be trained with live performances and crowd control like how Mamamoo does it.
But what pisses me the most if people who disguise their hate as fair criticism. These people are the same people who preach for fans to be kinder with their faves but will bury a group alive if they were given a chance to. Their performative advocacy is really pissing me off. Do you not have any other hobby than to be a miserable freak and dedicate your life into being a loser? Move on with your lives or get the help you finally need. If anyone feels hurt by what I’m saying, better rethink your choices if what you’re doing is actually something that will benefit the lives of many, especially yours.
The irony of you bringing up BTS and Blackpink for this when they were the ones who set the precedent for this. They’re not good vocalists either.
Blackpink is a Blackpink legend, the queen has no equal
That is y'all get hate
2ne1 aswell
I blame HYBE a lot more than Le Sserafim. They’re not seasoned or experienced enough performers for an event as big as Coachella, simple as. If HYBE was so hellbent on them being there, they should’ve insisted on more vocal practice for the girls.
It's that mjn woman's fault
Do better
Sakura has been in the industry for forever and Yujin was on produce.
Hybe is shit. Thats it.
