No one ever talks about Pre-Admission testing! M-F, no weekends, evenings or holidays. I’ve worked in PAT for the majority of my career (3 years after working the floor) and haven’t looked back!

Most of the nursing positions you mentioned in this video align with me a lot better (as oppose to being a bedside nurse in ICU, SNF, ER, etc)

I've been in case management and utilization review for about 10 years. I've done better than that pay both as a staff nurse and as a traveler. In Ohio I would say you make about $85,000 a year. Washington DC about 105,000 a year Southern California about 125,000 a year. I have been doing remote utilization review and make about 45 to $75 an hour. When I did on site travel positions for case management I made closer to $150,000

I think it's one of those jobs where it's not for everyone. Some people get a lot of joy from working with kids and actually find it more stressful working with adults than with kids.
