This I agree with. SM knows how to make weird songs very catchy and memorable, and it's been a theme for the company for a long time. Take I Got a Boy from Girls' Generation, which was probably the first song to experiment with songs within a song. I still love that song to this day. "Flat" - the place where æ came from and where they live, outside which is "Kwangya". When the avatars are in Flat, they can be communicated with through Synk through the various technologies and applications that they penetrate. "Kwangya" - the digital world in which æ are located, existing beyond the Internet and not controlled by any rules. It is an unexplored, boundless and eternally expanding, unbridled extension. It's a bop. Their vocals, the rap, the choreography, the pre chorus, the bridge, especially the chorus that gimme gimme now and the way they ends the song everything is just great.
KWANGYA isn't a meme! It's a place that connects all the artists of SM and sets up the universe they're creating. We don't know what or where exactly it is yet but it's already showed up in Aespa and NCT songs. Also in Don't fight the feeling by EXO.
Kwangya is not a meme, but it became a meme I swear its a pun that SM stans use a lot now since aespa debuted, "you will get thrown to kwangya if you don't-" like that kind of puns, its really funny.
22:13 that's exactly why as an nctzen i got into aespa instantly, i've been waiting for the neo sound in girl groups too, and they execute it perfectly... i think that has to do with being under sm too, they shape their artists to be able to fit very bold concepts
I think black mamba was meant to be Aespa’s introduction in terms of music, aesthetics and story. So even if their music was on the hard side, to introduce them with the more elegant, fantasy aesthetic was probably purposeful because that aesthetic hasn’t really been done before and I think it also matches the story because they haven’t yet been tainted by the darkness (black mamba) and are thriving in their own world. So their aesthetic getting progressively more badass was probably purposeful to show that they’re getting ready to fight black mamba (in next level) and then fighting black mamba (in savage).
I'm really interested on how the story line is going to progress, since it looks like they defeated the Eye thing (I'm guessing a part of the black mamba) but the way Winter looks back and the darkness covers them seem to indicate their victory was hollow. So, I'm hoping their next adventure is going to be a fight between themselves and their aes. Anyway if SM does not release a book after the story is over I'm suing, no cap.
Loved Savage from the first listen. There is no boring part in this song. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the last chorus. Also I'm obsessed with Winter this comeback, I couldn't take my eyes off her and her singing was phenomenal :D
I just realized this has the same vibes what Cherry Bomb gave me. Especially, that bridge feels like you're floating then after the dance break is just pure energy. (Probably, Ning's vocals really amazes me so much.) Ps. I used to say this is "meh" not until I go to listen this to my IEM. The production here is heavenly.
10:25 - Yes PD, she's Karina. Literally we can say, Karina is the definition of an all-rounder!! She's the Main-dancer of aespa, her rap flow is amazing, she can hit high notes, a-i visuals (more beautiful than her Ae version lol), and an eye catching center !!! One of the most finest idol of k-pop✨🛐!!
Totally get what you’re saying PD about the weirdness / experimental textures that aespa creates and I definitely think similar people or teams are flexing between them and NCT127. People are definitely split on their music but I personally think their wackiness is so refreshing in the gg industry.

this comeback was actually really powerfull. The girls really showed their rapping and vocal skills. Im really proud of them and I believe that their future is bright!! Thank you for the reaction💖
I love the 2nd chorus when Karina comes to singing and in the background have piano sounds, it literally sounds emotional at the same time when the chaos starts to begin!??, I am speechless.
Giselle sacrificed by going super high in her rap part to create the big contrast with the low tone pre chorus. She has a great natural rap tone…. Check her out in [Sync]
PD, Aespa made a whole damn short film covering all the terms used in this like Kwangya, Naevis, etc! Would love if you checked it out, on or off camera, its dope!
Actually on the rapping part that you did not like.. I was kind of thinking the same thing as you, but the plot twist to it, Giselle was actually has deeper voice than the rest of the members. She was the best for that section. It's just I don't know why SM producers did what they did with their decision on that high pitch rapping. Anyway the song still dope though! 🔥
I agree. Everything was perfect except that high pitched rap done by Giselle. Giselle has more deep tone and I wish SM would make her rap suited to her voice. But she's still doing a great job!
