@@valeriezak it definitely hit me hard when I watched this video, recent events in my life make this song hit much different and how Ronnie sang this song was so emotion filled that it knocked me on my emotion rear end. loved it..
As a teen I felt the original, angry and full of pain. As an adult I feel this one, broken and full of sorrow. Truly a beautiful piece.
the very first time i heard this version, I had literally just lost my mom and man this hit me deep, it still does. i literally had to pull over because i could not keep myself in check

Thanks man. I only took two days off work and that was to do court paperwork and stuff. Work offered me time off but I said no because I would rather stay busy then sit at home and gets into my thoughts

@@chrisanderson196 its still a big "cover my own ass" thing. even if ronnie doesnt, that doesnt stop false copyright strikes from basement dwellers. it helps.
i like both types of reactions depending on the person reacting. if it comes from an artist/filmmaker/etc i like to know their opinions on certain things. if its just a random person, i like the way this girl does it.

Ronnie "Reimagined" exactly what this song, in its original form, meant, and did, for some of us back 20+ years ago and since.....
Long story given short..... the same year it came out, i spent a few hours sitting on the edge of my bed as a teenager while going though a major medical issue, fighting a silent battle in my mind with "Last Resort" playing on repeat.....
3:14 - 3:54 "I cant go on, living this way" was quite literally the 'battle' i fought there that night. Simply being 'tired of fighting' the medical issue i was dealing with.
With nothing but myself, Last Resort, and a 8in hunting knife i was slowly spinning between my hands, while my parents were asleep at the other end of the house.
3:56 + is what this song helped me to do.. Claw my way back, and build myself back up.

Beautiful words. I remember listening to this when I was younger too, and how it and others like it helped me. It's amazing how sometimes music can have such a powerful influence on us. I have so many horrible memories, and too many physical scars as a result, but listening to this doesnt dredge up negative feelings. It only reminds me of how much music meant to me back then when this song was new. I hope your days of desperate clawing are long behind you, friend.

Ronnie Radke is one of my favorite music artists and I love watching him so much and I love listening to his improvement and his life and how good hes doing.
He really rose from the bottom and said fuck it all. You can't help but admire that about a person.
From his personality to his dedication to his pride to his vocal range... this man can do it all and holy shit if he isnt damn good at it.
That´s my history my mother passed away in 2019 ,i tried to suicide several times since then,i had to remade all my mind and my spirit to become whole again, in a never ending fight against madness,pain and sorrow since then, and, i somehow still surviving till now.
I`m very happy that you chose to stay here.

This cover is Legendary, I like how he added his own unique twists to the song to fit his style.
Best part is how this video is a sequel to Watch the World Burn where he destroyed the Earth and at the end we see he undid the destruction he caused as an act of redemption. Truly a masterpiece.

This song hurts to listen to because it cuts deep, tearing the heart right open.
Anyone who doesn't get emotional has no feelings, the song is a rollercoaster of emotions
I suffer from depression when I first saw and heard this song...I balled...My god does the visuals and vocals encapsulate that feeling of your world falling apart and having to put yourself back together so you don't drag those close to you into the dark with you.
In Ronnie new remastered version you hear and think about the lyrics and realize what a deep and emotional song this is from Pappa Roach. Compared to the original one that's more heavy and just want to bang your head to.
I absolutely love how excited and emotional your reaction was. Incredible. Some artists can really make covers their own and Ronnie did that here.
