- Happy to say we are moving along with our project! This video includes the electric work we did, how we removed our subfloor and the removal of the insulation. We are in no way professionals, but we are truly enjoying this learning experience. Keep up with our progress!

really appreciate the details in a step by step manner. My bf and I are about to renovate our gifted '73 AS Ambassador. Looking forward to the challenge and to learn a few new skills. So thankful for channels like yours! Thanks!
Loved the music btw lol! I was dancing while watching haha
+Yup!It'sCoop haha thanks! I hope your renovation goes well. Let us know if we can help at all. 👍
I concur! Great channel for Airstream Newbies
use a hole saw to drill around floor bolts worked really well for me
We Love You guys! It is so encouraging to see you two working together on this project. Please be safe and keep up the good work!
Ps 37:23.
Dad :)
+Michael McLeod aw thanks!! Cant wait to have you up to see it. Mom took video today for you.
I'm ripping my floor up also on my 34' triple axle.
I realize I'm a day late and a dollar short, but here is what worked very well for me. Drill two holes angled in towards the floor screw on each side.
Spray the holes and screw with liquid wrench and allow them to soak for a hour or more. So far I only had two that I will have to grind off. Just to far gone with corrosion.
Yeah that seems like a common problem with these older models. What year is yours?
Love in a Tin Can I have a 1990 34' Limited. It appears since I posted I may need to take the shell off after what I've found. I think it's going to the frame repair easier to complete.
Wow, you guys. I was impressed with the first vid( most recent) and now I see how far down to the bone you took it.
This is really something. Tiki 🚎💨💨💨
+tiki lebby Thanks! We had a great time working on it. Not totally finished but we're living in it now 👍
+Love in a Tin Can 👍🏻👏🏻
did you end up spray foaming the floor? I hear it really helps strength things up what ever you spray it to
+yamahchopper We ended up using ridged board foam for the floor insulation. For the cracks we used cans of the expanding foam from Home Depot.
that frame is extensively rusted, likely down to about 50% of original strength. something I shall be wary of. thanks for posting.
+Rob Grune Yeah, a few of our friends are looking into purchasing and renovating an Airstream as well. We are encouraging everyone to strip it down to the bare bones, just to have that peace of mind with the safety of the frame. It seems pretty common that the frame will have at least some damage. But it definitely can be dealt with 👍☺
would you recommend drain plugs like a jeep wrangler
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. Could you explain a little more?
It's a plug to drain water in the floor pans. You could youtube "DRAINPLUG JEEP"
