Few more tips. If you find a a specific monster den / rare den you can save before going in the den then hatch the egg, if you dont want the egg just reset. You can also use rathian armor it has a den protector which increses the monster going back to it's den.
Rom DS or just go online and actually see what eggs youre getting by looking ip the eggs instead of hoping
I do that, but with rare monster specific dens, but without a finding charm it can be tedious to get a monster specific den to be rare. You can see if it is rare if it has 2 areas before the den.

@@v.s.charan6939 You need yo unlock catavan stands. If you havent unlocked them yet you just need to progress the story
Chasing a monster back to it's den guarantees the monster only. You tend to get boring smelling eggs and weight is generally comparable to the monster you chase back. Rare dens are the way to get good genes. The best thing the cat can say when finding an egg is "this egg gets my whiskers tingling, it is also very heavy!" Or something like that. To get the best genes you have to rely on RNG in rare dens.
Note: I have been playing close to the origional release on the 3ds. Unless they changed things for the phone version. What I have just stated still holds true.

Soo by the luck of rng-sus, you can find a Kirin egg in the cheery-blossom path leading to Gildegarde. I found 4 in a nest, but the final egg has the best outcome of them all.
And Kirin is also needed for the last of the riddlemasters subquest 😑.
Matthew Lozano I farm 15 kirin eggs. But i never got its rare gene, Painkiller i want that gene so much.

wow you progressed fast! I'm trying to actually get a qurupeco so i can farm up good eggs. It is harder to get one than I thought :(
Go to monsonne plains near the desert I think(not the cherry blossom).. After defeating the qurupeco and the blighted rathian, there would be a qurupeco roaming around or flying slowly near a catavan stand but on a hill. Using paintball would likely go to its den and there would be eggus~

Tag remember you can also use the Rathian armor’s skill Den Protecter to increase the chance for monster to run back to their Den’s

why not use rathian armor that has the skill to make the monster runs to their den to increase your chance while using paint ball? I do that sometimes when I want to farm monsties eggs

Hello have you done a video on gene? Im having trouble figuring out what stacks and what doesn't (the first herbivore you get at the beginning, has the observe gene, with +2 to healing, does that mean if you stack 3 of these and get a bingo u get 6 instead of 2 ?)
Correcting some mistakes in here
The best tier for the smell is 'It got my nose twitching' and the second best is 'Stinky dontcha thinky'. Look for these egg to find your 'Main' monsties
The best tier for the weight is pretty much self explanatory, the weightier it is the better. Look for these egg to find your 'Perfect' gene to power up your 'Main' monsties
The smell of the egg defines the gene slot, and the weight defines the gene quality

To get tigrex just take those big birds that call monsters and got to the snow area and keep calling until you get tigrex then paintball it and make it retreat then go to its then u can fight it or flee there eggs look like a wiggly lines hopefully it works for u like me
Finished the game less than a day 16 Hrs (Game time) but in real life it took 2 Weeks.

Harem (Brachydios) lv55
Sergio (Seregios) lv 52
Pickle Joe (Deviljho) lv 56
Lea *Supposed to be Leoleias* (Golden Rathian) lv 29
Stephen (Stygian Zinogre) lv 55
These are OP especially these Guys are the Dynamic Squads but i prefer Silver Rathalos (i havent gotten one yet) rather than a Golden Rathian.
I use the Golden Lune Armor lv 1
And the Kirin Sword thingy lv 2.
I beat/ed the game on Lv 41
It was hard but very fun wish there was a sequel. Ask me Questions for tips, etc.

How? Im at my 70 hours and still not finished. And not even close lol. I always hunt just to complete the weapons and armors.
@@nanisore3506 of course you wouldnt get your equipment to max, almost all of the monster and gathering item will unlock when u finished kill the boss. Just leveling your monster until strong enough to defeat last boss. After that u still can play the game, play special subquest, tournament, and when u finished the game you'll unlock tower and labyrinth

Best way is to use a and xp boost and farm level 1-5

Silver rathalos and gold rathian learn might L from leveling up.
Where/how do you obtain s. Rathalos and G. Rathian?
Through tower g rath from floor 19 and s rath from 29 or doing the special dlc subquests

Silver rathalos

Black diablos
Black gravios
And oishi kirin

You can't get Kushala
Brute Tigrex is found in the Dovan Volcano
Stygian Zinogre is in Mount Celion
Silver Rathalos eggs can be acquired at floor 29 of the tower of illusion
Barioth can be found in Mount Celion i believe
Black Diablos can be found in the Trese Desert
Black Gravios can be found in the Dovan Volcano (I think, can't remember exactly where I got mine)
And Oroshi Kirin can't be obtained.

i beat him using lvl 50 ratha swap with lvl 45 zinogre when he super saiyan and final blow with ground slash cough2...and 2 shock trap

Yes. I have. I found a cephadrome in an egg without having first encountered one in the wild.

What would you say is the best weapon to use the sword and shield or a great sword
I prefer Sword and Shield for Farming or Normal Fights plus it is quicker to use but when Fighting Large Health Monsters i prefer Greatswords.
I prefer using sword and shield, or horn. You can't deal high damage so mostly prefer for support rule and let your monstie deal with it. And i think it is best to use a weapon that match with your monstie,
And i am finding that for my stygian zinogre, it will decrease the order cost if i am using zinogre horn. that, i combined with kinship soul L ( pirate armor) and order L talisman, you can order your monstie and still can do a kinship attack to deal a high damage and more manage battle, but still not tested yet in another monstie coz i main stygian all the time XD. Hope can help

If you can't chase monsters like Tigerex back to their den, how do you get their eggs?
I believe molten tigrex is the only one you can't chase back. You have to get the egg from the special sub quests

Dancer gene will increase attack and speed of the monstie if they have full hp, some of the good gene i believe

I’d recommend it. Though I already finished 3DS version, so I’m not really tempted to buy it again. This version is cheaper compared to the 3DS version though, so there’s a plus.

Bring sonic bombs for if it uses charged stinger, I used a Qurupeco to beat it by keeping buffs up and healing whenever I needed. If you go with Quru don't go for the kinship attack, you need gauge for the various songs.

Why i cant summon the rathian at the level 18?
I think you need to defeat the diablos in albarax or your kinship is still on novice(level it up by defeating big moosters). After defeating the diablos, I instantly was told that I can now use 4 of the monsters I hatched.