@@helloworld-sl2lw You are right! But let's not forget Giselle got years of experience singing in alto. It's an easy job for Giselle to put more weight in her voice. Anyway I still put the blame on the producers 😂
Am I the only one who finds Giselle's scream rap as high-pitched/thin timbre rap and I'm actually into that part? I know HyunA and Jimin also do high-pitched raps but they are squeaky and pikachu-ish (tho Giselle's first rap lines in the second verse are slightly squeaky/pikachu-ish). I really love how Giselle's rap timbre "neutralized" the supposedly high-pitched rap. Idek but if I would imagine other members doing that rap instead, then it would hyped and powerful, but I guess less sassy and unapologetic? Idek Giselle's rapping style really exudes those unique feels.
I think that fierce rap part actually suits Giselle very best, and definitely she's the best pick from all of the members. That's actually my favourite part of the whole song. No wonder she's the main rapper, she's firm, she sounds full, piercing, powerful. None of the other members is better suitable for that part.
SM is always have this kind of pattern for every group they made. They will make the Boy group first then later they will make a Girl group which will have kind the same type of music or style with that Boy group. So i think this also happened for NCT and aespa just like how Exo and red velvet, shinee and f(x) and other too
The mini-album definitely has to be one of the most refreshing and unexpected sounds in k-pop right now with inspirations from electronic and hyper-pop. Really excited to see where they go with their sound.
I've never really had an opinion or ever noticed Giselle but the parts she has in this song are my favorite parts of the song. I'm glad they're giving her some spotlight with the rapping parts finally.
Most of SM's title tracks this year have been highlighting the vocal prowess of their groups, and good for them!!!!!! And this goes for Savage too. All of their vocals are divineeee. And they have been breaking records left and right, so happy for these girls!
Oh my god I am so glad that I am not the only one who is reminded of Limitless by NCT127 while listening to Savage... (The feels for the chorus or limitless was similar to the prechorus of savage was what I felt)
KWANGYA is a world where the avatars live, so like the virtual version (æ) of AESPA, but the word KWANGYA has been used in other SM artist songs like NCT dream and EXO, I think SM is creating a virtual universe?? IDK, something SM is doing😭😭
the zu zu zu zu part f-ing SLAPS. the pre-chorus is divine. the anti-drop is magnificent. Giselle’s rap is fire. thank you slayspa for always delivering
This comeback really solidified them as a new IT group in my opinion, Giselle and Karina could finally go OFF while Winter and Ning Ning shine with their stunning vocals, the verses are sick, the pre chorus and bridge are heavenly while the chorus is catchy and on point, and for SM we don't even gotta mention the M/V and song production anymore do we? And the album was just as good! Truly the next level for their careers.
Another reactor unfazed by Naevis and the "Naevis we love you" line 🤣. Aespa is really the main group that pushes the SMCU lore so I think it really will stick for them a longer time. Compared to like EXO and their power-alien lore or the other SM groups. I'd say their lore and the overarching SMCU lore is more straightforward (?). Yes it might be confusing to have all of these terminologies and world building stuff. But at least it isn't just some hint of a reference thrown in for a few seconds like other Kpop groups with lore. It's a double edged sword. Outsiders might be turned off getting into it but if you're invested/interested in it you'll definitely follow it.
Hot take: I feel aespa's Savage EP is a moment in the kpop gg scene that is going to send shockwaves through the industry. Quite possibly a game changing moment like I haven't seen since maybe June 2018. SM and aespa really threw down the gauntlet with this release.
I already feel like with next level (though a remake of the original song) they're already leaving their mark. With savage, in a couple of years you'll see more companies try to recreate this as many companies did with BLACKPINK.
I might look like a nerd explain the lore but here I go: in Black Mamba, aespa encounter Black Mamba the villain. in Next Level, aespa encounter Naevis who helps them to pursuit Black Mamba. in Savage, aespa fight & defeat Black Mamba with Naevis's sacrifice.
This comeback and mini surprised me so much! I was curious with how they were going to follow up Next Level since it got so crazy popular- this blew me away. YEPPI YEPPI is actually dangerous!
Giselle has more lines for what honestly what feels like the first time and it sucks cause I just can't get enough of her. Loved Giselle and Winter's parts here and some of Ningning's part but yeah want so much more from Giselle in the future.
The reason why the bridge changes in next level and savage is because during that time they travel to a different world, the place where naevis is. In that world the music is different. I hope that makes sense! :)
I love the whole concept of Aespa. This is such a talented group, singing, rapping, visuals. Plus, the line distribution is pretty even. Love me some Aespa!
Finally someone says it the rap part ia good but i think it should've been Giselle-Giselle Karina-Karina and yes karina chorus 🙌🙌 sm should let her sing more she has such an unique tone!
