just bought my first refill. I just don't know how much ink to put into my sketch marker. The brush tip has a little ink but the chisel tip is completely dry. So how much??

I am guessing the best thing to do would be new nibs and refill inks? I first want to wait a little and see if I even use the markers much anymore, but I would really like to and I just wanted to know if that would work.
