- A clip from the 2013 Sci-Fi Film "Oblivion". In this clip Victoria [Andrea Riseborough] loses faith in Jack [Tom Cruise] after seeing him kiss and embrace Julia [Olga Kurylenko].
I DO NOT own the rights to this film and do not stand to make any money by posting it. I am only posting it for entertainment purposes.
Hard to believe this is the same woman that played in To Leslie which came out earlier this year. Wow. This woman can act in a variety of genres she’s criminally underrated
It has been 11 years, she looks older and that's different
I love Andrea Riseborough in this scene!
Really Amazing!!!! Toxic like my wife !! 😅😅
@@moisessan1 I don't think you know what being toxic is.
@@flybeep1661 i bet he knows
so many layers to this criminally understimated beautiful film.
Was waiting someone would say that. So glad that you did 👌👌👌👌
Jen Psaki sure does look and act like Vika.
The difference between love and affection ...
@@tylerjohnson4825 Lol. Where to where you went?????
Honestly when you micro analyze this film with everything it offers, it's really dark and disturbing asf!
Vika: It was always her... wasn't it!!!
Jack: Vika... she's my wife
This is the first film were I saw Andrea Risenborough act, and she's fantastic! Diametral change when you see her in Black Mirror, the Crocodile episode!
It took me multiple viewings before I realized that the reason why they were never provided with shielding for that drone so that it could operate in the field is because its purpose was to kill Jack and Vika if anything went wrong or when their mission ended.
Holy crap ! You're right ! I bet every sky house has one!!!
3:07 Morgan Freeman narration _"It was at this precise moment that Vicki realised she had f__ked up"._
I felt so bad for Vika. I need to watch like another movie with this actress to make myself feel better.
well there still was over 10,000 of her up in the mother ship soooooooooo there's that
Yes, I felt really bad for her, also.
Heartbreaking scene.
nope. She's a jealous backstabbing bitch
@@feral107 You understand nothing of the movie then
The difference between love and affection ...
Gosh this movie is so good I wish more people could see that.
That Vika character was so gorgeous. I just about cried at this scene.
An amazing scene.
She died because she wanted to remain oblivious
Masterfully put :)
Yeah plus she was jealous
I fell in love with Victoria 🥰🥰🥰❤️😂
Yes, I understand her.
Just noticed. When Sally is on the screen, there are two reflections behind her, appearing like giant reptiloid eyes. Some of the bitmap artifacts seem to make them blink. Coincidence?
one of them flies away as soon as she says authorised
@@brendanh4815 what do you mean? An eye flies away? Didn't see that.
@@Kleinalrik theres a 3rd one in the top right corner
It's actually the ties of the men standing behind her. In the flashback scene when Jack is talking to the real Sally, you see the people in full. Tet Sally cropped the video so that she is the only "person" Vika can see.
Wow!! Who made the casting to Andrea???? It deserve an Oscar!!!!
You would think the Tet would have the ability to remotely control or shut down Jack's airplane too and not just the drones.
Unless he just unplugs the transciever. It's designed to continue operating in areas without a signal as we see in the movie. As an Industrial Mechanic who works on robotic equipment, Jack is extremely competent with the equipment, and would be able to both bypass and override a lot of features in order to normally do his job. More realistically, there'd have to be a straight forward way for Jack to remote pilot the drones too or execute simple commands on them, he would be commandeered a few at this point in real life. We have hundreds of autonomous vehicles and robots where I work, if something like a robotic forklift drops communications with the server, I can still fully pilot it by hand, program commands on the human-machine-interface on the robot, or wirelessly connect in and set up strings of commands.
Esta es una exelente pelicula,
En especial cuando descubren a Sally por su forma de ablar digital
Vika was living her dream until the day she was dreading finally came he woke up
Like Jen Psaki?
@@tylerjohnson4825 lol, that's who I thought of when I rewatched the movie.
She was cloned, and programmed to serve a purpose. And she did exactly that. When there was a breach in programmed duties. The team was replaced with a new one.
Her perfect life was ruined by another woman….
@@justsaiyan8678 well yes and no. As stated above her memory was printed, imprinted on her. Her true and only propose was to make sure her Jack kept working and didn't deviate from his printing. So in fact her life was very limited.
You wonder if Vika remembered who Julia was from the first
Vika 49 was jealous, and paid for it with her life.
The difference between love and affection ...
how?
@@teeahtate According to the number of clicks, at least five other people have already discovered the difference ;)
Free tip: Ask one of these 20 subscribers who seem to like your YT channel (which is displayed as empty for me at least :)
@@teeahtate OK, I'll give you one more tip: who in this film was ready to voluntarily make personal investments to support someone else's ideas and actions, and who simply accepted to move on to the next cooperation partner, if it seemed more advantageous, at least within the framework of one's own lifetime?
