no group is doing it like aespa. they're serving futurism. when i first heard that last minor section at first i was like "oh.. okay" but the more i listened to it the more i liked that part and the more it made sense. SM is not afraid to do crazy things with their music which is why their groups are my favorite, aespa included !
Aespa's AIs are called the "AEs" (pronounced like "eye", and their whole thing is about them losing the 'SYNK' or connection between their virtual counterparts because of the corruption of the black mamba virus, thats why in next level the AEs were only glitching and only have a small amount of screentime because during next level is where they are really having a hard time to fully connect with their real world counterpart. But Savage is about the story of them finally facing the black mamba and during the middle of the song they already defeated it with the help of NAEVIs who is the pretty AI in the bridge, because of that the AEs can now fully connect with their counterparts and was even able to participate in the group's whole chorus choreography at one point. My assumption will be is that the next song or comeback they are gonna release is about them resurrecting NAEVIS, because in savage she sacrificed herself to give aespa some support in defeating the black mamba, they basically said in the bridge "I know your sacrifices, My naevis, we love you, I know, we'll make sure to find your memories Let's meet surely after the resurrection" if incase you didnt know NAEVIS is the whole reason why the AES and the girls are connected to begin with, and their next obligation is to bring her back.

To further remember the members: Karina- usually starts the song, so far she always had black straight long hair I think it's her branding, and she has a very small face. She's almost always the center focus as well (such as in dancebreaks) NingNing- She looks a bit like Jennie of blackpink and she's almost always slaying the high notes, the main vocalist Giselle- The standout rapper, her face is relatively easier to remember. It's kinda weird but with her being the main rapper, she doesn't get much spotlight, always at the back, less screentime/lines as well. Winter- you already know her, she's a well rounded idol, and she's my bias as well.

It's giving R&B Pop vibes that's why I love it in the song. I don't think the bridge part in the MV was cringe. I don't get why it's cringe and why everything has to be "cringe". Nothing about Winx Club is cringe lol. Yes theres a lot of cringe content online nowadays like Tiktok but this was far from cringe.

The song definitely grew on me. I was apprehensive because I expected another rollercoaster song, but I even shocked myself 😂 I wasn’t concerned about vocals because I mean, it’s SM 🤷🏾♀️ but the girls ate, the visuals were immaculate, and the song is actually really good!
honestly aespa's music being as futuristic, noisy & weird as possible makes me identify that type of sound with them it sets them apart from everybody else, like how I identify super cute, super adorable, sugar sweet bubblegum pop music with early TWICE (early cuz as they've gotten older the music has matured) no but aespa's mini album / EP is really good too, my faves on there are I'll Make You Cry, YEPPI YEPPI & Lucid Dream...... & if aenergy isn't their intro song at their concert, Imma sue SM!

SM is entering a new era and I foresee NCT and Aespa making bank. Aespa is quickly establishing their sound and I feel as though they’re at the top of this style of music. It suits them so well.

I love Aespa, I really do, the beginning of this song was really not it for me, but the rest was bomb!
Tbh the last part is soo chaotic but chaoticly amazing!!!! Like u know what i mean right….aespa really step on that everythinggg
completely agree on winter being the standout, she fits this concept the best imo.
To further remember the members:
Karina- usually starts the song, so far she always had black straight long hair I think it's her branding, and she has a very small face. She's almost always the center focus as well (such as in dancebreaks)
NingNing- She looks a bit like Jennie of blackpink and she's almost always slaying the high notes, the main vocalist
Giselle- The standout rapper, her face is relatively easier to remember. It's kinda weird but with her being the main rapper, she doesn't get much spotlight, always at the back, less screentime/lines as well.
Winter- you already know her, she's a well rounded idol, and she's my bias as well.

I remember being on the "playlist" side when people disliked how weird NCT127's Sticker was. Now I understand what it's like to be on the other side. Not a fan of this. I remember my attention was peaked during the 2 rap verses before NingNing's part, a couple of the vocal ad libs, and the cartoon part. But other than that, it's not my taste. I meant that I didn't like a single title track/single other than Black Mamba. Despite me not likeing Savage, I bet that if I force myself to relisten to it over and over again, I can accustom myself into enjoyong it. The same thing happened with Brave Girl's Rollin'. Wow, did I hate that song at first couple listens. 😂