As usual, we have those that don't like it, and those that absolutely love it, it's grown on some and some still don't know how to feel about it.and I'm over here, having loved it from the start and am obsessed, like you don't understand. Will it be another "next level" we will see but bestie I've been zinging "give me give me now×2 zu zu zu zu" randomly for the past day and again, I'm not mad. From me personally this is a certified bop And the mini album is *chef's kiss 💋*
The things you mentioned about black mamba concept vs savage concept is exactly what has gotten me into them. Black mamba as a song is badass but the company put them in more pretty princess like styling, which looked good of course but the concept and styling for Savage is more mature and I think it suits the members visuals and energies more. I think this era has finally composed the best parts of their style and image and it has given the members a lot of confidence going into the promotions. They feel more polished here.
aespa is killing this era!!! •we got more of giselle rapping!!!!!!!!! •karina being an ace and her iconic pre-chorus (4:03) •winter and ningning with their amazing vocals!!
11:54 Giselle's rap is pretty high and somehow unusual compared to most of k pop songs we hear, but i think because of that the pre-chorus with those heavy tone voices of Ningning and Winter stands out so much! i like the overall buildup and contrasts within the song and especially, if you understand the concept of Aespa, the song and MV were pulled out so amazing! ps. Giselle's rap starting with the coin machine sound is so clever
Love this song from the 1st listen ! SM's experimental sound with Aespa has been so addictive to me that I can't see them doing normal songs (but then again, SM always surprises everyone) 😉
I absolutely love this song so much. It has everything i expected from them and more. I'm so glad Giselle got so many rap parts. She really got my attention this time.
You should at least watch SM Cultural Universe Episode 1: Black Mamba. I think watching that + the MVs and reading the lyrics is enough to get a good idea of what the story is. And yes, the group's concept stays though they might change and mix genres. Their comebacks are basically chapters of an ongoing story
As you asked about KWANGYA, here are also some other vocabulary connected with æspa: • KWANGYA - the place where avatars live • FLAT - the place where the members could co-exist with their avatars • SYNK - the connection between the members and their avatars • REKALL - the time the members spend with their avatars • NAVIS/NÆVIS - the guide/system that connects the girls and avatars • P.O.S - Short for “Port of Soul,” P.O.S is a portal that connects the FLAT with the real world and KWANGYA as well, I assume • Æ - Æ (pronounced like the word “eye“, for some reason…) are digital entities based on a person’s real existence. Each aespa member has their own æ. And even us and everyone else has already have their own æ • MY - When aespa and æ-aespa SYNK, they become MY, which is said to mean “the most precious friends” in the language of that world. MY is also aespa’s official fandom name • BLACK MAMBA - the virus or villain that disconnect the connection between members and avatars (this one is obvious) • Kosmo - I guess that’s cosmos or cosmic part of that world • NU EVO - I haven’t found meaning of this one yet
i love the pc music vibes in the verses, the pre chorus is lovely, the bridge is unreal, rapping and vocals on point. i just don’t like that final chorus, it somehow feels empty and anticlimactic, even with the amazing vocals in the back. but i have to give it to SM again for always bringing something new to the table and sparking a conversation about music, structure, and sound.
i love that SM gives the girls a chance to rap besides the singing coz it just gives a lady more feistiness when they can actually deliver a proper rap with charisma
I love aespa for their lore. Their concept is something SM has probably worked on for about/ more than 10 years. Even Shinee has mentioned Kwangya in their Songs I believe
This album is, in my opinion, one of the best rookie girl group albums to release this year, if not girl group period. Every song is title track material, and it was so worth the wait. It has been on repeat since the release
For one reason or another I just haven't been able to get into aespa. It isn't a reflection on them, I feel from what I've seen that they are super talented. I just don't like the music or the avatar/lore concepts. I don't know, I feel like I'm missing out on something special, but they just haven't clicked with me yet. Out of the young bloods, Purple Kiss and Pixy are the ones who've grabbed my attention.
I want to point out one thing, the chorus might've feel like a "let down" because this is a song with an _anti drop_ formula. I personally thought this is fit well with this type of song, and I HAVE TO DISAGREE WICHU PD: I RREALLY LOVE THAT HIGH PITCH RAP GISELLE DELIVERED 😭🤣 It takes me back to the days I hyped up over Tokyo Drift and it was fire 🔥
I really like 'Savage' and the mini album! I love how pretty much any song that SM does in general, switches up, has new styles and beats in the middle of the songs. Creating songs with multiple styles and sounds in one song is kind of SM signature thing.

