I called the service where they assign you a family doc, went to see him once, everything fine. Then, I went for another appointment months later, turns out he moved offices. I tracked him to his new office and the secretary said I wasn't his patient anymore, that he was under no obligation to carry over his patients. My doc ghosted me, so I'm very happy these two found each other. Maybe it will happen for me too, one day.

:-) Another brilliant 22 Minutes sitcom episode this time illustrating that the shortage of family physicians up here in Canada cannot be cured with the strategy of portraying ourselves as possessing better Hollywood (or Eurovision) style femininity while going walk in clinic door to walk in clinic door in hopes of finally finding a family doctor; Any family doctor willing to take us Canadians on the move (by appointment). Will Trudeau save us from needing more family physicians? Will Pierre Polievre save us from needing more family physicians? Or instead should we all take our excellent manners to all politicians to insist that Canada needs to make it easier for family physicians to come back home or move to Canada without them then having to go through med school all over again.
