God also calls Himself We in the book of Genesis. For example God said: "Let Us make man in Our Image" Here was a clear example of the Holy Trinity speaking through scripture. Jesus is and always has been “Lord.” The word is used in Acts 2:36 in a completely different context. Peter was quoting the OT in support of the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The verse is referring to Jesus’ taking on of the flesh and being in a lowered position, and in that sense was Jesus “made” Lord.

God also calls Himself We in the book of Genesis. For example God said: "Let Us make man in Our Image" Here was a clear example of the Holy Trinity speaking through scripture. Later, as people started believing in false and many gods, Our Lord started using the singular to refer to Himself. When first downloaded and started reading the Quran a couple years ago I was surprised by seeing instances of We, so I did a word search of "We creat" and "Our" and "Us" to see the extent, which were many. For example it says things like "We created the Earth" and "We created the heavens" it also says "We gave Adam Our Spirit" All of these look to me like Our Lord snuck some truths into the Quran for Muslims to find. Listening to you, I suppose it was just a mistake or perhaps the Deceiver or Legion is making a mistake. Either way, it shows the Quran lacking. But when discussing these things with a Muslim, it would be first to explain to them that the Quran is incorrect in saying that we, Christians, believe in 3 gods, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We don't. We believe in one God, as can be shown in The Apostles Creed, used by Catholics, Orthodox, Anglicans, Episcopalians, some Methodists, Lutherans, and Other denominations, along with The Nicaean Creed, and many scriptures in the Bible, along with the faith statements of many other Protestant denominations, those that don't use the Apostles Creed.

@@donhue4546Jesus is the name of Gods spirit in human flesh. The human form (Jesus) was crucified but because He was God and had no sin in Him, death couldn’t keep Him and He rose again 3 days later. It’s only His human body that died and rose again. He existed prior to being born as a human named Jesus because He is eternal.

@@Scott48-m7e Referring to himself and the Father. In Christianity we do not believe in a God with a singular essence, we believe God is divided into three, therefore plural makes sense in Christianity, but not in Islam.
The Quranic "We" is unidentified and contradictory to the claim that Islam is a pure monotheistic religion of a singular God.
it doesn't even fit the narrative that claims 'We" refers to God and the angels, when speaking of verses in which context refers to creation. Angels didn't create anything. Angels are creation of God themselves.
Therefore there is absolutely no explanation for the plural in the Quran, except it comes from demonic speech. It is the most convincing diabolic lie ever to be revealed, but unfortunately it will only lead to Hell.
The whole purpose of the Quran is to deny the crucifixion of Christ for atonement of sins, everything else is purely a mask to make it a belieavable religion. That part alone, is the main idea behind Islam, that will send billions to Hellfire.

With that first example verse, I was more confused by the rapid shift from 3rd person to 1st person than I was the use of "we" for a singular person.

Is it me, or does anyone else resonate with me with this problem: Islam clearly rejects the trinity, but why does it feel like Islam is mimicking the trinity in some way?, there's allah, the "holy spirit" who is angel Gabriel and then there's Mohammed who is exalted beyond measure (like as if he is the Messiah but is clearly not). Anyone? Anyone? It's like you go to the store to buy cereal and there's the original Name Brand and there's the cheaper lower end substitute, which looks somewhat the same but is not.