@@markusmuller6173 Yes, I see your point. I think Vika loved Jack but he only had affection for her. I think sometimes people have a hard time knowing the difference between love and affection when they are in a relationship. It takes time to figure it out, for some people. Thanks
@@teeahtate Well, many people often use together one and the same word, but in their minds it is associated with a rather different meaning ;) :D :) In any case, your explanation reminds me of a Vietnamese woman. She also had a very remarkable understanding regarding the prioritization between love for a partner and love for a (godmother like) employer. Interestingly, a fortune teller supposedly recognized this about her already when she was a child. And she believed the horoscope...
If only the last words of the tet where a reference to StarTrek II
"JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!"
Tau ?? What reference?
ruclips.net/video/wRnSnfiUI54/видео.html
Tau Nah. Overacting major
It's time to come home Jack.
I can't believe Victoria would betray Jack after everything they've done as a team and even turn Sally against him. And the fact that she died too is just sad😢
Poor Vika, if a woman is emotionally attached to you, you shouldn't ever betray her.
Except, he has a real wife. The real Vika betrayed Jack, hence why the clones exist in the first place
@@SpecialEDy wait how did the real vika betray jack?
Beats me, @@TheUnknown-yx8zc. Been a while since I've seen this movie
@@TheUnknown-yx8zc She didn’t. The real Jack & Vika got captured, cloned thousands of times, but their memories couldn’t be fully wiped. Jack had a piece of him missing which he was longing for, his wife Julia. But Vikka had everything she ever wanted, a life where she was together with Jack. She probably remembered things about the past (like Jack) but chose to ignore it, as that life didn’t include them being together. Which is why she says: ‘I don’t want to know!’ She couldn’t handle the truth as Jack was embracing it, which is why the clone Vikka betrayed Jack in this scene.
Say what you want about Tom Cruise, his movies are never ruined by that woke crap. I respect him for that.
The last movie star.
@ricardo Your life is a crap, in fact you do like this childish movies. Your mind is a childish crap... In fact your ability to manage the concepts with words is childish... At first you say... say what you want... But If you say that woke crap cannot ever ruin Cruise's movies... you're telling... you cannot say that woke crap can ruin Cruise's movies... So in the end you're saying... you cannot say what you want, despite in the beginning you did proclame...let's say what you want. Your mind is so often full of contradictions usually?
I would love it, if out of nowhere Olga K came up to me and told me she was my wife…🔥🔥🔥
3:27 at this moment, I wonder if the drone is trying to shoot jack despite the guns having been fully reloaded, so it just do this weird noise but do not shoot any plasma
One thought air over level of gravity well like bcz look before apolo mission trip.. but truth is ground level need
If things would have went the way the tet intended. Jacks wife would have been cloned and replaced viki as the operator. And the culling of the plant would have continued as planned. Aka a more effective team.
Just shows AI didn't understand humans and how they work.
In fact.. So many inconsistencies...one example... The fucking drone that kills Vika soooo unreeeaaasanably sloooow ... to give time to Cruise's character to be saved
@@waimar5457 yeah, nice plot armor there. Because that was the only reason it was there. To kill and have them replaced if they become ineffective.
Believe it or not. this is an Ancient story told by the Egyptians, Sumarians, mesopatamians, and so on.
Please reference the story if you can. I am interested. Thanks
@@marioserpico2223 you can search "Anunnaki" .and you will woke up all night to do a research.
As Russian i suppose she is really Outskirter. :>
"I don't want to know"...Sally did a perfect brainwashing job on Vika !
I have a problem with my technician!!!! 🥰
Why did it kill her though?
They were no longer an effective team, so they both had to die.
@@teeahtate Oh ok
Breaking up is hard to do.
This is such an awesome scene. It plays out on so many different levels. The scorned woman, who sees herself replaced in an instant. The "useful idiot" who does not even know that is her role. And of course the real meaning...a red-pilled woman, but she only sees it a split second before she knows she dies. Everything she has been told (like the mainstream media) is a lie and she is being used as a tool to destroy the very world she is a part of, and she does it willingly, until that instant red-pill moment, and she looks to the VERY MAN for salvation that she tried to fuck over just an instant before. In the end, she got what she deserved, and had earned many times over.
You have perfectly described everyone who uses the pill metaphor
It’s insanely profound how it plays out.
Watching her die by her own actions was so satisfying!
Ok, incel
@@AG-kp4sh okay, lost
Women damn you even jealous drones.
interesting fact the brunette actress was born with 12 fingers
not an effective dentist either
Me hubiera encantado que Jack se quedará con Vika 😘...a mi ver mostró más amor por él..❤️
one of the greatest powers that is being slowly revealed which I don't know why it took so long is the power of a jealous woman the overwhelming hatred and evil that comes over her mind and causes her to destroy everybody around her
