- It's finally time to install this long overdue upgrade at The Shmuseum! We return to Building My Dream Garage with an update on the progress and next steps, along with the workshop supported by LIQUI MOLY. That's not all, we've got a busy update with many bits of news and changes!
This former milking parlour on a farm outside of London is undergoing a huge change to become my dream garage and home to the Shmeemobiles. Taking inspiration from many garages that I've visited across the world in recent years, I've designed my ultimate setup and we're now making that reality! From the offices, lounge and halo space housed in the Grandstand, through to the Racetrack painted throughout, this is something I've been excited about completing for years.
This series will showcase the transformation, bringing progress like never before, resulting in my dream garage at The Shmuseum. Martin and the team from Novus Workspace Solutions are cracking on at an immense pace, and it's a huge thanks to them for everything going into this alongside our other amazing partners making it happen.

It's so nice to hear Brad again! I'd much prefer to hear Brad then to just see him muted haha. The lighting looks awesome, and yeah some spot lights for the up top cars would be amazing.

You can put the Ferrari badge on the white piece of wall. Put the dark blue flag away and in the middle with the foot on the dark blue wall so you can see from every where. Would be nice.

A great addition would be ED CHINA as your master mechanic. Working away in your shop corner. All repairs could be done in-house and would add more technical content.
I really like the contrast of light with the cars lit up below and the cars on the top in slight shadow...it's atmospheric with all other mood lighting on

The one thing I always missed in the Shmuseum was proper lighting. It's helpful if you film in there to hae everything as bright as possible, but it doesn't help the atmosphere and mood. With more of these strips and maybe some spotlights this place will turn into an even cooler garage!

Shmee150 Absolutely Incredible Video I think it's awesome that the Shmuseums Bathroom and Kitchenette are coming along well and I'm glad all of your Bendpak Auto Stackers finally have lighting and I think it looks absolutely incredible and I loved the Higher Video quality because it made the colors of the all Shmeemobiles pop
12:45 You can have some large logos printed on magnetic material.. like a large refrigerator magnet for those cabinet doors

this is the first video from shmee that i have been able to watch in 1440p and above. whether that existed before i dont know but certainly didnt exist on my system. so cheers. more great quality content in great playback quality

Wow, it's a new experience watching this in 4k60 on my 65" TV. Usually quite grainy. Please continue doing this for the videos where it's possible (I guess on a roadtrip it's hard but when filming at home base maybe?).

You'd be amazed how often we switch things up, but it's also a balance with filming. This has been a test, it's stressful how much more time the bigger files take up though - and not leaving until gone midnight to get it done
@Shmee150 make sure your SD cards have decent read/write speeds. Also make sure your PC's storage is taking full advantage of quick M.2 SSDs. Love your videos! Don't let the stress take over.

i know you wont see my comment but if only if you will see it it's been a while since you've done the track there is an idea and a vision that i think it will transform the look of the track, lifts and everything on the wall! on the wall at the end of the track you should put a big mirror that will create an atmosphere that you have double the cars an unlimited track it will be useful in so many ways i think it's a great idea think about it!!!

Looking at the lifts look at the sides of the top lifts were your feet are light up there
Work units I would use SHADOW FOAM
with lift see about one that sits into the floor and arms come up from the floor in a star or go two pillar lift

I think a two post lift is a must it would work so well there . And I believe you have mentioned in the past that the guys from zenvo would come to service the said vehicle if you had such equipment.

Some people use long soft springs as tensioners for keeping cords tidy.
And hiding the springs inside slightly larger tubing while the springs extend and retract.

Hey Tim, back when you had the E class estate i remember the team using the other side of the garage which was still empty as a service area. Maybe move the garage corner into that space ? you can easily convert it to a full on mod centre
