Yeah its a shitty title alright but you know what, IMO its one of the most truthful and relatable rock ballad out there. Its lyrics and melody remind us of that all too familiar feeling but most of us are afraid to admit, specially the male specie
He does have a great voice. But I cringe every time that song comes on the radio. Tell me how the band wrote their iconic songs: Ridin' The Storm Out, Roll With The Changes, 157 Riverside Avenue, Golden Country, etc. They were awesome when they rocked ... we had to sit through the ballads to get to the next good song. They lost their way when they moved away from the hard driving beats that first made them famous.
Gheez! Guiding Light isn't even in the song. I could have picked the title from the first line of the song and I have no talent whatsoever. Send me my million dollar royalty check. I can just picture Kevin saying to his music industry friends for years.. "Hmm, I just can't figure out what to call it." Funny story.