Kwangya is where Black Mamba the main SMCU villain resides. It's kinda like a mystical space out of time and space.
Kwangya it's also SM's new building, in Next Level we can see the coordinates of Kwangya and it coincide with SM new building in the real world.
Kwangya is not a meme, but it became a meme I swear its a pun that SM stans use a lot now since aespa debuted, "you will get thrown to kwangya if you don't-" like that kind of puns, its really funny.
its also a meme tho
Well it is considered a meme. The whole “kwangya” universes feels too forced
22:13 that's exactly why as an nctzen i got into aespa instantly, i've been waiting for the neo sound in girl groups too, and they execute it perfectly... i think that has to do with being under sm too, they shape their artists to be able to fit very bold concepts
Im absolutely in love with this song. ESPECIALLY the pre-chorus, it has one of the best pre-choruses ive ever heard.
Oooo I like the new MV edit layout, PD~~~
waiting for your reaction and i was always checking only to be disappointed.
where is y’all’s reaction…
YUHH
@@mafthew it’s here now a whole 7 months later😭
@@bluequeen8022 Yeess!! And I'm even wondering how long this story would last? I hope the story will keep us entertained and surprised.
actually they said that savage is them getting ready to battle black mamba
"I don't know if that part suited her voice"
the way this person speaks my thoughts is SCARY
Most of Savage listeners thought like you after they listened Savage. So, you're not alone. But, still appreciate on it.
Literally. Should've just made Karina do it ig
@@s_sanny or winter cuz her voice can go high
@daphne explain please
@daphne i think pd uses they/them pronouns but i could be wrong.
Loved Savage from the first listen. There is no boring part in this song. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the last chorus.
Also I'm obsessed with Winter this comeback, I couldn't take my eyes off her and her singing was phenomenal :D
Yeesss I considered myself a ning ning biased person before but savage made winter be my bias, her attitute in this MV was awesome, breath taking
I just realized this has the same vibes what Cherry Bomb gave me. Especially, that bridge feels like you're floating then after the dance break is just pure energy. (Probably, Ning's vocals really amazes me so much.)
Ps. I used to say this is "meh" not until I go to listen this to my IEM. The production here is heavenly.
yes that's how i would describe it! the bridge is SO good, i felt like i was ascending
yes I felt the same way!! From the first moment I heard this it reminded me of cherry bomb so much
10:25 - Yes PD, she's Karina.
💦ilu Karina
This is so NCT U sounding. I can see Taeyong, Jaehyun, Taeil, haechan, yangyang and ten slaying this concept
Ikr!!!??
Totally get what you’re saying PD about the weirdness / experimental textures that aespa creates and I definitely think similar people or teams are flexing between them and NCT127. People are definitely split on their music but I personally think their wackiness is so refreshing in the gg industry.
I think we should stop associating hyperpop to "weird" or "experimental" songs because it denotes its elements and characteristics as a genre itself
their songs really is popular in korea rn. Next level and savage especially. They dont need fans to vote for them on music shows bc their digital points are so high (which means lots of people listen to it). Theyre always on top of the charts just bc theres lots of ppl still listen to the songs after the promotion weeks. So if u think its bad, u REALLY need to check your music taste bc this is definitely not a mistake. Theyre popular bc they earned it, not bc fans mass vote or mass stream the mv or mass buy the album, (like some groups out there with huge fandoms).
@@caraperegrine6936 it's as if you're demonizing people who think it's not their taste lmao
this comeback was actually really powerfull. The girls really showed their rapping and vocal skills. Im really proud of them and I believe that their future is bright!! Thank you for the reaction💖
I’m so in love with Winter’s voice. The way she pronounces words I really unique and adds a lot to her parts.
Savage has one of the BEST pre chorus in kpop. It's just so good.
Would love if you checked it out, on or off camera, its dope!
okay, i commented way too early, they later on said that they checked out the video😂
Where can I watch and what's the title of the video?
winter ATE. her vocals are just incredible, and the growl in her voice
Yo young jin daughter
THE GROWL
Karina's beat rap was so good , was definitely one of my favorite parts
The pre-chorus is _heavenly_
Actually on the rapping part that you did not like.. I was kind of thinking the same thing as you, but the plot twist to it, Giselle was actually has deeper voice than the rest of the members. She was the best for that section. It's just I don't know why SM producers did what they did with their decision on that high pitch rapping. Anyway the song still dope though! 🔥
I agree. Everything was perfect except that high pitched rap done by Giselle. Giselle has more deep tone and I wish SM would make her rap suited to her voice.
