- After many requests: here is the " One " guitar solo by Metallica! It might be Metallica's most all time well-known solo besides " Nothing Else Matters ".
Featuring tapping and shredding in fast tempo it's one of those guitar solos many want to play if they start out playing the guitar - me included! I remember a friend showing me a tab of this one when I played for one year and welp, no chance to play it xD It is an easy one though if you already played a lot of Metallica stuff. Very intuitive and fun!
I created the backingtrack, too. So all the guitars you can hear are played by me.

@@sarahkaroline1550 What helped me greatly is only 5-10 minutes a day, Spider walks, as accurate as possible but with some stamine, and some speed, 1-3-2-4 up down, 1-2-3-4 up down, 4-2-3-1, up down, 1-second string 2- 3 - 4 second string, up downs, and 4-3-2-1 at the and all these till 12th fret... Takes only 5-10 mins a day... Great for speed..... It helped me in my 2 year guitar leraning... Still doing them.... Cheers!

Despite all the stones that have already littered Mr. Hammett's garden, it is difficult to underestimate his contribution to the development of heavy music, along with other members of the Metallica band. His signature solos are stunningly gorgeous. You solo is so perfectly executed that even comparing with the original it's hard to hear differences, even the vibratos are spot on. Guitars sound incredible. This solo is a blast to play. Deepest respect job 🎸🎸🎸

Really well played, and better than I've seen Kirk playing it some nights! A few pointers if that's cool? For the intro tapping part, try using the side of your pick rather than your finger. The section immediately after that seems phrased differently? Still, I think that interpreting somebody else's solo in ways that suit yourself and your own feel is way better than simply copying them slavishly. Very cool.

This is one of my favorite Metallica songs and got me through many hard times in my life. You nailed it for sure, If i couldn't see you playing i would of said it's an original recording.

This song is about a kid went off to fight in world war 2 he dove into a bunker and rocket or rpg hit and blew up where he was. Blew off his arms legs and face but he survived bascaily trapped in his own mind now thats the back story to this song
Just for you to know , and without any bad intention, the lead guitar and the rythm one were at the same volume, so they coldn't be distinguished easily. At next time, try to emphatise the lead, so it will be perfect audio. Nice pleying as well!!!!!
I appreciate the criticism but I wanted it personally to sound like this as I label myself more as rhythm than lead player, so I always mix these guitars equal, so that you understand! 😃

Such a great solo. It's not quite my favourite on the album (that would be Shortest Straw), but it's definitely close. I'm told it's a really helpful one to play if you want to learn tapping too. I still love the contrast of the gentle intro crashing into the full speed shred. It's awesome! And that was absolutely fantastic playing. You nailed that so perfectly. Nice to see the AZ again, and Ferry's guitar haha.
The ending solo is also nice, after the Bridge 2, It'd be fun to watch if Jassy makes the ending solo in another video!!

Darn, it's hard to play... I am working on it, but the 17-12-14---------17-10-12-------17-10-8...... part is a little bit confusing and forgettable while playing 😂... Not easy at all!
