Casey, i love your channel. Even with all these problems, you are still making great content. The video about trailer specs and bridge laws was very interesting. I live in Italy and our heavy haul trucks need roughly half the lenght for the same weight. They mostly are fitted with steerable axles, as our streets are much narrower and curvyer than in the US.
And the one with Howard Hughes' flying monster was better than everything i found when i was searching YT especially for it.
I keep my fingers crossed for more luck with the stubborn rollback.

However, three of the nuts for the U bolts were damaged. I have been to 15 different places looking. I finally ordered the nut from a company locally who is nationally known. They ordered me the wrong size, so I went to a nearby city, and again I got the wrong size. But I know sooner or later, the good Lord will provide, he will do the same for you, Casey.

Also, those little seatbelt tensioners are so underrated! I'm shorter than the average driver, so seatbelt placement is always too high for me in trucks, even with the seat aired up. Only a couple of our trucks had those tensioners, and the difference in my daily comfort was incredible. No belt cutting into the side of my neck all day.

One helpful way to determine a trailer length not in your presence is to get a photo of the vin number. Most, not all, vin's will give you the length in the 5th and 6th digit. Some manufactures use actual length and some use a code. Figuring out the code can be tough as some double the length and would use 06 (106') for a 53' trailer while others the code is not as obvious. 7th digit is number of axles.

The only consolations is to think of buying a car for transportation for a given time and the exact car may change from time to time. This is the first vehicle we purchased with an 'extended warrantee', don't know what prompted us to do so but it has paid off - there, that's my rant. Yes, things like that are frustrating but they happen. You are right on when you said you didn't want to get mad about it. That's the best attitude to have. It means something else will work out. I looked for fifteen years for one thing I wanted until I finally found it and was able to buy it. I saw lots of possibilities but none were just right. So these things happen for a reason. I found that out when I was in my teens. Keep your chin up and don't look back.

Well, that sucks! You keep on drawing blanks in the trailer department. Hopefully, you'll find the right trailer at the right price, in mint condition... Good things happen to those who wait and serve!

I'm always amazed at your maneuvering and backing skills! And how very long rigs you drive. They look like a block long, Wonder if the seller's measuring tool was inaccurate, I've seen that in cheap tape measures.

You are as frustrated as i am waiting on a delivery. Ordered a solar system On August 1st and i am still waiting for delivery. Been told 4 times it would ship in a day or two. Finally the 5th time i got a tracking number 2 days later. Its now somewhere between California and its next stop in Illinois. Its till needs to get to indiana though. They claim it will arrive the 6th. I imagine my frustration with this is the same as you waiting on tbe rollback to get finished and to work properly. Good luck finding a trailer you want. They are out there....the question is where is it. At least you have your family to pass the time with while you wait. Some of us don't have anyone. You are very lucky!

Sorry for your luck Casey. I’m getting pretty used to measurements always being wrong in the equipment moving world.

Sorry about the Trailer, US97 mountain identifier is very cool, especially when it's not cloudy. Worth the trip in my opinion to see the mountains.

That's tough luck man but I've seen you have a positive attitude. 😊 Everything happens for a reason and sometimes that's because strength and patience aren't free. It's difficult to be grateful for everything when we don't understand and that's okay we're human. But be grateful for it anyway because you still have a beat. Follow it. Just like when you taught your daughter how to make a good day out of a disappointment with the first one

I was in Tri-Cities when St Helens went off. "Chicken Little, the sky was falling." With all a the talent in yer neighborhood, why not build the trlr you need, your way? Just a thought.
    Thanks for sharing.🏁🇺🇸👍 Blessings!

Hang in there man. Take you some time, enjoy the family a bit. Let yourself breath and refresh a little bit. Then you can get back to the grind of it when the time is right. I've had a similar struggle myself, and it has been extremely disheartening. But it will pass. Just roll with the punches, and enjoy a little staycation for now.
Hopefully you get some good news before long.
