ఆరోజుల్లో దూరదర్శన్లో నేను ఈ సినిమా చూశాను. చాలా గొప్ప విషయం తెలిసింది డైరెక్టర్ గారు.
ఒక గొప్ప యోధుడు గురించి చాల లేటుగా తెలిసింది.మొదటి స్వతంత్ర సమర్ యోధుడు మన తెలుగు వాడు కావడం మన అదృష్టం.
I am from Kurnool and student of history. He is not the first one as showcased in the movie. The first revolt witnessed in 1772- Sanyasi &fakir rebellion. From der onwards 100s of Peasants, Zamindars, Tribals and Civilians revolted. 1857 revolt is the culmination of these minor revolts. Uyalawada Narasimha Reddy revolt one of the revolt under category of Zamindars or Palegars. Raja of Vijayanagara revolted in 1796. Diwan Veluthambi revolted in 1800s nd kata brahmana and uayalawada Narasimha Reddy in 1850s.
All these revolts including Narasimha Reddys are exemplary showcase of courage and bravery. But our emotions shouldn't distort the facts.

I am from Davangere city of Karnataka. I watched Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy Telugu movie 2 times. Movie is very good. After this I am watching this serial. This is also too good. Hats off....But I think, there may be more than thousands of these type of unknown Freedom fighters are there in all over India....but in our school and college history books, not mentioned about them.....why...why....

Very interesting thing to note in the video. When the great worrier sri narasimhan Reddy was hung In 1847, he said that in lapse of 100 years, we would get freedom. Exactly after 100 years, i.e., in 1947, India got independence. What a coincidence!!! Great.

Excellent effort by the director who made it under severe limitations - both financial and technical limitations. Narasimha Reddy was played by Meka Ramakrishna, who played the rebel leader and Anushka's brother in Bahubali 20 years later. His voice was dubbed by Vayuputra Nagarjuna.
Sye Raa narasimha reddy is to be known to every citizen in India.. Its a great character.. We should take this movie for every 20 years.. Then only the future generations can remember this freedom fighter..
