I enjoyed your performance and was able to hear all of your phrases because the very excellent pianist did not overwhelm your very pleasant sound. I am 77yrs old and returned to my clarinet 10yrs ago after 40 yrs in medicine. It has literally saved my life as performing with good musicians is the most nourishing experience one can hope for. I wish you well and keep working as the work is never totally done. jules
Thank you all very much!
Ahhhh good memories, I loved playing this piece! Excellent performance :)
I like the piano very much. it is a cogent company . great!
Beautiful tone. Great job.
I know how difficult this piece is. I've got a Clarinet 'camp' with a solo competition for advanced Clarinetists coming up...Tuesday. Being a Junior in HS, I have to have it memorized, which is no easy feat. You did a fantastic job with this. I only have to have the first movement memorized as that's all that I am playing.
@JulesMElias Thank you! The pianist is really excellent, the best I know :)
i like the speed, i hear a galloping pattern in the piano so it sounds good.
that second movement is really difficult! nice work, i love your tone in the middle/low register very dark.
Thank you very much! This is my first performance of this piece, I have better recording from international competition in Macedonia...
@Clarinetmoon93 the first part is in cut time, the secont part is a fast 5/8
Allthough 3/8 4/8 6/8 and the tretourous 7/8 are thrown in as well for good measure :)
Why do they want it memorised!?! Crazy!
wow nice work here! same as all the comments below but i think your Lento section in the second movement was a little fast (i think its marked 50 bpm) though still an overall excellent performance (and also -- the high G and F sharps were awesome good work!)
Could you possible send me the pdf or picture format f the second movement....Everything sounds simplistic except for the 2nd movement..I've been told that the counting is difficult...But it would be awesome if I could see how this piece is befor eI buy it..thianks.
Do you know where to find this sheet music for free...hlp would be great,..I want to play this year for my solo but I'd like to test it out before buying the original...
I only think first movement is a little bit fast, but anyway really nice!
Could you send me the sheet music for the second movement..I can't find this anywhere and I need to test it out before buying it :/
Could you scan just the second movement and send me the pdf....I want to play this piece for Senior Recital and S&E but I only have recordings to go off of.
Mmm, I think as a while you took this too fast, it's supposed to be more contemplative. That said, though, your technique is very good!
