    Hey Jesse, I think you may be accidentally referencing a WCE article from 2022. Most of the video is accurate but Matt Burgin, Tom Morrison and Steve Trewhella all joined the club at the end of 2022. As far as I know:
    - Burgin is still at the club
    - Morrison has departed - there was no official announcement of this but Brady Hough thanked him in his B&F speech and said he was going to miss him
    - Trewhella has been Development Manager for the last two years but as you mentioned has now moved to the role of Football Manager for the WAFL Eagles. Maddocks effectively replaces him as Head of Development
    Hope this helps. Love your work mate

    Absolutely happy with Worsfolds return. He will keep every one honest with his no nonsense approach, put some toughness into the boys, and be able keep an eye on everything. Steve was a great Falcons player, I wish him all the best.

    Good to see the legend himself
    Johnny worsfold back at west coast
    He’s by far my favourite coach/player
    I was heartbroken
    When he left the eagles
    Even when he coach the bombers I always loved him

      Mate I completely agree with that sentiment. I have a letter (god showing my age here) from when he was the captain of the club he wrote to me in response to some cards I wanted signed. It still has a massive sentimental value to me and shows the character of him as a bloke

    Hi Jessie. Looking forward to a vid on the best players WCE can take at 12 and 26... barring live pick trading to get a better pick than 12.

    Marco Bello coached Box Hill seconds side about 15 years ago. A guy I worked with played under him for one season. I think they won a flag in the early 2010s. I have no specific insight on him but he has been in the coaching game for a long time.

    the sports psych is massive

  • @BryGuyXCV

    If I really ever went into football coaching or development, I would most likely go into sport psychology, just because I am aware that the majority of the things we do come from the mind. So I’m glad to see that the Eagles have taken steps into acknowledging the need. But now whether the club takes the role seriously and heeds the psychologists advice into games is another thing altogether, I really do hope this guy makes an impact on the team.

      we've had such a hard run with form and injuries, and its going to continue as the oldies retire. so a psych really important to keep focused and positive.

    I would have thought they would have moved Webster on & Hurn be the Backline coach he did play over 300 games in the backline no brainer for me

    I hope Woosha sits in the coaches box every week just to bounce ideas off him no one better to have

    • @BDub2024
      @BDub2024 5 часов назад

      I don't think he is going to be involved in match day. The Eagles used to have Tim Gepp hanging around the coaches box. It can be intimidating for a coach. If Mini asks Woosha then he may agree.

    Jessie, I have followed your posts, and until they happened, they were speculation. What you and your followers have missed is the lack of ruckman the Eagles have. Bailey Williams has done a reasonable job in that role, but we need two big ( 200 cm plus ) who are strong over head, and can support the mid size players in defence and attack. As for sports pyschologist try Kellie Lewis as the first appointed. Doug Ringholt Claremont and Carlton past player.

      I cannot believe WC has avoided getting a ruckman. Instead, they have a number of project talls and are therefore lacking depth. Can’t get my head around their strategies which seem to be more focused on ‘social justice’ than actually being competitive.

      They needed to try to get a Hickey type for a couple of years and not give much up for him. They do have Flynn, who had his season cruelled with injury. then you have Barnett Livingstone and BWilliams/Flynn/Jamieson all trying to share ruck time at reserves level. Plus JWilliams and AReid were doing forward ruck work too. All that will stunt development. Barnett needs to be fixed in a position to allow him to develop. He needs 100% ruck time. Though I do think trialling him at CHB is an interesting option. Then you AReid who may develop into a ruck forward when he fills out. Bringing in another ruckman would mess up the junior development. However, I agree with midfield struggling then also having an ordinary ruckman will just make it too tough for Ginbey Hewitt Harley etc...

      @@trship6274 They have Barnett Livingstone BWilliams Flynn and Jamieson who were all drafted as ruckman. JWilliams and AReid will be forward rucks. Flynn if fit will be above average, as I reckon we need a good tap ruckman with physical presence to develop our mids too. I take your point, but we do need to develop young ruckman too.

      Did you forget Flynn - who had a hamstring tendon off the bone last year, who should get a preseason under him.

    • @BDub2024
      @BDub2024 4 часа назад

      @@dhud1685 Spot on. He missed 10 weeks of footy. Came back and then got some predictable other soft tissue type injuries and then played out the year in ressies. As BWilliams had worked hard all year and they were trying to give all the tall forwards a shot.

    psychologists are needed when a team is getting thumped or having injury crises. both years you've seen the team drop away when all seemed lost.
