Thank you, man! So interesting and easy listening tutorial! Find your channel few days ago and happy about this. Im professional musician (accordionist) and now want to ad an ukulele in my life. Like your vibe and what you do. Best wishes from Ukraine!
That was so much fun! Getting close on the strum, but need more practice changing chords with that strum, so played the easier 6/8 strum pattern while playing with you
Keep at it Nikki...you've got this. You can watch the practice video a few times until it's ingrained and then you'll be able to recall it at will...takes some time ;-)
Hi friends new subscriber and I watched your video last weekend and I loved how you teach uke lessons. I’ve had my uke for couple of yrs now and I wanted to learn how to play and I’ve came across your channel❤and I forgot how I used to play it a lot and than stopped. My first lesson was when I was a child 😊looking forward to learn more. Thank you🤍
This is one of my favorite Beatles songs for saaanging!! Thanks for breaking this down, I am excited to add it to my practice repetoir. The toughest part for me is the bar chord, I really struggle with them!
Hello Stu, I really appreciate this as I have tried to figure it out on my own with just a tab sheet. I am getting closer to being ready to join. Thanks again and again and again...🎼🎶
That was awesome, dude. I stumbled across you this evening while looking for someone to lead me on my ukulele journey. I have just watched a few of your videos, you are a great player and inspirational teacher and I really look forward to becoming a better player under your tutelage. I haven't looked but I think A Day In The Life would be interesting. I think that both John and Paul's sections would lend themselves to a ukulele arrangement and you could have great fun with the orchestra section. Namaste.
This english guy did a tutorial on Prince's Kiss. I was amazed at how simple the chords were. Thats what I like about the uke. You can learn hard-soundjng songs, then jazz it up with the strum pattern and chuking. You rock Stu!!
That E7+5 just... umph! It's a nice spicy chord- and isn't too hard. The Eagles' cover of "Please Come Home For Christmas" plays *almost* identically! (the recordings are even both in A, and even both start with the E7+5!) On more than one occasion there's been a medley of this and "Please Come Home," they flow together so well!
Nice tune, well played and explained. I can't decide whether it is the mic or the strum, BUT. . . Damn that Chuck on the 4 is harsh, loud, and distracting. I play and teach it with an immediate palm-chuck with the edge of of the strumming hand to stop the ringing of the strings. It sounds blues-ier to me also. Omit the palm-chuck occasionally for dramatic effect, of course, as you feel it. Just try it. Thanks and. . . Strum On!
The real tragedy of this song for fans and amateur performers alike is that no matter how good we play it on Piano, Guitar or Uke, we will NEVER nail Pauls vocals like he did in late '69.. ...ever
Amazing... You asked for a Beatles Song then Here I am: "can't buy me love". But I'd like "can't be loved " by Elle King (very close to your lesson about 6/8)

I love that sharpen 5th. It feels so good and gives so must energy to the A chord when you resolve. Let go, leap and land.

Thank you, i've been playing an E+ instead of a E7+5 all these years. The E7+5 sounds great!

Okay, how about If I Needed Someone? I haven’t seen anyone do that one. Or, how about, My Bonnie Lies a over The Ocean, early Beatles?
