      I like Tony but the problem with him is that he cannot even affirm the existence of Truth let alone define it. This makes his scepticism as invalid as anything he doubts. This makes everything he and atheists say, futile and worthless until and unless they accept the Al Haqq, which is Allah, the (Sole arbitrator of Objectivity and Meaning in reality), in which case, they're not atheists anymore.

    Oh, come on! JP dived and ducked all the religious questions. It was like trying to catch a fart with a hair net. He knows well that if he comes out professing an association with any faith, his entourage will falter, and his bank account will take a hit. He preaches honesty and decency, but his own agenda is clearly more nefarious. The video he put out addressing all Muslims and the Abrahams accords should be proof enough. Why any Muslims still think that JP will embrace Islam is beyond me

    Post-moderism is the paradigm that tries to transcend the "modern" paradigm. When in modernity the West struggles with religion (Christianity), with its concept of or the existence of God, that's seen as fictitious; science (materialism) vs God (spiritualism).
    But with only materialism they realised they cannot get happiness and fulfilment in life, but they still cannot accept God as the spiritual anchor or guidance.
    So simply put post-modernism is self-help spiritualism. That's why they go big with Eastern tradition e.g Buddhism, Hinduism,.. but still without their deities; hence you have these Neo-Buddism or Hinduism, New age, etc...
    Then what JBP doing is trying to sneak-in his Christianity into post-modernism, hence where he ended up confusing himself.

      so philosophy is not good? unless he becomes Muslim?

    • @xSamiboi
      @xSamiboi Год назад

      @@markorbit4752 I wouldn’t say that, the idea is that philosophy as a whole diverts you from the main purpose. It can have it’s uses such Imam Ghazali who was a pioneer in philosophy and Christians use his arguments today against Atheists. The issue I would say is the greater purpose, for Tony he says the utility in religion but not so much the principles that are put in place. Shamsi I believe said it best that Islam continues to grow despite all the people against it and people like Shamsi convert so many people without philosophy, why is that? I believe that Islam is the truth so maybe biased but it’s simple to understand, one creator, worship him alone, the wisdom in his rules set in place, while philosophy in some aspects is helpful to see it as a necessity makes the religion incomplete, whereas with Islam we believe you do not need it at all.

      @@markorbit4752 I have and his logic and sound reasoning isn’t diving in too deep as a lot of people do. He preaches direct frok Quran and Sunnah, Sh Uthman converted a woman in Mexico without philosophy at all. Some aspects of it which are maybe in line such as logic and sound reasoning are ok but diving too deep just causes unnecessary problems, here for example the wall the keep hitting is definition of words and concepts which isn’t entirely productive at all.

      Hi Tony here. With respect, I DID affirm the 'existence' of truth and defined it as : "Truth optimizes hermeneutics in accordance with your fitrah."
      That's pretty concrete and succinct (8 words).
      So what's your definition?
