This episode has SO many iconic moments, the waterbottle break up scene of tom and greg, "attack child", "mo-lester" and connors hilarious speech, roman learning a lot- about buisness AND himself, the start of roman and gerri, kendall and shiv's beautifully acted scene at the end. A top episode for me!

Jeremy strong acting in that scene breaking down felt so raw it was something that Kendall as the character needed and seeing shiv reaction also showed another side of her we haven’t seen before
Rob- You were right when you said there was chemistry between Gerri and Roman. The writers came up with the Gerri/Roman dynamic based on the chemistry between J. Smith-Cameron and Kieran Culkin behind the scenes. They've known each other for years and would banter and riff off of each other in extra takes, so the Gerri/Roman relationship was born. Also interesting is that J. Smith-Cameron ad-libbed calling Roman a slime puppy in their phone call. 😆
J. Smith Cameron was a smokin’ babe when she was younger. The Geri-Roman scene actually works so well because she *_definitely still_* has that hot young woman in her and she brought it out perfectly lmfaooo. Totally out of left field, but somehow it makes perfect sense 😂
The siblings (Connor included) relationship with each other and their relationship with Logan is just so interesting and heartbreaking. I do think they love and care for each other to an extent, but being Logan’s children and being raised the way they were raised.. they never really had a chance :(

Yeah Tom definitely takes a lot of shit from everyone in the family, not just Shiv. He has issues standing up for himself in general. Also look at the relationships of all the kids, Kendall and Rava got divorced and he doesn't spend time with his kids at all. Roman started this weird thing with Gerri. Connor had to buy Willa. Then there's Shiv & Tom... they did not have great examples of how to treat relationships. I get cheating is the most familiar for a lot of people but like people keep saying, they ALL have issues. Kendall used to do drugs around his kids and Logan beat Roman and treats people like they're disposable. They learned that from him and we have seen examples of Roman and Kendall treating people like that so far, people just like Tom so there's so much more smoke for Shiv. And honestly if the tone wasn't so comedic towards Connor and Willa's situation it would be way more uncomfortable to watch.

I don't need Shiv to be likable but they're all unlikable and there's a huge disparity between how people react to Shiv behaving badly vs how people react to Kendall or Roman behaving badly. They don't understand her character and it's weird to see people give so much thought into other characters but with Shiv it kind of just starts and ends at them finding her annoying or awful. People say Willa could "just leave" Connor when Tom could do the same with Shiv, it's quite literally the same situation just one is portrayed as more comedic than the other.
I don't think it's love they've never had it that's why they're so awkward with showing emotion it's more like they care for each other to a certain point everything is transactional even "love".
