      Especially when he asked him, in an endearing and jokingly manner, about graduating in 20. OG took it like a champ and came with an answer most of us can identify with when we started messing up. The candor and respect is much needed nowadays. Kev Mac is in a league of his own and that’s why the OG’s appreciate and open up to him. Big Respect to bro!!!!

    Man I retired after 20 plus years in the Army. I've been on this KMV thing for a long time. Like in the military, some of these so-called gang members are some of the smartest dudes I've ever sat and listened to. Guys like Jimmy, Lil Caesar, Bodacious, and Mel, I know damn well would have flourished in the military. You can see the leadership qualities in them. They just chose a different path in life.

    • @wolf7el356
      @wolf7el356 3 года назад +2

      Yes. The IGF's were one of the top enemies of the 60's when the Crips first started in 71-72. All throughout the 70's & 80's the Inglewoods & the RSC's had bitter rivalry that resulted in War. In fact, aside from the Brims the Family's were probably the most hated Blood hood of the rolling 60's. But once the War between the 83's & the 60's kicked off their focus & attention turned more towards the inner Crip conflicts with ETGC's, Hoovers & other Gangsta Crip sets.

      IGF is west of the 60’s hood. Only when IGF ventured east did they rumble. For the most part the 60’s faced east and rumbled mainly with 8TrayG’s who were eastward and facing west.

    • @bigbaba4542
      @bigbaba4542 3 года назад +7

      nearly every future blood gang had someone killed by the crips by 1972. Not to mention people who were attacked with deadly force and lived, wouded, or just shot at. Raymond can be blamed for the direction they were going in like everyone else. Most likely, It was not until after he came home from prison that he denounced using deadly force in gang conflict, kicked back from gangbanging and started beeing a low rider and a youth councelor. From 1969 to 1972 he probably was with it. He was in custody from late 72, to 75 by the way

      Most of those little niggas with a big name were murderers, period. Raymond himself had more than one body. Tookie was a self-admitted shermhead who everyone knows didn't commit the 4 murders he went down for, but has other murders on Pirus.

      Dance crews started in south central. It moved to westside and by the late 70’s there were the disco lockers, starlights, playboy dancers, diamond backs red lights -- these were midtown dance crews. Playboys were even further west. All these later were flipped into Crip sets. MarvinG’s, GeerG’s, playboyG’s, MansfieldG’s, schoolyardG’s.
