- I had the ultimate pleasure of fighting against Tweek in Smash Ultimate at LVL UP EXPO 2023 a while back, and looking back this was straight GARBAGE. I can't even begin to tell you what I think went wrong here, but you've already clicked on this video so I might as well anyways. Here's my commentary on my set against Tweek!

3:44 That was lucky af. ZSS literally ducked under Sephiroth's Back-Air for exactly the 2 frames it's active for due to the animation of her Up-Smash. Good old hurtbox shifting.
to be fair, sephiroth's is massive and ZSS's back-air is also 2 frames active T^T
@@Han5073zss’s also comes out twice as fast and is twice as safe on shield, so it’s a tradeoff
@@Han5073 Oh I wasn’t complaining about the Back-Air itself. I was just pointing out how insanely perfect that hurtbox shift was when looking at it frame-by-frame.

You did really well for such a bad MU, not only a bad MU but it was Tweek. Best Diddy in the world and imo a Top 3 player still.

Literally just use a a combination of attacks to get your opponent to a high percent and knock them into the blast zone. Simple

So the frame that the down Smash accrued with Samus at 5:37 activated exactly at the same time the start up frames were activated with Diddy's side b. Diddy has a small hurt box. However at 9:06 Diddy some how miraculously reverse item grabs during Samus 4 frame hitbox. Guessing what happened, Gavin did a F-air into a jab autocancel that may have interfered with Sumus D-air hurt box at frame 20.
I like to up smash after the falling up air through a platform on a shielding opponent. it sometimes shield pokes. The opponent usually holds shield for the greedy extra up air

Diddy is not fair and I say that as a Diddy main. So many ridiculous tools, everything is so free. Monkey flip actually feels dishonest every time I use it.
@@Shmicah1235 Maybe it's because I play him but I actually struggle way more against ZSS than Diddy, but when I'm playing ZSS, it's way harder than with Diddy. She has a lot of strengths but she just feels almost unfairly bad in some small ways.
I love Tweek's Sephiroth and wish we got to see more of it but I feel like that mu would be heavily ZSS favored. Really love the set analysis content hope we get to see more of it

Would you ever counterpick as Snake / MegaMan / Samus? Tweek thinks those three are losing matchups for Diddy. Or is using a secondary not worth the risk at this level of play?

Considering Tweek has been grinding competitively for months now and Marss has been focusing on content amidst a team drop....he did very well this set. I wasn't around for the Marss glory days in competitive but I would sure love to see a resurgence

I got to give it up for the mental game that it would take to watch the set and not just be incredibly salty. So many sad hit boxes and random falls out of combos
