Served w/ CSM Burke @ 2CR as one of the SQDN S1's. Insperational human being that I've always looked up to, and always brought common sense to everything we did.

I served with Burke!!! Man, he is an amazing and stand up human!! I was at B Co with him at 2/75. Yes he does reveal a lot of realities at that time. He is very real. I also served with Wheeler and let me tell you he was a true mentor. I remember Burke before Ranger School and after. My experience is that he does not put a false front. This podcast would resonate with a lot of RGRs. CSM Burke supported me in my dark time and he was a I think a corporal or SGT at that time. I walked among Giants… he is one of them!! RLTW!

This is deep--Wheeler was a real hero. My cousin who was former 3/75 and was a inter-agency guy worked out next to him that evening before the raid launched. A crushing blow from what I understand that hit a lot of people hard! He will be remembered 🇺🇸 RLTW & DOL

Damn this was a killer episode.
Been in Regiment almost 14 years and I’ve only heard of
Him. Never met. What a wealth of perspective

I am so glad I found this episode. I also have mental health history and seeing that you got this far gives me a lot of inspiration. I know i can do it. i’m squared, I know it’s possible to be in regiment with my history now. This gives me more hope in my attempt to get my waivers

Ngl bro if you have mental health problems don’t try being a ranger but you can still get really really far in life . If you deploy and end up traumatized or mutilated or anything on the sort you’re history could literally be a big big factor in rather you live or die . This isn’t for everyone and if you have mental or physical issues ( not legal ) then this may not be a good idea bro . Not to be rude but just to be honest bruh. To many ppl wanna be cool and end up committing suicide later bc they weren’t cut for this like they claim to be

@@RackeddUp I appreciate where you’re coming from my guy but i am good seriously. I know you are coming from a good place but you just don’t know how i am or what my situation was. My history does not make me who i am. I do not have mental health issues anymore, i have not for almost 5 years. My problems were situational. Things a young teen should not have to deal with. I did not have guidance on how to deal with my emotions. Now I am grown. Now I know how to deal with my issues. I count it as a plus, i already been in the deepest holes and i made it out. I know i can make myself better cause i have. Again I appreciate where you’re coming from
