See the problem is movies requires the hero to make stupid mistakes to take the villain down. How may times have wee seen the hero have the bad guy where he wants him and by cliche terms of events, he hasn't shot him and the fight has gone on and on. Indy sets the example, when you have to shoot, shoot don't talk.