But she's still doing a great job!
My only guess would be just to make the song a bit more unpredictable?
Karina has the deepest tone, even when Giselle sings it's still a bit higher than Karina's vocal tone.
@@helloworld-sl2lw You are right! But let's not forget Giselle got years of experience singing in alto. It's an easy job for Giselle to put more weight in her voice. Anyway I still put the blame on the producers 😂
The bridge really brings me back to old SM.
The melody is very reminiscent of Exo-K and SNSD 2011-2012.
I'm in tears over the amazon packages; that was so fucking funny.
it just kept going and goinggg
“That’s right, I watched the wings club” IM CRYING LMAO but I thought so too tho! That part it’s very wings club like it’s super pretty
SAME OMG JSBSJAB
Lmao same
winx*
Yassss same!!
When the verses, prechorus, chorus and bridge all have different instrumentals
Also karina’s vocals in the 2nd prechorus😌
SM is always have this kind of pattern for every group they made. They will make the Boy group first then later they will make a Girl group which will have kind the same type of music or style with that Boy group. So i think this also happened for NCT and aespa just like how Exo and red velvet, shinee and f(x) and other too
14:50 - the bell sounds at the background was fairy tale like. But when Winter sang 17:08 it sounded Christmas! WE NEED MORE OF THAT
The mini-album definitely has to be one of the most refreshing and unexpected sounds in k-pop right now with inspirations from electronic and hyper-pop. Really excited to see where they go with their sound.
I've never really had an opinion or ever noticed Giselle but the parts she has in this song are my favorite parts of the song. I'm glad they're giving her some spotlight with the rapping parts finally.
I've been listening the album non stop ✨
I loveee the bridge, it has this 90's r&b sound, is sooo goood
Most of SM's title tracks this year have been highlighting the vocal prowess of their groups, and good for them!!!!!! And this goes for Savage too. All of their vocals are divineeee. And they have been breaking records left and right, so happy for these girls!
Oh my god I am so glad that I am not the only one who is reminded of Limitless by NCT127 while listening to Savage... (The feels for the chorus or limitless was similar to the prechorus of savage was what I felt)
"That's right, I watch the Winx Club." got me XD and yes, was thinking the same.
KWANGYA is a world where the avatars live, so like the virtual version (æ) of AESPA, but the word KWANGYA has been used in other SM artist songs like NCT dream and EXO, I think SM is creating a virtual universe?? IDK, something SM is doing😭😭
Cringe
@@veritas5287 ??
@@veritas5287 what's cringe? You?
the zu zu zu zu part f-ing SLAPS. the pre-chorus is divine. the anti-drop is magnificent. Giselle’s rap is fire.
thank you slayspa for always delivering
zuzuzuzu
22:20 EXACTLY!
It's fascinating to see my fav reactor reacting to my other fav reactor 😂
Yeah. They made a whole new flavor. Hands down to SM. 5 years was worth the wait for Aespa.
I already feel like with next level (though a remake of the original song) they're already leaving their mark. With savage, in a couple of years you'll see more companies try to recreate this as many companies did with BLACKPINK.
I might look like a nerd explain the lore but here I go:
in Black Mamba, aespa encounter Black Mamba the villain.
in Next Level, aespa encounter Naevis who helps them to pursuit Black Mamba.
in Savage, aespa fight & defeat Black Mamba with Naevis's sacrifice.
Loved Giselle and Winter's parts here and some of Ningning's part but yeah want so much more from Giselle in the future.
maybe in a future comeback with a more rap driven song we will get more giselle
Omg I’m so hyped for this
I actually saw a tweet on bird app that some nctzens are treating aespa as nct's sub unit😭 It's actually funny lmao
you have to react to the full mini album on patreon! “I’ll Make You Cry” and “Lucid Dream” are so good and really show off the groups vocal chops!!
Their rap line and vocal line is so goddamn powerfull!!
The bridge feels mad out of place to me but I guess it goes with their lore. Low-key feels like this vibe of 3 songs in one I always see aespa do
Yeah, like your watching a movie
From me personally this is a certified bop
And the mini album is *chef's kiss 💋*
Savage is absolutely amazing and absolutely ballsy of SM. Avant-garde pop as a kpop song, I couldnt believe it and I love it so much lol
•karina being an ace and her iconic pre-chorus (4:03)
•winter and ningning with their amazing vocals!!
