    That's an interesting science project. If I were still teaching, this would make a great lab!

    Thanks for the project bro.
    I'm using your idea & participated in science project competition, let's see👀 if I get the prize or not.

    Can I use IR F540 mosfet instead of STP16NF06L mosfet?

    • @Science.Buddies
      @Science.Buddies  Год назад +1

      The IRF540 has a higher gate threshold voltage than the STP16NF06L, so you may need a bigger battery pack (like 4xAA instead of 3xAA) for the circuit to work properly.

      Can I use IR FZ44N MOSFET?

    • @Science.Buddies
      @Science.Buddies  Год назад +1

      It looks like the IRFZ44N, like the IRF540, also has a higher gate threshold voltage , so would also require a bigger battery pack, but otherwise the project should work.

      Can you please help on numbers? I mean capacities of all the elements, there are only for resistors. Thanks.

    hey, can you please enable the website you've provided in the description, I am doing this circuit for my school sience fair, which is very important for my grades , the info. on the website would really help me under stand what things I need and the theory behind how it works, CUZ you see I have to submit a report too , so the website would really help me make it. It was available earlier I dont know why I cannot access it anymore, so if you could just look into the problem, it would be great help. also really appreciate the great work you do!👍😊

    If I use a 2xAA battery holder, would it still function?

    • @Science.Buddies
      @Science.Buddies  7 месяцев назад

      This circuit needs a 3xAA battery holder for 4.5V. A 2xAA battery holder would only supply 3V and that won't be enough to activate the transistor in the circuit.

    Whats the specific type of potentiometer used? Thank you

    • @Science.Buddies
      @Science.Buddies  4 месяца назад

      It is a generic 10 kilo-ohm potentiometer. You just need to make sure it has breadboard-compatible pins and not solder tabs.
