Having been bitten twice and numerous snake encounters on hikes and kayak trips. I watch channels like yours to prevent developing a fear of snakes. Georgia is so beautiful.
I've been bitten 1 time by a copperhead or I should say by venomous snakes was my fault but they truly beautiful always looking for snakes have raised them to take them to educational events
Hi Noah how are you doing today i saw two bald eagles fighting in the sky in Illinois yesterday in a park it was amazing to see in person and i got a baby alligator snapping turtle from underground reptiles
Hi Noah, so unpredictable sometimes! Surprising days are always great and in a way it gets us to think a bit differently. Always watch your channel and look forward to the winter herps.
Great episode, one of the best I've seen in awhile. Always enjoy when you include other things in your videos besides herps. I'd like to see you do more of it
I love love love to watch your videos. I really appreciate you taking the time to show it all. It was so good to see your Mama on there. I'm older now and not really in very good shape to go herping myself..actually before the last year or two I really didn't like snakes! But I have really been trying to learn about them and one day I would love to own a hognose.i appreciate being able to go with you on your missions. I have learned so much from yo about the snakes, turtles, salamanders, frogs, and lizards. I wish I was financially able to support your channel because if I was I certainly would! The least I can do is thank you, your Mom and Dad, and your friends! Sometimes when people can't support you financially, I pray that the happiness you bring to us at least warms your heart some! Your awesome, please don't ever stop herping, I would miss you so much that I would be very lost! ❤️❤️
Wow! Happy Thanksgiving to us! What a video full of all kinds of good things. I wish you guys had more luck with snapping turtles, but at least you saw those 2. That spider was really interesting 🧐 and something I didn’t even know existed. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this and I hope you had a great holiday with family and or friends. Thanks for the awesome work as always. Take care!!! 😄💙🐬🐊🐍🫶🏼
Trifoliata was used extensively as rootstock for grafted citrus. It's very cold hardy, so if the graft gets frozen, the rootstock remains - spikes and all. I believe it's considered an invasive species now.
As kids growing up in Renton Washington we lived next to a place called may valley.. We were always exploring the woods and sometimes get into nettles so wood go down to the creek and put mud on the sting.. We would tell our parents their were small crabs in that May creek ..! Of course they thought we were exaggerating..! It turns out they were crawdads…! They are kinda like a small Lobster and somewhat rare .. Well that May Creek drains into Lake Washington and now years later the Seattle Seahawks Headquarters and practice field sits pretty darn close to where we used to fish and swim .. I do know there are still crawdads in lake Washington but not sure about that small creek behind our house about 2.5 miles up from the lake.. We dunt have snapping turtles in that lake but there are big sturgeon that some people thought were sea monsters ..LOL 😅
Probably winter is starting to affect animals. That is why most snakes and box turtles are hiding and cryptic musk turtles and alligator snapping turtles are in the open. Nice kingsnake that was rattling all the time and large alligator snapper also.
hey just a note, with the brown snake it says harmless but you should specify what brownsnake it is because you have alot of australian veiwers and the australian brown snake will kill a child in 15 minutes
A lot of the non native plants and trees around abandoned houses were probably planted by the former owners of that property and are probably left over from the time when the people lived there. Trees, shrubs and bushes can actually live for many decades. There's an abandoned property near where I live. The house fell down many years ago but the rose bushes and other bushes are still growing on the property without human intervention and have pretty much taken over.
Noah how can y’all tell that’s a new turtle that fast ? Do y’all mark them by some means for identification purposes? Just curious because of how fast he said new turtle

I have seen a lot of snapping turtles but no alligator ones here in Tennessee.

Commenting as per Gregs orders 🫡
Great video, hard to get sick of alligator snappers! Loved that first king, subtle beauty
Box turtles under tin? Never seen that before.
how come there is so much metal out there. and do you ever run into alligators?
All those Cotten mouths and not one chase
Was that King Snake trying to immitate a rattlesnake by shaking its tail?
Yes

I’ve trapped that location previously and it produced a 89lb male, the female was new and also unmarked.
@@GregsTurtleHaven got ya - was just curious how fast you knew- love what you guys do
We are destroying habitat one species at a time,as fast as we can every year.Sad
I didn't realize Alligator snappers were in N Georgia