4:46 onwards sounds like a part from ExO song named - what is love. It is very beautifully done.
Kwangya means “wilderness” like a jungle or desert. Basically is the world where the Avatars live (AI)
NÆVIS KNOWS YOUR TROUBLES AND SHE WILL SAVE YOU, NÆVIS HEAR OUR PURRRR ÆMEN
Now wtf kdkkdbdofknd
LMAO
NÆVIS WE KNOW YOUR SACRIFICES, NÆVIS WE LOVE YOU ÆMEN
pls
When I heard Naevis' part I couldn't help but think it was a religious song lmao
everything Yoo Yong Jin makes is GOLD, and his backup vocals in Savage are just chef's kiss
I want a whole song that’s just the bridge. damn, SM, you did it again.
As you asked about KWANGYA, here are also some other vocabulary connected with æspa:
• KWANGYA - the place where avatars live
• FLAT - the place where the members could co-exist with their avatars
• SYNK - the connection between the members and their avatars
• REKALL - the time the members spend with their avatars
• NAVIS/NÆVIS - the guide/system that connects the girls and avatars
• P.O.S - Short for “Port of Soul,” P.O.S is a portal that connects the FLAT with the real world and KWANGYA as well, I assume
• Æ - Æ (pronounced like the word “eye“, for some reason…) are digital entities based on a person’s real existence. Each aespa member has their own æ. And even us and everyone else has already have their own æ
• MY - When aespa and æ-aespa SYNK, they become MY, which is said to mean “the most precious friends” in the language of that world. MY is also aespa’s official fandom name
• BLACK MAMBA - the virus or villain that disconnect the connection between members and avatars (this one is obvious)
• Kosmo - I guess that’s cosmos or cosmic part of that world
• NU EVO - I haven’t found meaning of this one yet
i love the pc music vibes in the verses, the pre chorus is lovely, the bridge is unreal, rapping and vocals on point. i just don’t like that final chorus, it somehow feels empty and anticlimactic, even with the amazing vocals in the back. but i have to give it to SM again for always bringing something new to the table and sparking a conversation about music, structure, and sound.
Savage is okay but Lucid dream is definitely my favourite song on the album
By far the best
It's aespa's "Kingdom Come"!
Same here, i even trans it into my native language =))) if you like you can check it in my channels
@@K-pop_in_the_Garden we love an intellectual who loves SM rnb b-sides
i love that SM gives the girls a chance to rap besides the singing coz it just gives a lady more feistiness when they can actually deliver a proper rap with charisma
The more I listen more I like. Since next level, my eyes is stuck on Winter. She's amazing. All-rounder.
I love aespa for their lore. Their concept is something SM has probably worked on for about/ more than 10 years. Even Shinee has mentioned Kwangya in their Songs I believe
i love how aespa are bringing back an old kpop sound while being revolutionary and innovative as well
This album is, in my opinion, one of the best rookie girl group albums to release this year, if not girl group period. Every song is title track material, and it was so worth the wait. It has been on repeat since the release
Finally a reaction with sounds...it's been hard the past few SM review
For one reason or another I just haven't been able to get into aespa. It isn't a reflection on them, I feel from what I've seen that they are super talented. I just don't like the music or the avatar/lore concepts. I don't know, I feel like I'm missing out on something special, but they just haven't clicked with me yet. Out of the young bloods, Purple Kiss and Pixy are the ones who've grabbed my attention.
Nah you fine. If you don't like something don't force yourself :D
I want to point out one thing, the chorus might've feel like a "let down" because this is a song with an _anti drop_ formula. I personally thought this is fit well with this type of song, and I HAVE TO DISAGREE WICHU PD: I RREALLY LOVE THAT HIGH PITCH RAP GISELLE DELIVERED 😭🤣
It takes me back to the days I hyped up over Tokyo Drift and it was fire 🔥
PD, did you know SM released a whole 10 min video 'Episode 1 Black Mamba'? I think it will really help to understand their concept
I did not think I would enjoy the EP as much as I do 😭 The B-sides go crazy PD. Hope you do a listening party on Patreon sometime in the future 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
cant believe how no one commented on how pd could use the mv audio! I put off listening to it for this long just because of this XD
I really like 'Savage' and the mini album! I love how pretty much any song that SM does in general, switches up, has new styles and beats in the middle of the songs. Creating songs with multiple styles and sounds in one song is kind of SM signature thing.
You should also review the full mini-album! Like it's so good. Good Good. Every track is just, chef's kiss.
