Samsung refrigerator drawer front removal

Samsung French door refrigerators have similar drawer fronts with some variations. The slots on mine broke with pressure, so I had to find another way to get the front off. My model is #RF28R7201SR.

Thank you for sharing your struggle!
I also broke a piece off, when trying to release the tab, but it did not seem to effect anything
I actually found it harder to put the drawer back together!
On the plus side I now have one sparkly clean drawer! Debating whether it’s worth it to do the other 2 drawers.

Bad design.. it shouldn't be this difficult to clean. With a high risk of breaking

No!! That "tab" does NOT get removed by what she is doing. She is prying the tab "down". That is not the way. You need to press the tab "in". Press it together and look at the tab to see how the tab moves. So you will see what you need to do to that "tab". It is NOT EASY!!
