Yet the suit can be penetrated easily by a petrified human with knife arms and behavior similar to that of weeping angels, which will result in his death.
In the actual story the suit is being made by the foundation and he’s a technician that worked on the suit’s energy grid so knows what it does

Scp 5000 is basically a mechanical venom
It's better than venom.
Venom required extreme amounts of nutrition to stay alive, and had vulnerabilities to sound and fire. It brought loads of attention to the wearer, and would disrupt the wearer's temperature regulation.On the other hand, SCP-5000 can most likely not be removed, and I'm guessing that the wearer will have to experience his brain telling him that he is thirsty and hungry on a constant basis.

Okay, did you guys even read the SCP? Oh my god, you realize that SCP-5000 is an Absolute Exclusionary Suit designed by the foundation. Site 22 is a exclusionary site that was desinged to have personnel excluded from reality in case of reality altering event. The SCP's have not been "let loose" the foundation declared war on humanity. SCP-5000 did appear in SCP-579's chamber but only after Pietro reset the universe. SCP-5000 was probably not even desingated a SCP in the universe pietro was in, it was probably just a expxiermental suit to allow them to explore a changed reality while staying excluded.

@@MartinB-qz2ls good, because it would be pretty disappointing if they just did 1 video about scp 5000. Yes, scp 5000 itself is the suit, but what makes scp 5000 amazing is the story behind it.
In the original version, or at the very least the submission I read (I could already tell at that time it was going to win, the writing was perfect) it’s barely about the suit at all. In fact, the suit wasn’t an SCP, it was just a prototype the foundation engineers were working on. It’s only an SCP in the modern day foundation, and that’s more likely because they don’t know why the foundation is killing people. The entire SCP is written like a tale in log form.
There’s a couple other things that don’t match up. Normally he goes straight to the suit because he knows about it, and normally instead of just giving him stealth it actually has the memetic ability to convince everyone else that he’s not there and they can’t tell they’re looking at him at all.
As cool as that suit is NOT being able to take it off terrifies me. I get CLAUSTROPHOBIC thinking about it. It would be horror to have to stay inside that suit for the rest of my life.

Scp-5000, is my favorite story ever. It's full of mystery and has dark moments. For those who don't know. The Foundation basically declared war on humanity and aims to exterminate. They do this by releasing highly dangerous SCP's and terminating friendly scps. You may ask why? Well, im not totally sure; there was talk about how that those who were allowed to live in the foundation had their souls removed, because they found something in the human brain they found so horrible that they removed their humanity instead and decide to destroy humans because it was a mercy. "The Foundations fights, so they may die in the dark."
May favorite parts of that story: The Commander of the "Village Idiots." Stabbing her Unit, the Blinker, and object 55 when you read the story it kind tells you what it's for and now that I think of it may be the reason is a self kept secret.
Also, I think in the story the foundation accepted a deal from 682.

No, the suit was created for the maximum care and security of its user, it gives any nutrient that the body of the user needs at the moment, multiple tools that enhance the user physical attributes, perception and reception and a stealth system that makes him non existent for anyone around him. His source could anything as its totally unknown, but it came up from the same place that the suit knew it had to go in order to keep assisting its user: SCP-579.
Nope it was made to keep its wearer alive no matter what and was teleported in shortly before a world ending scenario so It's purpose is probably to keep its user alive until they Could reach scp055 to reset the human race
This is basically a SCP version of Iron man's suit+venom's symbiote

the story has been changed, probably to fit a better narative purpose, the suit is part of foundation equipment, not a SCP, and Pietro knows about it, including it's effects, it become SCP after the event.
SCP-5000 is not the suit, is the event that happened and recorded in the suit.

Lots of good aspects too. But lack of precision, no real auto mode and expensive 5.7 ammo. I still love it.
In the animation they sometimes transform into AR-15... 🤷♂️
